Brody's POV

I woke up this morning and had Breakfast with Nanako as we got ready to go to school.
After I dropped Nanako by her school I started walking to mine, when the same boy on the bike went past me crashing...again I walked over to him seeing him in a trash can rolling side to side "S-someone..." he said. 'Maybe I should help him' I thought to myself and helped him out. Now he was free and smiled at me thankful "Whew, you saved me. Thanks! Umm..." he said "Oh yeah, that's right. You're that transfer student from that said Monster village, Prince Brody Dreemurr" he said and I nodded adjusting my yellow scarf. "I'm Yosuke Hanamura. Nice to meet ya" he said "Nice to meet you too" I said smiling a little.  "Are you okay?" I asked concerned regarding his crash with the bike. "Oh yeah, yeah, I'm fine" he said smiling, Yosuke seems to be all right. Say did you hear about the incident from yesterday? They found that announcer lady hanging from an antenna!" He said and I nodded "you think it was some kinda warning? There's no way something that weird could've been an accident" he says "It's hard to say at this point" I said and he nodded. "Dangling a dead body over a roof like that....That's just messed up" He said and I nodded in agreement. He looked worried "Oh crap, we're late!" He said, "You wanna ride? It's a little squeaky, but it should be fine" he said, I was worried to ride that bike but it's better than be late so I nodded.

*At school*

Once we arrived it was time for class with King Moron. "Be quiet You idiots!" He said, "You guys ARE in high school, areb't you!? Can't you shut up during class? Don't you have any common sense?" He said. 'I wish Alphys was here to shut HIM up' I thought. He kept rambling as I listen to the lecture intently. I felt something me increase, my knowledge.

*After School*

Once class was over I was gettig my things ready when Yosuke walked to me "so, you getting used to this place?" He asks. "Not yet I got so used to being with Monsters all the time" I said and he nodded "Makes sense plus you just got here" he said, "I know a place where you can get grilled steak at a cheap cost. Wanna come? You helped me out this morning, so it's on me." He said and then Chie walked to us "What about me, huh? No apologies" she says, "My 'Trial of the dragon'" she said making Yosuke sigh "Urgh....you always come around when I'm talking about food...." he said. "How about it, Yukiko? Don't you think he should treat us, too?" Chie asks. Yukiko stood up "I'll pass...I don't want to gain any more weight. I need to help out at the inn today, anyway" she says as she waves goodbye and leaves.  "Oh well. We should get going too." Chie said and Yosuke sighed "Do I really have to treat two people?" He asks as we left.

*at Junes Food court*

Yosuke took us to Junes 'This is the place Nanako loves' I thought. The weather though it's all clouded I think it's going to rain tonight. "THIS is the cheap place you were talking about...? They don't have grilled steak here." Chie said angry as Yosuke brought our food and sat down next to Chie, I was sitting on the oposite seat from Chie. "Yeah, well, once you hopped on the freeloader train, I had to change my plans" he says. "Still, that's no reason to take us to your place" Chie said making me confused "Your place?" I asked Yosuke and he shook his head "Don't listen to her this isn't my place or anything" he said "Oh right. I haven't told you yet, huh?" He added. "I moved here from another city about six months ago" He said, "This location just opened up, and my dad was assingned to manage it" Yosuke added and I nodded "I see" I said. He took one of the bottles of juice "Here? This is to welcome you to town" he said "Thanks" I said reaching to grab the second bottle. "Satonaka, yours is on me too" Yosuke said, "yeah I know" Chie said grabbing the last bottle and we started talking of small things as we enjoyed the food and bottles...they seem like nice humans more than I thought. "It's only been half a year since this place opened up, but I haven't been to the local shopping district much since" Chie said, "A lot of stores there started closing, and....oh, uh...." she trailed off. "...You can't blame it all on Junes can you?" Yosuke said and sighed. A girl sat on a different table and Yosuke looked "Hey.....It's Saki-senpai!" Yosuke said standing up "sorry, be right back" he said. "Is that Yosuke's girlfriend?" I ask "haha, he wishes" Chie said as Yosuke went to her. "Oh, taht's Saki Konishi. Her familh runs a liquor store in the shopping district" Chie said, "she's working here part-time, though" Chie added. They talked for a while when Saki looked at me and stood up walking up to me with Yosuke behind her. "Are you the transfer student? Oh, did you hear about me already?" She asks, "I don't see Hana-cham hanging out with the others guys much" She added. "N-not necessarily..." Yosuke said, "He doesn't have too many friends, so I hope you two get along good" she said and I nodded "Hana-Chan's a good guy, but he can get nosy sometimes. You gotta tell him right to his face when he starts to annoy you" she said. But I shook my head "It's okay he's a good guy" I said, "Ahaha, I know....I'm just kidding' she said. She left when her break was over and Yosuke sat down, "The daughter of a local family-run liquor store and the scion of the invading chain....The flame of forbidden love!" Chie said teasing. After Yosuke denying it blushing Chie said "You ever hear of the Modnight channel?" She ask. "You are supposfx to look into a TV that's switched off, alone, exactly at midnight on a rainy night" She explains, "While you're staring at your own image another person will appear on the screen....and they say that person's your soulmate" she added. Yeah that's really helpful....but I can't say I'm not curious it's creepy but still..."What? That's it? How can you get all excited over such a childish urban legend like that?" Yosuke asks "you dont believe it do you?" Chie asks Yosuke "Of course I don't" he said "Well, it's raining tonight! Let's all try it out--then you'll see!" Chie said "sure" I simply said.
I heard the rumor about the Midnight Channel from Chie, where you can see one's soulmate on a rainy night. I'll try it tonight.

*At home*
Nanako and I where eating dinner and Dojima finally came and he wanted to see the news. Yet more news on the death of Ms. Yamano, a follow up. They started interviewing the student who found their body their voice was distorted and their face was blocked but I believe it's Saki Konishi. Yosuke's senpai. The reporter seem to be asking lots of questions giving little time for her to reply.
They stopped as the people on the news were complaining the police got no suspects yet. Yeesh her death is unusual to begin with a suspect isn't gonna pop out of thin air. And like usual they cut to the Junes ad and Nanako sang the tune. "Hey dad can we go to Junes sometime?" She asks but Dojima seems to fall asleep. After we finished I stood up and go upstairs to my room to try the Midnight Channel thing.

Could Chie's story be true?. Well it's almost midnight so I stand infront of my TV made sure is turned of and now I wait......."nothing" I said and turn back and then I heard static coming from the TV so I looked back amd indeed there was static but a image flash but I could bearly see it looked like a girl but.. she seemed in pain...but that's not the thing that suprised me. "I am thou" I heard a voice said "thou are I" it continued and I held my head feeling dizzy. I got on my knees panting, the TV's static stopped and I stood up and touched the TV but it made a weird effect like I touched water "what? How is it?" I asked confused then I tryed resting my hand on the TV but it went in! And I felt something pulling on my arm it got me to put my head in. I tried to pull back and I did falling back hitting tje bsck of my head with the table "Ow!" I said rubbing the back of my head what did jist happen?. "Are you okay?" I heard Nanako ask, "Did I wake you up?" I asked. "I heard a really loud noise" she said "I'm sorry Nanako" I said "It's okay Good night" she said. Nanako seems to went back to her room, but still what just happened? I should tell the others tomorrow. So I got up and layed on my futon and looked at my save.
