Brody's POV

*Next day-05/06-after school*

"Ugh....Why do the holidays have to end so fast...?" Chie asked "At least they were peaceful" Yosuke said "I listened in on the housewives gossiping at Junes, but it doesn't seem like anything happened" he said "And I haven't heard anything about someone disappearing suddenly, either.." he said "Y'think Yukiko could've been the last of the victims?" He asks "I doubt this is over" I said, it would be too quick and was simple than what Igor told me "Hmm..." Chie said "I don't know" Yukiko said "But we shouldn't relax as long as the culprit remains at large" she said "I wonder....will someone show up on TV again if it rains?" Yosuke asks "If only we knew a little more about who the killer might be..." he said "Eh, it's no good fretting over it now. If someone does show up on the midnight channel, then we'll deal with it" Chie said "It's supposed to start raining soon, but I hope this weather holds through next week..." she said "You know...midterms..." she said "Ugh, you had to go and bring that up...I don't wanna think about it" Yosuke said and Chie sighs "I wish I had Yukiko's gift for studying..." she said "Hey Yosuke, why don't you have Yukiko go over some of the material with you?" She asks "Hm? Oh, that's right. Yukiko's ranked at the top on every exam" Yosuke said "Maybe I should ask her for some private lessons" he said "P-Private lessons?!" Yukiko asks then looks away "Huh? What's wrong?" Yosuke asks and Yukiko slaps him suprising the three of us "Ow...! What was that for? I'm just asking you to help me study..." Yosuke said "Oh, I'm sorry....you were talking about studying..." Yukiko said "I thought it might've been an off-color joke. Our inn has had some stramge visitors lately..." she said "If you thought it was a joke, then just shrug it off!" Yosuke said "Sorry. My hand moved without thinking..." Yukiko said looking away feeling bad "Geez...thanks a lot Chie, for bringing up the whole studying thing" Yosuke said "What did I do?!" Chie asks "Youre the one who made it sound creepy and wrong! 'Private lessons' huh?" She asks 'To be fair he walked himself to that one' Izanagi said as Yosuke and Chie start arguing and Yukiko said she should go home and left.

While they argued I went to the shrine an accepted a request that I'll do later so I decided to hang out with Chie to increase my bond.

*Samegawa Riverbank*

"Hmm, this looks like a good spot" Chie said and I look at her confused "Y'know, for training!" She said "I need to hone my kicking skills, or I won't be able to use them in battle" she said "I tried practicing at home...but my mom and dad yelled at me for putting a hole in the shoji" she said "still now's the time to train right!?" She asks "Right" I said "You think so too?!" Chie asks

*Chie looks really happy

"Sooo let's train together.....no?" Chie asks "I'm cool with it" I said "Yes! Thanks Brody-kun!" Chie said

*Chie looks really happy

"That thing....Y'knowbfrom that time? I mean the shadow that came out of me" Chie said "I feel pathetic knowing that's another me" she said "Makes me feel like I gotta work harder!" She said "Alllright let's do it!" She said "Between you and me, we'll be unstoppable!" She said.

*This marks the beginning of my training with Chie
*I feel my relationship with Chie has grown a bit deeper

"Let's start today with frog leaps!" Chie said "C'mon you try some!" She said and I nodded.

*I trained with Chie for a while and walked partway home with her

*Back home-evening*

Once I return I decided to talk with Dojima "We haven't had time to talk like this since you got here, huh?" Dojima asks and looks away.

*Dojima is desperately casting about for a topic to discuss

"Uhhh...Well how's school?" Dojima asks "It's fun" I said "I see...That's good to hear" Dojima said "Your schools days will be over before you know it" he said "Make sure you have fun while you can" he said "What else...? Oh, yeah....How about your friends?" He asks "...looks like you've made plenty of 'em" he said

*Dojima is scowling

"I'm not saying who you can and can't hang out with, but...you know what I'm talking about right?" Dojima asks and I nodded "For some reason, wherever there's an incident, there you are..." Dojima said "I wish I didn't have to consider this, but...the killings began around the time you came to town" he said "My job is all about eliminating the random element. I look only at the facts" he said "If you keep getting caught up in my job, then..." he said and Nanako walked to us "...what's wrong?" Nanako asks "Big bro didn't do anything bad" she said with a frown "I-I know. I didn't mean it like that" Dojima said "But you're bullying him..." Nanako said sad "I'm not bullying him. We were just having a little talk" Dojima said "It's getting late....Go to sleep" he said "....okay" Nanako said nodding and going to her room "Sheesh...She's really taking  shine to you" Dojima said "Look...just don't get yourself involved in anything dangerous" he said "As long as you're safe, everything's fine. Your parents didn't ask me to raise your grades or anything" he said and I nodded.

*It seems Dojima is genuinly worried about me
*I feel a faint bond forming between me and Dojima
