"YOUR partners last night will be your partners also for this day. We'll be having an amazing race!" The MC announced, as soon as we're gathered in the same line as last night at the spacious lawn just infront of the villa.

"The top 5 couples will have a special dinner date tonight!" The MC added. "So everyone, I hope you'll all do your best. Your 1st mission will be handed out to you."

"We'll surely win this." Jasper said to me.

"You really want to have a dinner date?" I said, raising a brow at him.

He nodded. "It's not that bad if you think about it."

"I don't wanna think about it."

The staff suddenly handed out a card to each one of us which was our 1st mission. "Okay at the count of 3, open your missions. 1... 2... 3..."

Jasper quickly opened the card which read, "Do the piggyback ride around the villa while searching for a green tea. After drinking the tea, you may proceed to the 2nd mission."

"Piggyback? Come on." I bent down, motioning him to hop on my back.

"Chas, what are you doing?" He pulled my hand and gestured me to hop on his back instead. "Come on. Let's do this quick."

I hopped on his back quickly, while watching the others running and doing their own missions. Each couple has a cameraman following behind which was pretty annoying. "Faster!" I demanded.

"You're heavy in case you didn't know." He complained, as we approached the front door. "Where could it be?"

"The cupboards!!!" I yelled.

"Alright. Alright." We proceeded to the kitchen and quickly searched for green tea in the cupboards hanging above.

"Found it!" I exclaimed, as I grabbed a pack of green tea from inside. I handed it out to Jasper, as he grabbed a mug near the sink. "Pour it quick."

"I'm doing it." He groaned, mixing the tea with the hot water from the dispenser.

"Now drink."

Jasper made a face while gulping the tea. "Aak!"

"Finish it all!"

"Why don't you finish it?" He handed me the mug half-filled with tea.

I quickly drank it, ignoring its bitterness. I honestly didn't like teas. But for the sake of this stupid game, I had to do it. "Wooh! Now where's the 2nd mission?"

The cameraman handed us out the card with the 2nd mission. "Oh there it is!" Jasper said, opening the card. "Go to the nearest grocery/convenience store, buy Pepero and do the Pepero game."

"Now that's appetizing." I said in delight.

"Let's go!" He exclaimed.

"You can bring her down now." The cameraman told Jasper. That's when I realized that I was still on his back.

"Nah! We'll be faster this way." He said, running towards the door.

AS we reached the main road, there were no passing vehicles that could be seen. But of course, what did I expect? Our location was outside the city with just the tress surrounding the area. "I don't think we'll ever see a vehicle." Jasper muttered.

I glanced at the other couples who already started walking on the road. "Look at them."

"Ah. Shall we outrun them now?"

I nodded. "Shall we?"

"Hold on tight." He tightened his grip on my legs, while I held his shoulders tight. "Here we go!" He started running quick, overtaking the other couples.

I glanced behind, looking at their astounded faces. "Ha!"

"Oh, there's a cab there!" Jasper suddenly blurted out, waving his hand in the air to catch the cab coming towards our direction.

The cab stopped infront of us so we quickly made our way in. I looked behind and saw the annoyed faces of the other couples. "We're gonna smash this race."

"Ah, so you do want to have a dinner date with me?" Jasper smirked at me.

I slapped his arm. "Only because of the food, dummy!"

"Yeah. Yeah. I get it." He raised both his hands up in the air in surrender.

FEW minutes later, we passed by a convenience store so we ordered the cab to stop and wait for us outside. Jasper and I quickly stepped in and found a box of Pepero from the aisle. "How do we do the Pepero game?" I asked Jasper who just looked at me confused as well.

"Eat a stick of Pepero together using only your mouth." The cameraman clarified, as he focused filming Jasper who was already opening the box of Pepero.

"What?" I still honestly didn't get the rule.

Jasper held out the stick and placed the end of it in between his teeth. "Like this." He said, motioning me with his hand to bite the other end of the stick.

"No way!" I turned around, but he grabbed me by the hand and forced me to bite it. I cringed as I bit the other end of the stick. Just imagine how close our faces were right now.

Jasper already started eating the other end, while I just watched him. "Eat!" He said, still with gritted teeth.

I frowned and followed what he told me to. It's not like I had a choice, right? Jasper's face came closer and closer to mine, as the stick became smaller. I closed my eyes, and at an instant, I heard the stick break into two.

"Ah! Finally!" I heard him say, while I opened my eyes, finishing the last of it.

"Here's the 3rd mission." The cameraman handed us the card.

"Buy a couple's item with the money that you will earn from asking strangers on the street." Jasper read out loud.

"What???" I exclaimed. "How are we supposed to convince random strangers to give us money? Argh!" I scratched my head in annoyance.

"Yeah! That's not a problem. Let's go." Jasper grabbed my hand, as he led the way outside the streets of that quiet town. He suddenly borrowed the phone of the cameraman following us and started clicking something in it.

"Jasper Lee, what are you doing?" I asked in fury.

The phone suddenly started to play an upbeat music. I looked at him in confusion. But then, he already made his way at the entrance of a grocery store and started popping and locking with the beat of the music. The people going in and out took interest in his dancing that some even stopped to watch him.

"Ah, so that's his plan." I mumbled to myself, as I walked near him. "WOOOH!" I shouted, causing the others to look at me in a weird way.

Watching him, he really is good... no, scratch that... great in dancing. Everytime I see him dance, I see a completely new person. His passion for dancing is really intense that I always tell him to try to audition or something so that people will see his talent. But, he always says that if an opportunity will come, he will show off what he got so I guess he considered today as an opportunity.

"Thank you very much!" He expressed his thanks to the people who threw in money while he was dancing.

"Good job, dude!" I tapped his arm, after his freestyle dance performance.

He accumulated a total of 150 php which made him totally happy. I could it in his eyes... and smile. He has never earned money for himself. He's always relying to his parents so this was really an achievement to him. But then, I think that amount was still not enough. "What can we buy with this?" I asked him.

"Hmmm..." He paused, looking around. Then, he stopped when his eyes caught something at the corner of the street. "I think that should do it." He pointed towards it so I followed his finger with my eyes and saw a tiny stall. I wasn't quite sure if that was really called a stall since it's only made up of a small table where the items were displayed, with the seller sitting beside it.

"Oh... kay." I muttered, still unsure whether there's something we could buy there as a couple's item.

He suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me so I had no choice but to follow his trail. We reached the seller and found out that he was selling some cheap stuffs like watches, eyeglasses, pouches etc. Jasper picked up a watch from the table and showed it to the seller. "How much is this?"

"100 php." The middle-aged lady answered.

"Auntie..." Jasper paused, then leaned closer towards the lady's ear, whispering something that I couldn't hear (obviously).

I frowned as I watched Jasper glancing at me while whispering to the lady. What is this guy up to again?

The lady suddenly nodded, as soon as Jasper was done talking (or rather, whispering). "Ah... since it's your monthsary today, I'll give you discount then. 150 for the 2 watches."

My jaw literally dropped down the ground. What did she just say? Monthsary? DAMN! JASPER LEE!!!! I was mentally cursing at him, but I couldn't let it out since the camera was now focusing at me. Great!

"Ah, thank you so much, auntie." Jasper handed the money to the lady with such wide smile plastered on his face, as the lady gave the 2 watches to him.

I forced a smile as we said goodbye to the lady. Jasper grabbed my left hand and placed the watch around my wrist. I was frowning at him that whole time. The camera was focused on him placing it on my hand so I had the liberty to frown at him.

After that, the cameraman handed us out the 4th mission. "Take a picture together with the sea as your background." Jasper read it out. "Eh? Where the heck are we gonna find a sea here?"

"Exactly." I said, eyeing him.

The cameraman just shrugged his shoulders while capturing our confused faces. I was still in the middle of confusion when Jasper suddenly thought of something. "Wait... it doesn't have to be an actual sea, right?"

I creased my brows at him. "What do you mean?"

Jasper just grinned at me, then grabbed my hand again, startling me. Okay he seriously needs to stop grabbing me by the hand like that or else I'll die of heart attack.

"Where are we going?" I asked him as we entered inside the convenience store where we first stopped. "Why here?"

He pointed towards a huge poster plastered on a wall and I was surprised to see that it was undoubtedly a SEA. "This will do, right?" He asked the cameraman, but of course the latter just shrugged again. "Come on, Chas." He pulled my shoulders, as he placed his hand over it.

I smiled awkwardly as Jasper positioned the phone to capture us with the backdrop of sea behind us. He really is weird and genius at the same time. I chuckled at that thought.

He flicked my forehead with his finger. "What are you laughing about?"

"Nothing. Just your usual silliness." I answered him, smiling.

"You mean my intelligence?" Jasper bragged. "But anyway, is this the last mission?" He turned to the cameraman.

"We need to go back to the villa for your last mission."

After that, we quickly took the cab which we rode on earlier going here. As we passed by the streets, I suddenly caught a familiar figure walking lazily on the sidewalk with a girl pulling him to run. But of course, it was the DEVIL. I pity the girl. I just couldn't imagine lasting a day with him. I probably would end up in jail if I that happened, since I wouldn't be able to control myself from murdering him.

When we reached back the villa, there were only a few couples left there in the front lawn doing something (their missions, I presume). We both entered inside and saw Victoria, the MC sitting on the couch with a couple beside her: the guy who saved me last night, Mino and his partner and my roommate, Hannah.

"Chastity!" Mino suddenly greeted me, waving at me like a kid.

"Mino." I greeted back with a smile.

"Oh, you're the 2nd to finish the mission. Congratulations." Victoria said.

"I thought there's a final mission?" Jasper asked back.

"Oh there's none, silly. Come here take a seat with the first place couple." Victoria offered, gesturing us to sit beside the couple.

I tried to be comfortable as I could sitting on the couch with all those cameras infront of us. I blinked a few times before finally adjusting to the light being shined on us.

"So, what was your couple's item?" Victoria asked us giddily.

Jasper grabbed my left hand (again) and raised his right hand where his watch was placed. Our hands were now locked with each other as he showed off our couple watch. "Pretty neat, huh?" He asked, looking at the camera with a smirk.

I was already cringing inside that I wanted to throw up, but I needed to hold it all in. Chas, don't embarrass yourself. You can do this. Don't puke. I reminded myself. I was on national tv, for crying out loud. I couldn't afford to humiliate myself.

"Aww, how cute!" The MC chirped, like Effie from The Hunger Games.

Anyway, the MC started chatting with Jasper, while I just stayed there silent, not until Mino spoke beside me. "Hey... Chastity, wanna be my partner tomorrow?" He asked in a low voice, as if not wanting to let his partner hear it.

I gulped hard. "Uh.... Ah.... Uhm...." How was I supposed to decline him with all these people watching? Crap!

Before I could even continue, Victoria suddenly blurted out. "Oh right. We gotta ask. I'm sure the viewers would like to know as well. Is it true?"

Jasper and I looked at each other. "What's true?"He asked boldly.

"It's your monthsary today, right?"

"Ah. That. Well..." Jasper paused, looking at me smiling. "Yeah. It is."

I snapped my head at him, giving him a look.

But then, Victoria already announced, "Congratulations to the both you. Today is your day indeed."

DAMN THIS REALITY SLASH DATING SHOW!!! Why do I have to suffer my life like this? Oh, please! Just take me back home now.
