Nate showed Touya around. Touya said that he had never been to Aspertia City before. Nate said this is where he lived at. Touya was shocked about this fact. Nate smiled and saw a Gym. "Cool!" Nate said and runs in there. Touya following behind.

Nate saw the gym leader. The gym leader of the Gym was Cheren. Cheren gasped when he saw Nate. "Oh! Hi there!" Cheren said, smiling at Nate. Nate smiled back at Cheren. Touya looked at him. "Who is he?" Touya asked to himself. "I see you are my first challenger. My name is Cheren!" Cheren said happily.

Touya's eyes widen at this. He didn't knew that Cheren became a gym leader while he was gone for 2 years. "C-Cheren?" Touya said to himself. Touya realized that Cheren was worried about him when he left Unova.

Nate smiled and battle the two trainers there happily. The two trainers lost but they were happy that Nate gets to battle Cheren. "Go get him!" The youngster said. "You can do it!" The girl said. Nate smiled and went on to fight Cheren.

Touya watched Nate and Cheren battle. Touya saw that Cheren had a Patrat and a Lilipup. "Did he change his Pokemon?" Touya wondered to himself as Nate and Cheren battled.

Nate looked like he was having fun. Same for Cheren. Both of the boys were smiling as they battled. Touya just watched and kept wondering to himself.

After the battle...

Nate apparently won against Cheren. Cheren smiled and gave Nate the Basic Badge. Touya smiled and looked away before Cheren can see him. Nate rqn to Touya. "Come on! I got a lot more to show you!" Nate said. Touya smiled. He forgot about that. Wait...How the heck did he forgot about that? Touya smiled to himself to control his concern.

Touya and Nate kept walking out until they heard a voice. "Hey, Nate!" A yell said. It was Bianca. "Bianca!" Nate replied. Touya flinched at this. He ran behind a house and Bianca did not notice him. Cheren also came out. "Bianca!" Cheren said. "Oh! H-hi, Cheren!" Bianca replied to Cheren. Nate's mother, Hugh, and his little sister came as well.

Touya watched Cheren, Bianca, Hugh, Nate's mother, and Hugh's little sister talk for a while now. Once they left, Nate saw that Touya was missing. "Touya? Touya!" Nate called out. Touya came out. "Touya, Is something the matter? You feel like you are concerned." Nate said to Touya in worry. Touya swallowed a breath in and said the following words.
