Chapter 49: The Promise
Naruto soon got up and hopped off the high pole, seemingly sick. Kakashi ordered him below deck while Naruto's clones do the work. Naruto ran into the ship and held a hand over his mouth, him whimpering.
Naruto walked down the steps and shut doors. He then moved to Gai's room and gave it a knock.
"Bushy brow? You okay in there?" Naruto asked and leaned against the door, waiting for his reply.
It didn't come. So he decided to wait for a small bit. But after a good amount of time had passed, he had a sinking feeling in his gut.
"Gai?" He grabbed the knob and twisted it, opening the door with worry.
Naruto gasped and covering his mouth, was Kabuto, smirking widely, his snake like figure looking at him. Naruto looked at Gai, seeing the poor male dead, covered with blood, the red crimson leaking through the boards. Naruto's eyes filled with pain and tears came to them, he then began to whimper into the hand, looking at the body as his eyes turned red.
"Shhhh~. He wasn't an Ally of ours, Naruto. Calm yourself. Or, if you'd like. I could get Kisame to calm you down~! Hnhn~!" He cheerfully laughed quietly, his voice in a low almost whispered tone.
Naruto tensed and looked behind him, looking at the snake. This Kabuto reminded him of Orochimaru. And it made him sick. He was going to retaliate, and beat this sorry excuse of a man, but he held a finger to his own mouth, and shushed Naruto.
"Now now. Kakashi finds out, he dies to young man." Kabuto laughed quietly yet again, his cockiness really shining through.
"You are behind the Reanimation, correct?" Naruto hummed.
"Exactly. I perfected Orochimaru's technique. " Kabuto self bragged.
Naruto looked at him sourly. "When you said Kisame. Does that mean he's on this boat?"
"Hehe, yup." Kabuto relaxed and walked into the room and shushed him before closing the door.
Naruto stared at the shut door and shuddered, grabbing his sides. The only other rooms he could be in, was the food room, the eating room....and...his bedroom. Naruto had the feeling he was there, it was just predictable of Kisame at this point. Just thinking about the shark made his stomach churn. Naruto looked around before slowly creeping to the bedroom. He looked in and saw a light on, and a figure laying on his bed. Naruto backed away and turned around, and began to silently sneak into the eating room, shutting it's door, crawling under the wood table.
The ship continued to rock, and Naruto remained where he was. With two enemies on board, he didn't want to walk out. He shouldn't be calling them that though.
He was one of them too.
He was an enemy. So why was he afraid? Because Naruto had grown attached to the former pair, no just one of them alive. He stayed curled up, and began to wonder how they were even able to come out this far. Probably done by the reanimated asshole of a humanoid shark. But when and how did they get on without them noticing? How did Kakashi, not sense them. How is he unable to now?
Just then, Naruto's thought process was intruded by the door knob twisting, following itself with a click. Naruto's eyes popped open and darted to the door as it completely opened. Standing there, was Kisame, humming in delight. Naruto whimpered silently and scooted to the middle of the space under the table.
Naruto flintched when Kisame squatted down, and peered under the table, his reanimated eyes filling with pleasure as he stared the teen down. Naruto only moved against the wall, still under the large table. With his back pressed against it, he was trapped quite well by the male. The blue shark man, crawled under the table as well, and smirked, his cracked up dead face still having the flare he always did. The flare of trouble.
"Hello Naruto. It's certainly been a ride hasn't it?" Kisame stopped moving and sat right next to him.
Naruto eyed him and nodded. "Y-y-yeah. It has. The moment I get Kurama tamed is the moment I'm ditching Kakashi and going back to Obito.
"You sound unsure." Kisame laughed.
"Well, everything is your fault." Naruto hissed. "You...messed me up. And I went back home. I-i couldn't help it. I'm just a kid, it was a first response." Naruto felt tears run down his face.
Kisame looked at him, inwardly cringing at this. He reached for him, and Naruto looked at the hand with dread, whimpering, pressing further against the wall, not liking the fact they were in a tight space. Kisame only further continued to move. He then held the teen's face still, and wiped away his tears. Naruto seemed confused by his gentleness, and didn't enjoy it very much. It just confused him.
"W-wh..." Naruto couldn't even react properly.
Kisame only shrugged and sat there in silence. He then looked grimly at him.
"Naruto. Tell me once. Only once. Who's side are you on?" Kisame asked boldly.
"..." Naruto looked at him.
"Wrong answer." He growled and his fist rammed into his gut, making Naruto nearly vomit from the impact, him grunting loudly, wind escaping his lungs.
"Hn!" He wheezed as he tried to get the air back in him, clutching his stomach tightly.
"Again. Which side are you on. You have ten seconds." Kisame narrowed his eyes.
"I'll kill him!" Kurama threatened.
No! Don't take me over it hurts! You're too loud! Kakashi will die!
"Five more seconds." Kisame growled.
"Naruto! Forget the fucker for two seconds, and focus on the bigger fucker in front of you! Let me in!" Kurama snarled, standing up straight, slamming his head into the cage.
KAKASHI WILL DIE IF YOU DO! AND YOU WILL SINK THIS WOODEN BOAT! NO!
"TCH. Wrong answer." Kisame snapped, and his fist once again, jammed itself into Naruto's gut.
Naruto winced and coughed up blood, crying out in pain into Kisame's hand, that was now over his mouth, blood seeping through the space between his fingers slowly.
"Mmmhm!" Naruto cried and gasped, curling up.
His hands grabbed and pulled at the male, trying to get him away, but Kisame quickly pinned them at his sides, looking dead serious. His eyes were merciless, and Naruto's were filled with fear.
"Ten. Seconds." He removed his hand, and eyes him.
"NARUTO UZUMAKI! YOU LET ME IN NOW!" Kurama barked, clawing at the cage.
Naruto's red eyes flickered as he looked forwards, trying to gasp in air, trying to speak his one worded reply. Though he was failing miserably. He squirmed under the larger body, and his vision was flooding with black spots, as he was getting nearer to passing out. He seriously loathed this man, but he wasn't going to kill Kakashi and sink the boat because of his loath for this man.
"N-n-n..." Naruto tried to speak, his face scrunched up as he tried to pronounce his word.
"Wrong Answer." He growled, looking directly at Naruto.
Naruto looked at him with dread and shook. Kisame then sighed and looked a little more tense. He then yanked his knee back, and full forced kneed him in the crotch, kissing the boy as he screamed to muffle him. But it was still loud. But not loud enough over the rain, over the wind, and the thunder swarming the air outside.
Red spirals of chakra began to fume slowly off of his body in small tendrils, spaced out at random. He shook and cried as he was in this situation. His body went limp as he finally caught his breath, gasping and drawing in air, panting into the kiss as he looked forwards, like a coward, crying and pressing his legs together, as his balls throbbed in immense pain, the hurt soaring through his intestines.
Naruto looked at him and spoke a word, and sense it wasn't heard, Kisame pulled his face away, but only by an inch, still eyeing him. Naruto looked at him as his eyes then turned purple, and they Completely changed, from fear.
To athority and rage. Naruto's seal glowed purple, and he smirked and giggled.
"I said yes you fuck-nut!" He purred.
Naruto's hands were infused with chakra, and Kisame was sent to the far wall, out from under the table. Naruto crawled out too and walked to him, his wounded stomach healing very fast, blood drooling from his nose now.
"You really annoy me Hoshigaki. You keep hurting what belongs to me." Naruto looked at his nails in a sassy fashion before looking up, only with his eyes as his body remained still. "That's not allowed."
Just the Kisame felt a chill run down his spine, as behind Naruto, was a silhouette of someone. They we're slender, and only had one eye, and was made like they were scribbled on the air, a bunch of rushing lines only he could see. This single, eye, in the form of the hole on Tobi's former mask, glowed red and purple, the two colors swirling in a waltz of hell. The figure cracks a sharp, glowing purple and red mouth and it chuckled. Kisame held a hand on his chest as he then fell to his knees.
That figure was Obito's chakra, seeping into and out of Naruto to make a figure only the blue guy could see.
Naruto then smiled softly. "Now, the next time you hurt him, is the moment you wish you stayed dead. Alright babe?"
"Y-yes sir." Kisame looked down.
Naruto went to normal and leaned against the wall as his body began to rapidly heal sense that seal harms him massively. Kisame was desummoned to Kabuto, and Kabuto took his leave and left Naruto in his condition, and left the body in cleaner way, sewed up and just...discolored in an eerie fashion.
"Obito....what...why...did they do that?" Naruto slid to his knees, crying.
"Because...it had to be done. Kisame wasn't supposed to do that...but Gai is dead now. I wanted that so." Obito was actually there, behind him.
He looked a little banged up. Probably because the war started already. Naruto couldn't stay mad, he just wanted comfort from the man he loved. Obito watched Naruto as Naruto pulled him down to hug his chest. Obito hugged back, and kissed the top of his head, and rocked him back and forth.
"Just stay here, and you will be safe. No harm will come to you." Obito looked forwards with a shamed and guilty expression. One that smelled of mischieve....and betrayal.....one....that probably means the opposite of what he was saying.
"I promise."
