I found myself in a park, but nothing in sight. Well except for a squeaky swing set and a rusty, old slide that looks like it couldn't carry anything over about a hundred pounds.

Suddenly I heard footsteps approaching. I turned my head to the side but not all the way back.

"Hi" the person spoke up.

I gasped, I know that voice. I swallowed and turned around completely. There stood Annabeth Chase smiling at me.

And of course, me being the awkward me, I stuttered "H-Hey"

She smiled and tilted her head

Holy Shit, she looks so cute when she does that

Then, I woke up...

I groaned while I sat up.

Oh thank God I requested off, Because I really don't feel like going to the office today.

I looked at the piece of paper on my bedside table that read the number. I bit my lip. It's like it was calling out to me. I shook that thought out of my mind

Today was all about me. No thinking about work or Annabeth Cha- I mean, name of the girl to be announced.

So I got out of bed and into the restroom. I took a shower and dressed.

Then, I heard my phone buzzing. It's 9 o'clock in the morning.

"Who the Hell could be calling me this early" I muttered to myself

I picked up my ringing phone and read the caller ID. It read Jason Grace.

I pressed the answer button and put the phone to my ear. "What do you want, Jason?"

"Good morning to you too buddy" He teased

I rolled my eyes and sat on my bed.

"So..." He bored on

"Spit it out Grace"

"I was wondering if you wanna go out with the gang tonight"

"Leo, Frank,, Piper, Hazel and Calypso?"

"No Percy, the Spice Girls" Jason said with a serious tone

I gave him a squinted look

He raised an eyebrow at me "Yes Percy, them"

I didn't have to think twice. Going out with my friends could be a good distraction from...her.

"Yeah, I'd love too"

Then my phone started to ring again. I looked at the screen and it read 'Jason Grace would like to FaceTime'. I pressed the answer button. The screen changed to Jason's smiling face.

"Great, we're going to a club"

I narrowed my eyes "A club?"

Jason smiled "Yup"

"Why? Of all places, a club?" I raised my eyebrows at him "Getting crowded by a bunch of sweaty mouth breathers, the music blasting loudly, the smell of alcohol clouding your nose and lets not forget-"

"Wow, you over think things way too much" Jason cut me off "and now I'm gonna be honest with you, we're not there to have fun, we're going there for you."

"Huh?"

"Since your the only single one in the group, we were hoping to get you some lady action" he smiled

I rolled my eyes at him. But then I realized something. I was the only single person in the group. Jason and Piper, Frank and Hazel, and Leo and Calypso.

I looked at Jason. He had a smirk on his face with a hint of determination in his eyes.

He asked "So is that still a yes?"

I let out a sigh. "Yes, Grace, it's still a yes"

He fist bumped the air "Great! We'll pick you up at seven" and with that he hanged up.

I went to the kitchen and ate breakfast.

I am not looking forward to tonight

LATER

I looked at the clock, it read '6:32' So that gives me about 28 minutes to get ready.

I searched my outfit and by the time I found the outfit that I wanted to wear, my clothes were scattered on my bedroom floor.

"Oh well" I shrugged.

I dressed into a red collared t shirt and jeans. I strapped on a watch and put my phone in my pocket.

'Knock knock"

They must be here. I walked to the door and opened it. There stood a smiling Jason and Piper. But Jason's smile disappeared when he saw me.

"What do you think you're wearing?"

I looked at him with a blank expression "Clothes"

Piper let out a small chuckle. "Well, that's true Percy, but it looks like your going to a meeting rather than a club."

I looked at her and Jason. Piper was wearing a white, plain crop top that ended right at the bottom of her belly button and olive green skinny jeans. She matched it with a white feather in her hair and a silver heart locket. Jason wore a sky blue t-shirt and jeans. Jason had his arm around Piper and frowning on my outfit choice.

He pushed me aside and came in my apartment without my consent.

"Yeah, sure come in" I said sarcastically

Piper sat on a stool in the kitchen while Jason went inside my room.

"Hey!" I raced after him.

"You know Percy you really need to tidy up the place" he said while kicking my clothes aside

"Yeah and you really need to stop barging into people's apartments."

He opened up my closet and picked out some clothes.

"Put this on" he threw them at me "and you need to take this thing off" he grabbed my arm and strapped off my watch.

"Why?"

"It's the 21st century, people have phones to tell time, not a watch, and you already have a phone, you don't need this thing...and it kinda makes you look like a dork"

I rolled my eyes "Love you too, Grace"

He smirked and tossed the watch on my bed and walked out of the bedroom door.

I looked at the clothes Jason picked out for me. It was a blue t-shirt with dark blue jeans. I shrugged. I dressed in them, looked at myself in the mirror and walked out of my room.

But when I came out, I saw everyone there.

Frank wore light blue jeans and a gray Nike hoodie with his sleeves rolled up to his elbow. He was sitting next to Hazel talking. She wore black skinny jeans and a silver shirt with a dream catcher on it. She matched it with a charm bracelet that Frank probably gave her. Her cinnamon, brown hair was in a high ponytail.

Leo and Calypso were sitting next to them. Leo was wearing a camouflage hoodie with black pants. He was next to Calypso who was wearing a white, floral tank top with olive green shorts.

Piper was sitting on the same stool with Jason standing next to her leaning his elbow on her shoulder.

I cleared my throat and they all looked at me.

Jason beamed "Ok you look way better now"

"Gee, thanks"

There was an awkward moment of silence in the room, but Leo being Leo, he broke the ice and said "Well, what are we waiting for people?" He said while standing up "It's time to find Jackson a lady!" We laughed at Calypso's rolling her eyes at her boyfriend.

We all walked out the door and I thought

Maybe this won't be so bad

Little did I know, I was gonna regret those words later on.
