Last chapter, the friendly duo that is Yoshi and M. Para Koopa seemed to not be sleeping well, as symbolic nightmares plagued their sleep. Now, we head over to what's happening, at his house.

Toad made his way across the street, and reached Yoshi's House.

"Alright, time for some games! He'll love the new Gamecube game I just got!" he commented, and looked at the copy of Mario Kart: Double Dash he had in his hand.

When he neared the house, he only saw a broken glass bottle, and the door was halfway open.

"Huh? What happened?" Toad asked and checked the glass, on what was remaining a glowing red rock was inside it. "Wait a sec... Isn't this a Star bit?"

Toad reluctantly looked at the Star bit, and just put it on his pocket. Now,  he saw the door, and took a peek inside.

"Alright... Something's wrong." He thought to himself, and stepped inside.

Everything was pretty much normal. Toad called out for Yoshi all over the house, to no response. Yoshi was nowhere to be seen.

However, all the way up on Good Egg Galaxy, on the starting planet, Yoshi was there, tied up to the tree beside the house.

"Argh! I like this place, but this is no way to enjoy it!" Yoshi said, struggling to get out.

"Ah, don't bother to get out, Yoshi. You don't need to." a shady voice talked to him from the shadows.

"Who are you, and what's your business with me?! Is it you Kamek?!" Yoshi yelled, looking at all sides.

"Oh no no. Not that old wizard. He's way more sinister than me. I just want revenge." The shady voice continued.

"Is that so? Then reveal yourself! If you want a fight, I'm down for it." Yoshi said, eyes flashing red.
"Ok, as you please. I'll show myself now." The shady voice sighed, and stepped out of the shadows.

It was a Yoshi, as current as it could ever be, but it was way different. It had bright, flashing red eyes, spines, saddle and boots. It's colors weren't that of a normal Yoshi. They ranged from pitch blue to dark or lightly dark blue. It had Stars as well, it was like looking at a representation of the space sky.

"What... Are you? ..." Yoshi said, speechless. He never had seen such a Yoshi before. It even blended with the sky above.

"I'm a Yoshi, of course! But I understand the motive for your surprise. I'm a representation of you, from space itself, an evil clone, you might say, but that sounds boring. I am, Cosmic Yoshi, your cosmic variant. Just like Cosmic Mario and Cosmic Luigi.

"... Wow.... I never thought there was a cosmic version of me! I'm quite not important in the galaxy games." Yoshi thought out loud.

"Yeah, but in reality, I'm an old 'bud' of you. In the end, you went the road of success, and here I am, back to make your life miserable." Cosmic explained along, walking from side to side.

"I still don't remember you. I just can't. You're just pulling a prank on me." Yoshi denied Cosmic's statement.

"Oh, ok. Do what you will. You'll remember me eventually. Now, I'll be sure to break things around where you live. Especially your new friend. He won't see it coming.

"Wait, what?! First, how do you know about M. Para Koopa?! And second, no way! You can't fool anybody with such a look!" Yoshi rebutted.
Cosmic looked, silent, and laughed slightly.

"Ha! That's what you think. There's no need to be worried." he said, and closed his eyes. In a snap, he went from his space like dark appearance, from the look of Yoshi himself. It was like looking in a mirror.

"What...!!" Yoshi was speechless, yet again. This was no joking rival.
"Well, I'm getting bored here, so it's time to start the mischief! Oh, how much have I missed Earth." Cosmic commented, and with that, he left the planet.

"Wait! .... Darn it, I'm going to be in serious trouble. I need to get out of here!" Yoshi said to himself, and struggled to get out.

Down at Earth, things were pretty normal so far. Toad brought Mario and Luigi to Yoshi's house to tell them about everything.

"Maybe he just left to do things, Toad." Mario said, offering a simple, yet distracted answer.

"Yeah Toad. His kart isn't here so I doubt something bad happened to him." Luigi added.

"One, Yoshi still hasn't gotten himself a kart, all of his are over Toadrod's Kart Showroom. Second, he is missing! Shouldn't the broken bottle tell you enough?! Somebody hit him and took him away!" Toad explained, worried.

Mario was about to answer back when suddenly, something got caught in the corner of his eye. "Wait a sec, Toad!"
"What?"
"Yoshi, he's right there!" Mario said as he turned around, as he pointed to a seemingly normal Yoshi.

"Oh. Looks like I worried too much again." Toad said and rolled his eyes.

"Hey Yosh! Toad was here a little scared about your whereabouts, but here you are!" Luigi said.

"Oh, yeah! Of course! I was just hanging around the park." Yoshi said.

"Well, that's good enough by me! We got stuff to do, so we better head off. Bye guys!" Mario said as he and Luigi took off.

"Bye!" Yoshi and Toad said in unison.

"Oh man, poor ol' me worrying much, I'm becoming a Toadsworth now, ha ha!" Toad said and chuckled.

"Yeah, right... Heh Heh." Yoshi said, pretending to understand the joke.

"Well, I think that was about it... Are you okay?" Toad asked.

"Yes, why do you ask?" Yoshi said.

"Well, because I saw the door half open and a broken bottle, so I had supposed that someone hurt you!" Toad said, expressing some concern.

"Ah, well nothing to worry about, little buddy! I'm fine as ever. No details need to be given." Yoshi said confidently, but Toad gave back an odd glance at that last statement. But his friend was okay, so he'd just take it.

"If you say so! Bye!" Toad high fived Yoshi, who did it quite reluctantly, and left.

"Alright... Now that's all, time to invite a good friend over...." Yoshi said, and picked up the phone to call.

A while later, M. Para Koopa was at Yoshi's door.

"Hey buddy! How have you been?" M. Para Koopa said gladly.

"I have been great! As always." Yoshi said, with a welcoming smile.

"So... What did you invite me for? A party, chat, game noon?" M. Para Koopa said as he entered the house. His words were taken by the air as there was suddenly no one there.
".... Hello? Yoshi? Where did you go?" M. Asked, a little scared.

"Oh, I'm right here!" Yoshi said, sneaking up behind M., and hitting him with a frying pan.

"Ouch! What was that for?!" M. Para Koopa said worried. His friend would never attack him.

"Nothing, nothing, just having some fun. What did I invite you for anyways?" Yoshi said in a mildly crazed tone, while standing on top of a table.

".... I don't think that's fun... Not even by evil stand-" M. Managed to say as a Wiimote and a book flew towards his head and hit him, making him let out a scream of pain. Yoshi watched and laughed, as if he was enjoying it.

"Heh, what a stupid, weak minded friend I have, right?! Someone like me wouldn't team up with one of dirty Bowser's allies!" Yoshi said, approaching M. Para Koopa like a true dinosaur, looking for it's prey.

Yoshi's words hurt M. Para Koopa more than the attacks. He rushed away but encountered a corner.

"No... Why are you saying that?!?! You wouldn't! This isn't you, Yoshi! If Kamek has got you again, he's gone too far!" M. Para Koopa yelled. This wasn't Yoshi. The twisted mind that dressed as his friend, wasn't Yoshi.

"Kamek... What a puny name. Truly to fear, for cowards." Yoshi said, and laughed. He caught on to M. And stared at him right on the eyes, as if he pierced through his soul.

M. Was speechless. He tried to look everywhere, but Yoshi's sickened stare chased him.

"Looks like the fun is just starting!" Yoshi said, and simply grabbed M. Para Koopa by a wing, and smacked him down to the floor. Yoshi smiled every step of the way.

"I'll be right back, 'friend'." Yoshi said and yet again laughed. M. Para Koopa saw as Yoshi grabbed one of the knives from the Kitchen and left the house.

"I... I need to stop him! I can't let him destroy people with his sickened purposes!" M. Para Koopa said to himself, but his wounds and pain got the best of him. He blacked out.

Later, he started regaining his senses. He saw he had band aids where his wounds were.
"Wh... What's going on?" M. Para Koopa said and sat on the couch he was laying in to get a better view. Everything was normal. He was in Yoshi's House. Speaking of Yoshi, there he was, finding things in the kitchen and muttering things to himself.

"Oh no... What sick torture is he planning now... No..." M. Thought to himself, and shuddered as Yoshi approached him. However, this time, he walked like normal. He didn't have any psychopathic smile or stare. Instead, utmost worry is what his eyes showed.

"Hey, you woke up! Thank goodness, I thought you died! Here, have a glass of water. All those bruises must have destroyed you." Yoshi said, and gave M. Para Koopa the glass.

"Yoshi... Are you now realizing the damage you did to me? Are you done tormenting the town?! Did you make Mario and Luigi's lives a living hell?!" M. Para Koopa said, angry.

"... What are you talking about? I just came home after being trapped! I saw you there, all hurt, and I knew I needed to help you! You're my friend!!" Yoshi said, half puzzled, half worried.

"Don't hide it! Either Kamek got you controlled, or you have a side of you that likes to see everyone, included it's closest friends, suffer!! Don't even get me started on the stare!" M. Para Koopa let his rage out at Yoshi. Every word seemed to Yoshi like a menacing, pointing finger at him.

"... No! I don't suffer from double personality, I haven't been controlled by Kamek in a long time!" Yoshi was ready to keep talking, but then it him him. Cosmic was behind this.

"... Come on! Tell me one more lie! Or go on your torture! Keep enjoying the suffering of one of your closest friends!" M. Para Koopa yelled. His anger seemed to have no end.

"I'm telling the truth! You see, a Cosmic clone of me is going around wreaking havoc! He's the one who made you go through this! I would never try to hurt you so much when in my right mind!" Yoshi explained. Some of what he said he felt he worded it wrong, but as long as the point came across, he was fine with it.

"Ha! Don't make me fall into the trap that is your friendship. I'll grow some courage to go over to tell the Mario Bros. Who you really are. I bet Kamek would be your best ally, as he would like to learn from your things." M. Para Koopa said, and with all the struggle, he pushed Yoshi aside, and flew away. Yoshi chased him but he lost track. He couldn't believe it. He had been nastily deserted by one of his best friends. But he wasn't going to sit down and cry about it.

"Oh Cosmic, you twisted freak. You have taken your reign too far, and it's not even the start." Yoshi's eyes then turned a glowing red, as the anger burned inside him. He desired nothing more than to find Cosmic Yoshi, and tear him apart.

Wow!! This is definetly the most intense of chapters!! I am honestly surprised I could have came up with such a part. Cosmic Yoshi is a character I invented, and wanted to put him in the story, since he's some sort of evil doppleganger to Yoshi, and I figured that would be interesting. Please tell me your thoughts below! They're greatly appreciated.
I would have made it in one part, but this is just too long and exciting to fit in one place! So you'll see the incredible finale to this clash soon!
