(The ages of the members can get pretty confusing throughout the story so I wanna list it in short. Here, Jungkook and Taehyung are of the same age, but Taehyung is older by a few months. And the other members are just as usual. So, here, Jimin is the youngest, Jungkook is the second youngest, Taehyung is the third youngest and so on.)

"Ajhumma..."

The little kid said in a low, timid voice as he tugged the adult's sleeve.

The adult looked down and smiled brightly at the kid, kneeling down so that she would be of the same height as the kid.

"Yes cutie?"

"When will mommy come?"

He asked in a hopeful voice. The shine in his eyes made her smile dropped and a sigh left her mouth. She bit her lips to think of an excuse. Her heart ached when she saw the little boy's eyes full of hope. She forced a smile and turned to the child.

"Soon sweetie."

The same reply. Everyday. Her brain didn't process to think and find a way to search for his parents. So she brought the child to her own home and had been sustaining him for 2 weeks already.

The boy stared blankly at the older, but she could see the despair in his eyes. The toddler just nodded and went back to the small corner of the room, sitting in his small play space and went back to scribbling random lines with the crayons and paper provided by the adult.

She looked at the child with sad eyes. The kid was no more than 7 years old. The child came wandering to her after waiting for his mommy to come take him. But he had lost himself.

Or to be exact, his mother lost him. She shouldn't have left him alone in the first place. She searched and searched for his mother for hours, until the boy could go no more.

She was hesitant to bring him home at first, but then again, she lived all alone most of the time. Her husband left the house for work early in the morning and came back late at night. The couple didn't have any kids yet. So she brought him with her, to fill her loneliness.

Her husband suggested to take the boy to the police station so that it would be easier for his parents to find him. He thinks they were gonna be in trouble and people might think they kidnapped the kid, but according to the lady, his parents probably wouldn't have left him alone in the middle of a public place for such a long time. And it's been 2 weeks already and no indication from anyone of a missing child.

They didn't abandon him... Right?

The boy asks the question about 50 times a day, but never threw any tantrum that he wants his mommy.

She looked at him playing by himself for a few minutes and then went back to do her makeup.

Suddenly, an idea popped up in her head. She turned back to the boy with the brightest smile.

"Do you want to see something very interesting?"

She asked politely. The boy didn't look and replied in a shy voice.

"What..?"

"Nu-uh. It's a secret!! But I promise you'll love it!!"

The toddler nodded and picked up his crayons, putting them back in the box. The lady smiled at how organized such a small boy as him was.

"You're such a good boy!!"

She softly ruffled the boy's hair and laughed. The toddler didn't show any emotion but she still smiled at him and got him ready with the clothes she bought for him. She vowed to herself that she would take care of him as long as he is with her.

"We are now gonna go to my work place! It's a very beautiful place and full of beautiful and colourful flowers!"

She said in a dramatically excited voice while buttoning up his shirt. The boy showed her a sheepish smile and the older could understand that he was uncomfortable. But she'll have to keep him, despite his will to see his mother.

"Let's go!"

She said and helped him down the bed.

"Do you wanna walk or do you want me to carry you?"

The little kid didn't speak but made grabby hands towards the older. She smiled as she felt her heart doing small flips inside her ribcage. The boy was just too cute.

"Alright then. I'll carry you."

She gently picked him up, throwing him over her shoulder and walked out.

The streets of Seoul. Very busy. And very noisy. People head off to work early in the morning and come back late. Most of the people in the streets were children. School and university students.

She walked on the footpath carrying the boy. The toddler's eyes wandered around the street with curiosity.

"Wha's that?"

He asked, pointing at a traffic light.

"That's a traffic light, sweetie. It helps people in a vehicle to understand when to stop the car and when to move. It prevents accidents and also helps people walk across from one side to the other of a road."

She said but didn't receive any reply. The boy stared at the street light until he couldn't turn his head anymore.

"What's that?"

"A peony plant, sweetie. Isn't it beautiful?"

She stopped near the plant and looked at the boy, who was looking at the pink, with a little shade of purple flowers with shining eyes.

"Do you want one?"

The child hummed lowly. She smiled and leaned down, plucking a flower for him.

"Here, take it."

She said softly and handed him the flower. She watched him examine the flower, his tongue slightly poking out of his mouth as he did so.

"We're almost here!"

She exclaimed, the huge building came clear in her sight.

"I'm gonna put you down now, okay?"

She said putting the boy on the floor and then held his hand, taking him inside the building.

"Look!! There is a maze!!"

She gasped dramatically to put some interest in the boy. She took him over to the small maze that was made by cutting and sorting out bushes.

"And look, there are projection screens on the walls of the buildings. Can you see the three people on the screen? It's a music band called '8eight'. It's weird have a name of two same numbers put consequently, one in number and the other in words, but that's what makes the group's name unique."

She pointed at the posters and trees and other parts of the building and kept on explaining to him while the boy just walked with the older silently, clutching the peony flower in his hand.

"Now let's go inside the building, shall we?"

She dragged the boy inside the building, his shoes making squeaky noises as he walked.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you the main purpose! This is a place where talented singers and dancers come from all around the world to fulfill their dreams. They live here and practice. And then make beautiful and wonderful songs. Do you wanna meet them?"

She kept asking, despite the boy's silence.

"Those people there help with the makeup and the people on the next floor shoots and edits videos. And you know? There is massive room where a lot of musical instruments are kept. Let me take you there."

She hurried up the stairs with the kid, more excited herself than the boy. She came across a door that says 'Practice room'.

She gently pushed the door, it making a creaking noise. The kid clinged closer to the adult, scared of the unknown eyes on him.

"Hey guys!"

She greeted energetically to the people inside, who smiled back.

"Hi Noona!"

The shortest one spoke.

"Hey there, Yoongi. Yesterday was your birthday right? I'm sorry I forgot to wish you. Here's your chocolate."

She handed him a chocolate bar which the kid accepted with a huge smile that made his eyes disappear.

"Thank you, Noona."

"So you're 11 now. Isn't it?"

The latter hummed in reply and hopped back to his corner, putting the chocolate inside his bag.

"Wow. You've grown up a lot, I see. I remember when you first auditioned, it was-2007 and you were 9. I can't believe it's already been 2 years."
(Let's please pretend he was 9 years old in 2007-)

She chuckled.

"Noona?"

"Yes Hoseok?"

She asked politely to the chubby wide eyed boy.

"Who's that?"

He pointed at Jimin who looked straight into his eyes.

"Oh. Sweetie, introduce yourself."

She said softly, nudging the boy who silently stared at the other for a while before speaking.

"Jimin."

The later smiled at the boy, almost all of his teeth showing.

"Hi! I'm Hoseok! And that is Yoongi. "

He pointed at the boy facing the corner, not really noticeable of what he was doing.

"And that-"

"Hoseok hyung, I can introduce myself."

He snapped his book close and went to the new boy with a grin.

"Myself Namjoon. Nice to meet you!"

He extended a hand for a handshake. Jimin looked the older who grinned widely at him. So he extended his hand too. Namjoon shook it by himself.

"Is he a new trainee, Noona?"

Hoseok asked all of a sudden.

"But he is so quiet."

The lady sighed mentally, then turned to the interrogator with a smile.

"No Hoseokie. He's just my friend's son. I brought him here to keep to engaged in things."

The boy made an 'o' with his mouth. Soon, he was called by his friend. The three went back to what they were doing.

"Now let me show you the instruments."

She tried to drag him to the instrument corner but the toddler stayed still.

"What happened sweetie? Why did you stop?"

She asked, voice sweet as sugar. The boy blinked at her before speaking.

"When will mommy come back?"

She blinked back. She felt like crying at the question. She wanted to run around the whole city and find his mom and put the child into his mom's embrace, yet she didn't have a choice but to repeat the same answer.

"Soon dear. As soon as her work is done."

She said with a smile but soon, it was replaced by an expression of worry when the boy furrowed his eyebrows.

"Where is mommy?"

"Sweetie, mommy is at work."

She tried to console the boy with a smile, but started panicking when the boy's eyes filled with tears.

"Oh dear, look-"

His lower lips wobbled. The peony flower dropped from his hold and with a small wail, he burst into tears. The three other children looked at the direction of the noise.

"Oh no, don't cry sweetie."

She picked him up and cradled him in her arms as an attempt to calm the kid down. But he just kept on weeping softly and quietly, as if too shy to cry loudly in front of unknown people.

"I want to go to mommy!"

He exclaimed in a squeaky voice, tears streaming down his face non-stop. Anyone who would look at the child would feel sympathy. He hadn't complained anything all these 2 weeks of staying with a stranger.

But now he was scared. And it could be clearly understood from his pained cries.

"Your mommy is at work, Jiminie."

Hoseok tiptoed to get a look of the boy's face.

"Don't cry."

That's all the older kid could think of saying. He ha neve delt with a kid younger than him, being the youngest in his own family. The lady sat down on the floor with her leg crossed and put the kid on her lap.

"Look, they are your friends. They want to play with you. You should play with them till your mommy comes. It would be very fun."

She said, trying to sound happy. But the kid had other plans. He started thrashing his legs, desperate for his mother's warmth.

"Want mommy!"

He screamed, his voice cracking as he chocked on another sob.

"You're gonna hurt your throat, sweetie."

She said softly and rocked the kid in her arms. She panicked more as the kid kept sobbing. She had no experience with kids.

"Shh, mommy will come to take you very soon, sweetie. And she'll be sad if she sees you cry."

She kept patting the trembling boy's back, each of his sobs putting a small crack on her heart. She sighed mentally.

"Jimin, do you wanna eat this?"

Yoongi held the chocolate bar in front of him, but he didn't even look at him. So Yoongi held the boy's hand and made him hold the chocolate.

"Your mommy told me to give it to you for you've been a good boy staying away from her."

He said with a smile. Jimin looked at the chocolate, still sniffling loudly, but he had already tired himself out from crying. The only thing he can now do is just sob sorrowfully, not having the energy to scream.

"But it was yours, Yoongi."

The oldest in the room whispered, still rocking the youngest in her arms. Yoongi gave her a sheepish smile.

"It's okay, Noona. Jimin can have it."

(Yoonmin is superior😏)

She smiled back, mentally making a note to give something else to the other as his birthday gift some other day.

Now, the toddler had fell asleep in her arms. So she silently carried him and laid him down on the couch. Then wiped his small face with a tissue.

"Noona?"

"Yes Namjoon?"

"Jimin's not your friend's son, right?"

She halted her moves at the question and mentally cursed at herself. Namjoon maybe just 10 years old, but he way ahead of other children of his age. She couldn't make just any excuse and get away with it from him. He was the youngest of the three, yet the smartest.

"Namjoon, not now."

She said and resumed her work. The words came out a bit more harsher than she thought, but she can see from her peripheral vision that the kid didn't mind and he too, resumed reading his book.

"Namjoon, come on. Go to the garden. Get some fresh air. You've been into that book everytime I see you."

She chuckled at the kid.

"You know, Namjoon, sometimes I feel like you're an adult trapped in a child's body."

She could see Namjoon with his signature cute dimpled smile through the mirror.

"I will spend more time with hyung and in practice after tomorrow's test, I promise."

He said, giggling to himself.

"Your parents are really lucky to have a son like you who is already so matured and serious with his studies."

She talked, just receiving a grin from the later. The other two children seem to be busy with their very own play. She gently patted Jimin's head, before leaving him in the room.

"Do you wanna learn to play this, Jimin?"

Yoongi asked, receiving an emotionless nod from the other. He climbed up on the piano chair and helped Jimin sit up on it too.

"Look at these two black keys. The white key right in front of them is the Middle C. Beginners keep their hands like this-"

He placed both of his thumb fingers on the Middle C and placed the other fingers on the consecutive white keys on either sides.

"-and practice their finger positions. They practice like this at first."

He played the white keys one by one.

"And once they can do it fast enough, they start to get on to learn the other notes and play simple songs with them. First, we'll learn to play with just one hand and then we'll try with two hands, okay?"

The toddler nodded again, an almost invisible smile on his face.

"Try it. I'll help, hmm?"

Jimin hummed back, placing his hands on the piano keys just the way the older showed.

"Good. Now play the keys your pinky is on. After that is done, play the keys your ring finger is on and do the same with the others."

Jimin followed perfectly as the older said, his smile increasing as he managed to follow all the instructions properly and produce a beautiful melody.

"And that's right! Great!"

Yoongi giggled and aggressively messed the younger's hair. The younger giggled, for the first time feeling at home with the others.

"Jimin?"

"Yea..?"

He replied in his cute, baby voice.

"Do you wanna become one of us?"

Jimin stared at the other with a frown in confusion. The older took notice of that and repeated.

"I mean, an idol. Do you want to become an idol like we do?"

He asked with wide eyes. But the younger smiled. He wondered if the younger even understood, but he was excited himself too.

"Let's become idols together!"

"Meet our two new trainees, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook."

They stood with their bags on side of the manager who gently smiled at the new boys.

"The rooms are upstairs. I'll let the others help to find so that you can get along with them. Uh-HOSEOK, JIMIN, TAKE THEM TO THEIR ROOMS!!"

"SURE NIM!"

The two shouted back at the same time and the manager left, leaving the two in the middle of the huge hall.

Then came two boys who looked like the same height as them, running to them. They smiled at them. The taller one extended his hand.

"Hi. I'm Jung Hoseok. I'm 12. Nice to meet you!"

He shook hands with the two and then gestured the shorter one to do the same too.

"Hi..."

He said, a bit more shyly than the other.

"I'm Jimin and I'm 9. Nice to meet you."

And he shook hands with the new trainees too. They got the basic information about them. Taehyung and Jungkook were both 11. In the first glance, you will think that they are twins because of how similar they look. But both the boys come from two different towns. Taehyung from Daegu and Jungkook from Busan.

"Here is your shared room."

Hoseok opened the door.

"It's big enough for two of you. Are you okay with it?"

He asked. The two nodded, Jungkook's ears turning red in embarrassment at the thought of sharing a room with a stranger.

"T-Thanks.."

"No problem! You can set down your clothes on that rack and the bathroom is just beside it."

He went back down stairs with smile while the others settled down.

__________

"I have auditioned with singing."

Jungkook spoke with a sheepish smile.

"It was the same song I was practicing earlier today."

The others made an 'o' with their mouth.

"Me, Yoongi hyung and Namjoon hyung auditioned with rap and Hoseok hyung with dance."

Taehyung giggled as he said that. Hoseok nodded nonchalantly.

"Do you know? I actually came here to cheer for my friend. But instead got scouted myself."

He completed with a proud smile, making his cheeks look as cubby as a loaf of bread.

"Then what happened to your friend?"

Taehyung made a dramatic cringing face before saying.

"He failed."

Hoseok burst into laughter, followed by Taehyung and peals of laughter filled the huge empty practice room.

"And Jimin?"

"Uh-"

"Where is he, by the way?"

"He's in the small practice room beside this one, practicing piano."

Namjoon said from the couch, not removing his eyes from his book. Hoseok rolled his eyes and went to him and snatched his book away, holding it high up in the air.

"For once, talk to us! I've barely heard from you ever since I became a trainee and it had been 4 years!"

He huffed angrily.

"But hy-"

"How old are you?"

"12."

"And how old am I?"

"13."

"So what does that mean?"

Namjoon looked at the later with furrowed eyebrows. Hoseok squinted his eyes at him, puffing his cheeks.

"That means I'm older than you and that you have to listen to me."

"Only by 7 months."

"STILL!!"

"Okay, okay.. Chill. Stop acting like a child, hyung!

"I DON'T ACT LIKE A CHILD!!"

The giggles in the room increased as Hoseok threw his bag at Namjoon, making the younger break into laughter as well.

"Hey, hey! Quite down a bit!"

Yoongi whisper yelled. The others stood still in the postures they already were. Yoongi widen his eyes and smiled brightly.

"Can you hear that..?"

"Hear wh-"

"Shh! Listen carefully.."

He shushed the younger and crouched near the door, putting his ear near it. As they went quiet, a sweet, soft and melodious voice reached their ears.

Now please don't go
Most nights I hardly sleep when I'm alone
Now please don't go, oh no
I think of you whenever I'm alone
So please don't go...

"Is that Jimin singing?"

"And playing the piano too?"

The two youngest-Taehyung and Jungkook asked and Yoongi nodded energetically.

"I can't hear properly, I'll go to that room."

"NO!!"

Yoongi stopped Jungkook by whisper yelling.

"He won't sing if you go near him."

"Why?"

Jungkook asked innocently.

"He's too shy to sing in front of people."

Yoongi said. Jungkook gave him a confused look but he didn't notice.

"Why? He had auditioned in front of the judges before."

Yoongi sighed and shook his head.

"No, he...you can say, is adopted by Hoseok's stylist Noona."

The room fell silent until Hoseok spoke again.

"What even happened to his biological parents?"

Yoongi groaned and turned to Hoseok with an annoyed look on his face.

"I don't know Hoseok, for the millionth time, I. Don't. Know! We've talked about that before."

"So, he's not a trainee?"

Taehyung said is a low voice. The boy had gotten very close to the later, though the later showed no interest in being friends. Taehyung held high hopes that if both of them pass the final audition, they'll surely be in the same group.

"Unfortunately not."

Yoongi replied, somehow understanding the younger's mind. For real, he felt the same way too. He had wanted to debuted with Jimin too.

The lady flinched when she heard the CEO cleared his throat. She gulped hard in fear.

Why had the CEO call her at this time? She had been doing her work well... Right?

"So, I had called you here because I've taken a big decision. It can change your life, as well as Jimin's."

She gulped harder. Big decision? Change their life? And Jimin? Why was the kid being involved in these business matters?

"W-What decision?"

"So, I've heard Jimin sing quiet a few times. And I've noticed, that he can control his voice, and vibrato of his voice pretty well. His singing is good-actually, it's really great. So what I've thought is-"

The lady's eyes sparkled, the fear disappeared and a small spirit of hope filled her heart. The CEO smiled at her.

"I want him to get official training and become an idol."

________________

"Jimin!"

Jungkook yelled, waving his hand in front of him energetically. The younger looked at him, his eyes blank of any emotion and went in front of the window.

(Don't forget that Jungkook is older than Jimin here.)

Jungkook sighed and looked at the lady beside him who was standing while looking at him with eyes full of sadness and hurt.

"He still hopes for his mom to come back, doesn't he?"

Jungkook asked, while looking at the younger with the same eyes as of the lady's. He heard the lady sigh and looked at her.

"I've never imposed him to forget about it. But I'm just-"

Her voice shook a bit and she sighed.

"I'm just worried about his mental health."

"Don't worry, Noona. We've got his back."

He said softly and went over to Jimin.

"Hey Jimin."

He called sweetly, putting a hand on the younger's head.

"Hi hyung."

He said in an low voice. Jungkook smiled cutely at him.

"How was practice? Did you enjoy?"

The later hummed. Jungkook slung an arm around the shorter and looked at the sky, where Jimin was looking.

"Isn't it beautiful?"

Jimin smiled, and nodded. Jungkook stared at the younger, his eyes not leaving the smile that he sees once in a blue moon day. And suddenly he had the urge to protect the 12 year old with the cute, chubby cheeks.

"And the last member selected to debut is.."

The chair man looked at the card in his hand.

"Judges, reveal him on the screen."

They trainees bit thier lips. Only one member remained to be selected, yet eleven trainees to choose from.

10 hearts are gonna be broken that day..

"Park Jimin."

He didn't move his eyes from the floor, but a big smile danced on his lips. Taehyung almost cried in happiness. He was gonna be in the same group as Jimin. He was gonna debut with his soulmate.

The 10 others smiled, tears filling their eyes in happiness for their friend who had made it. Also to sorrow for themselves for working so hard and getting eliminated at the last moment.

The selected boys gathered around the shortest and hugged him. The judges and chair man smiled at the group.

"You made it Jimin."

Taehyung whispered, followed by a sob.

"We'll make sure to not leave you alone on anything."

Namjoon whispered too.

"You know when I said I want to become an idol with you, I meant it from the very bottom of my heart."

Yoongi said.

Debuting together as a group, the trainees who had shared a room, studying with each other, going to school together was the most shocking thing. The trainees that were the closest to each other debuted in the same group. No tears of sorrow were shed.

They broke the hug after a few minutes. Taehyung smiled and looked at the boy in the corner, who gave him the widest smile possible.

"Ji-Hun hyung, I-"

He chocked on a sob and wiped a tear away that rolled down his cheek involuntarily and gave him a bright smile.

"You did so great hyung. I'm so thankful to have a friend like you."

His lower lips wobbled again and tears filled his eyes.

"Why do you have to leave?"

He whisper yelled at the older who chuckled at him and pulled him into a tight hug.

"No matter what you say, Tae. You are way better then me. I can never touch your level!"

He giggled slightly.

"We may not ever see each other in person again, but I promise to text you everyday, okay? Don't cry."

He patted the younger's back when he felt him shaking.

"I will miss you very much hyung."

"I will miss you too, Taebear."

Taehyung broke the hug and rubbed his eyes.

"We'll need to leave now."

Ji-Hun turned away, not wanting the younger to see his tears and went far away from the younger with his head hung low while the younger just watched.

(If you don't know, there was actually a trainee named Ji-Hun who trained with the BTS members and almost debuted as a member of BTS but got eliminate in the 11th minute T-T. Man, I feel bad for him. He would have been so popular and rich and loved. If he was in BTS, I would have definitely loved him the same as the others. We all should have.)

"So, Jimin is always late for things so, when ARMYs are late in anything, they say 'we are Jimin today'."

Namjoon said to the host. Jungkook left a mischievous laugh.

"You! Jimin today!"

Jimin said, barely managing to talk between his laugh and pointed at Namjoon.

"I'll Jimin tomorrow."

He replied in a so done tone. Jimin almost fell on the floor, laughing.

The interviewer lady threw a short, fake laugh at them and then the camera, then fixing her hair, she moved on the the next question.

"So, ya'll-ya'll have promised your fans to show them your childhood pictures. Have you brought them?"

"We never break our promises with ARMYs."

The camera was cut off after that, and then again turned on, the members holding printouts of some of their childhood pictures and the interviewer laughed.

"Jungkook looked so cute!!"

Jungkook did his signature bunny smile and held the picture up, so that ARMYs could see clearer.

"You were so tiny!"

"Mom took this when I was like 2, maybe."

"Okay, now me!"

Taehyung raised his hand up, cutting off the others for he was excited to show his own. The members laughed loudly when he shook the picture in front of the camera, wanting ARMYs to have a look.

"So, he actually once said to ARMYs that he would post a picture of himself after a shower in weverse and posted this-"

Namjoon pointed at the picture.

"My grandma took this. Aren't I cute?"

He asked in a goofy voice, looking at Namjoon with his signature boxy smile. The interviewer laughed while Namjoon took a deep breath and stared at the third youngest with a glare that says 'you're dead if you mess this interview up'.

"Yes, yes. You were. You still are."

Taehyung giggled in a squeaky tone, making Namjoon crack into a smile. He then gestured Jimin to show his.

"This one-"

He shyly held up the picture and the members started laughing immediately.

"Yah! Don't laugh!"

Jungkook giggled more, hitting the younger on the shoulder.

"This was the first picture of me after meeting Ajhumma."

He said with a soft smile dancing on his lips.

"I can see that it was taken outside the Bighit's building, isn't it?"

(Let's just pretend that the Bighit building was somewhere near where that photo was taken. And when this interview took place, HYBE corporation was still known as Bighit).

The interviewer asked in her aussie accent. Jimin nodded.

"So, how did you meet your Ahjumma, Jimin?"

The interviewer asked, completely ignoring the picture thing. Jimin went silent. Namjoon looked at the interviewer lady with dark eyes, glare wanting to pierce through her soul. She knows what happened and she probably has the idea of how sensitive the topic could be for the boy, yet she asked.

"I-uhh-"

"Can we like-skip that. He's kind of sensitive."

"Yeah sure! Sorry for that."

She shook head head and smiled brightly at Jimin which Jimin returned, but not with his genuine one.

"Is this fine?"

The new stylist asked softly with a smile, holding the mirror behind his head, so that he can see from the front mirror.

"That's perfect! Thank you Noona!"

Jimin smiled at the lady, making her smile back, but something was off. She looked...uncomfortable.

"Uh.. I'll go look at the others.."

Jimin nodded. She bowed quickly and left, making Jimin suspicious about her. Ever since she joined as a staff, she seemed to panic whenever she sees him.

"What's wrong Jimin?"

Hoseok tapped his shoulder, making the youngest flinch.

"Oh.. Nothing.."

He said, looking back at the stylist. He can feel her staring at him, whenever he's not looking but when he looks, she panics and immediately turns her gaze away.

He could smell something coming up.

____________________

"Jimin, don't be so fidgety. It's not like your performing a concert."

She scolded the boy, while fixing his eye shadow. The idol whined.

"Why are you behaving like my mom?"

He said with a pout. The soft smile on the stylist's lip dropped, she seemed very uncomfortable. Jimin took a note of that.

"Did I say something wrong, Noona? Then I'm so-"

"No, no, you said nothing wrong."

She shook her head gently.

"Uh.. We still have about an hour left before the shooting starts. Can you.."

She hesitated, bitting her lips. She took a shaky breath before speaking.

"C-Could you please meet me in the garden?"

She cursed at herself in the back of her mind for stuttering. The stare Jimin was giving her freaked her out more and she couldn't gather herself up to look at the boy.

".. Okay."

He clearly sounded hesitant, but being the Jimin he is, he smiled sweetly at the older lady.

"I'll be waiting, Noona."

____________________

"Sit there."

She said with a gentle smile, Jimin quietly followed, sitting beside the older.

"Why did you call?"

Jimin asked, already getting lost, staring at the beauty of nature.

"Not a very important thing. It's just that... I've felt very close to you."

She saw the boy halt his moves and look at her.

"C-Close..?"

She chuckled at the boy's panicked voice.

"No. Not in that way. Don't be scared. What I meant is that, you remind me of... my late son. You are just like him."

Jimin's eyes widen. He looked down at the grass with a frown.

"You know, I've raised him since infancy along with his younger brother until he was seven-"

Her voice cracked. Jimin felt his heart stop for a moment. Too many things came flooding back to his mind.

"While being with you, I feel like I'm with my son. My son also used to love nature. He used to get fascinated with every single small details of it. For that, we painted his bedroom green too."

Like the green background with all the flowers he remembered his parents painting in his bedroom?

"He was a very cute little kid. He was very well mannered, literally a social butterfly but he was also got aggressive and screamed when he didn't get the things he wanted."

She chuckled, a long silence following, but she didn't notice. She stared at the sky with a smile, the sweet memories filling her mind.

"He barely fought with his brother, which I was very grateful of. Whenever they did, he used to come to me and say 'mommy, I want a new brother. Can you buy me one?'."

She said in a cute voice just like she remembered her son saying. Jimin's breath hitched. He clutched his fist tightly.

Wasn't that his signature line of childhood?

"He was also very fond of peony flower."

He felt his heart stop hearing that. He looked down at his hand, where he had kept clutched two peony flowers, for according to him, they were the most beautiful of all.

"That day when my son-"

Her voice cracked, a small tear rolled down her cheek. A series of soft sobs left her mouth.

"I screamed for him, cried loudly as I was forced away, not caring if people saw me. It was my Minie-"

"Please stop..."

He pleaded with a whisper, his shaky hand dropped the flowers as he looked back into the older female's teary eyes.

She had the same slightly cat eyes as his mother's and the cute small nose that he remembered.

"Minie.."

She uttered shakily, more tears dripping down her face. The boy stared at her with a blank face.

"Don't-don't call me that."

He said bluntly and took a heavy breath afterwards.

"You-"

"Park Mi-jeong."

A long silence followed. The lady didn't look at the boy, but she could feel the boy's intense stare on her. She gulped the lump in her throat and began to speak.

"M-Minie.."

"I said don't call me that!"

He shouted, making the woman flinch. She never thought she could be this scared of someone much younger than herself. But there were reasons.

She still didn't look. A few heavy breaths were heard before she heard the soft voice of the younger that she had always known.

".. At least you could've been a part of my life."

A pang of pain hit her in the heart at the boy's word. She couldn't bring herself to say anything but still she tried.

"I never intended that. I've always loved and cared for you."

"And I don't believe that."

Her heart shattered into uncountable pieces. She felt it really hard to hold herself back from breaking down in front of her boy.

"I-I really do. I love you a lot, Minnie."

"Then why did you leave me?"

She had no answer. It was her carelessness that led to...to this. It was her who couldn't make the right decision when she was in trouble.

"Now that I'm popular, you want me? For money, right?"

She shook her head vigorously, sobs continuously escaping her lips.

"I swear, I've searched for you everywhere. Moreover, I was forced to leave you. There wasn't a day where I lost hope for finding you. You see, even after so many years, I came-"

"Stop it already."

He cut her off harshly.

"You think it's easy? You weren't there when I cried for you and Hyun. You weren't there to take care of me when I was sick. You weren't there when I debuted. You weren't there when we won our first award..."

He spat them all out, without giving the older a chance.

"You weren't there for me when I almost gave up because of the hate comments. Both on my career and life."

Her eyes widen at his words. She looked at him with her red and puffy eyes, but there was nothing but coldness in the boy's glare.

"Maybe if you came a little earlier, I could've given you a chance."

Saying that, he ran away from the garden. The lady followed him, running behind.

"JIMIN!"

"Woah.. Slow down there. Where are you going?"

The woman smiled slightly at him, but he just looked down.

"Did something happen with you and your new stylist?"

She asked, carassing his cheek softly.

"A-Ajhumma."

His voice shook, he felt his emotions overtake him, a burning sensation appeared in his eyes. He leaned towards the older for a hug.

"What's wrong, sweetie?"

She asked again, in a softer tone.

"S-She-"

He sobbed, his hands shook around the older. The woman gently patted his back, just the way he liked.

"M-Mommy."

"I know."

He looked up at the older, eyes wide in shock but the older smiled cheekily.

"I've heard everything from her since shed joined. I didn't want to believe, but she had enough proof. So I wanted her to talk to you about it."

He whined at the older, tightening the hug.

"I don't want to go to her."

A small sniffle left his lips. The older chuckled, running her fingers through the boy's hair.

"But she's your mother, sweetie."

"But she left me!"

The lady shook her head and rubbed the boy's back when she heard him sob.

"You trust your Ajhumma, right?"

Jimin nodded almost immediately, making the older smile.

"The day when you got lost, your brother was with you too, right?"

She felt a small nod from the boy on her chest.

"She was forced to leave you."

She said, going straight to the point. The young boy looked at her and she smiled immediately. He remembered her mentioning that, but he was too blinded by his own pain.

"There were some bad people in your father's company who accused him of smuggling and betraying the company demanded 15 million dollars in a week or they'll hurt you, the oldest son of Mr. Park Pilwoo. That's your father, right?"

He slowly nodded after a while.

"Then why are you hesitant?"

"H-He is."

The older chuckled. The young boy sobbed at the memory of his father. Oh, how much he longed to be in his hold.

"All of your relatives lived in places they didn't know, since they were not very close to them and they had very little time in hand. Why they chose you? Because they didn't even know about your brother."

She said with a sigh.

"Yes, It's their fault for not putting you somewhere safe and leave you alone the streets but just think of it, even if they did manage to drop you off with any relatives, they had to eventually tell the company, as they kept threatening him. So, they were also sure that wherever you are, they couldn't hurt you."

She chuckled when she heard a small whine from the boy. But he didn't speak anything.

"I know they did something very bad, but it was for your good. See, it's been 15 years since the incident, they could've easily considered that you're dead, but they didn't and still searched for you even after so long. You know why? Because they love you."

She said, hugging the boy tighter.

"Parents always forgive their children for every sin they commit, big or small. So, don't you think you should do the same?"

She said and held the boy's face to make him look at her. The unshed tears that glistened in his eyes held both love and hatred. She wiped them away with a gentle smile and said.

"Let's go to her."

The lady immediately stood up, seeing the boy enter the room, with the lady she saw before beside him, smiling at her. She stood about a feet far, then tugged the boy's arm.

"Go!"

She whispered, giggling afterwards. The boy looked at her with hesitation, but she showed him a thumps up. He took small steps towards the other lady, who looked at him with eyes filled with love. He stood with his head down in front of the woman, waiting for her to start.

He felt a hand rub gently on his cheek.

"My Minie had grown up so much, huh?"

She said with a soft chuckled. The tears started dripping down his cheeks, the moment the sweet tone he longed for, reached his ears.

The lady slowly hugged him.

"Wow, my Minie had grown so handsome and into a man of great fashion, I see."

She chuckled, a chocked sob escaping her lips.

"M-Mommy."

He blurted out in a small voice, wanting to curl up in the lady's embrace, just like he used to do when he saw bad monsters in his dreams taking him away from his mommy.

"I missed you, Minie."

She said in a fond tone, making the boy immediately hug her back, shoving his face into her shoulder.

"I know I failed you as your mother. I shouldn't even show up in front of you after what I did. Look how shameless your mother is."

She chocked on her own tears, but the smile never left her lips as she soft patted the head of the shaking boy.

"I know you hate me-"

"Shut up."

He said in a shaky voice, making the lady laugh as she held him tighter.

"Hyun cried a lot."

"So did I."

He replied back. The lady rocked him, swaying from side to side to calm him down.

They completely forgot about the third pair of eyes, which watched them, a complex and overwhelming feeling growing inside of her.

"You-You don't know how happy Hyun will be to see you, for the first time in 15 years."

She said breaking out of the hug and smiled brightly at the boy, wiping his tears and then wiping her own. The smile dropped when she saw an expression of sadness on her son's face.

"What's wrong, Minie?"

"I-"

He looked back at his Ajhumma.

"I d-don't wanna leave her."

He said stuttering and looked down, scared to hurt his mother's feeling but instead, he heard her laughing. He looked up at her with a frown.

"W-What?"

"What do you mean 'what'? Of course you'll not leave her. She's technically your family. And I thought you live in the agency itself."

She asked raising an eyebrow. Jimin whined, pouting a little. The lady cooed, pulling his cheeks.

"Aishh.. How can my son be so handsome and cute at the same time?"

(Don't mind me practicing how to flirt so that I can flirt with them in my dreams.)

She chuckled.

"How about this? I'll shift with Hyun to Seoul, so that whenever you get a vacation, it's gonna be easy for you to visit both of us."

The younger smiled, nodding almost immediately. The mother smiled back, then looked at the younger lady, who stood there with teary eyes. She slowly approached her.

"Thank you."

She said, taking her hands.

"Thank you for raising my son. A simple thanks can never do enough for what you did and sacrificed for my son."

Saying that, she bowed. A little chuckle left the other's lips and shaking her head, she spoke.

"I just did what I needed to. But now you're back. I feel like I've accomplished something big."

She spoke, smiling. Tears filled the mother's eyes again, the later pulled her in a hug. Jimin watched with his arms crossed around his chest and a smile spread across his lips.

"Jimin, the shooting's gonna sta-"

Jungkook stopped abruptly when he saw the scene. He raised an eyebrow and asked.

"Did I miss something?"

Jimin giggled and shook his head, walking towards the older.

"A lot. We'll talk later, let's complete the shooting!"

He exclaimed in a loud voice, then dragged the older out of the room.

"That sounds so like a movie."

Hoseok chuckled, the other members nodded in agreement.

"It sounds fake to myself too. I thought I'd l-lost my child forever."

She sniffled, tears filling her eyes again. The other lady rubbed her shoulder.

"He's with you now. Nobody will steal him from you."

She laughed. Just then, Jimin entered the room. He looked at everyone with wide eyes and then pouted, putting his hands on his hips.

"Hey! I wanna join too!!"

He said running to the others, making them laughed. He showed them a huge smile and sat down beside his mother.

"So, what are we talking about?"

He asked excitedly, the others laughed again.

"Well, we were talking about if we dye Jin's hair white-"

"Wait-WHY WHITE?!"

"You would look like your age then."

"I'M NOT THAT OLD!!"

Hoseok rolled on the floor, laughing so hard that his eyes teared up.

"Namjoon hyung is right. You're old."

Jimin said, trying to catch his breath.

"YAHHH!!"

Jin quickly stood up, taking off his slippers.

"You all will see the end of this 4 ft man today!!"

He screamed. Jimin laughed out loud and ran outside the room, with that, Jin ran behind. Hoseok smiled, wiping the tears away and sat straight.

"Gosh-I've never seen Jimin so happy and mischievous in a lifetime."

He said to the second youngest. Jungkook watched the oldest and the youngest playing and running around outside the room, in the garden with a huge smile.

"Lemme join too, Minie!"

The mother giggled, and ran to the two, the sound of laughter increased. All of them gathered around the door watching them play, how Jimin sprayed the water at his mother while she just laughed, trying to catch her son who kept running away from her.

Jungkook's smile increased and he said to himself mentally.

"Well, there you go Jimin! You're back to your yore home!"

Lol I suck at endings-

Don't judge me, okay? It's a plot-well, I won't be calling it a plot cuz it's straight up SHTOOPID-

My maternal aunt was like-'oh, I have made an imaginary story too! It's where I lost my son(Jimin) at the age of 5(but I made him 7 here) and now that he's a member of BTS, I'm proud of him!'

And yeah, I had a lot of time to waste. So I wrote this stupid two-line story down, well I didn't really use the plot by my aunt and made my own, but still.

What am I even doing with my life? I don't know.

But if you're reading this. I hope you like the shy 7 year old Jimin.

I made him way too innocent, which is a rare thing in real life. 😏

So yeah... That's all...

Baiiiiiii!

*Flies away*
