Divija's POV

"Can anybody copy? I can shut the portal down" Nat's voice filtered through the comms" as I was making my way up the Stark tower. 'Damn these stairs now I understand Hulk's pain' I thought as Divya sighed exasperatedly 'It's just two more flights Divi you should really exercise more'. I shook my head as I trudged on forward when Cap could be heard through the comms as he ordered for the portal to be shut down but Tony interrupted "I got a nuke coming in and it's gonna blow in less than a minute. And I know just where to put it".

"Damn it, this is going much faster than what I had predicted. Think we can intercept Stark?" I muttered. 'You can Divi but you're exhausted and your energy reserves are nearly depleted and based on your memories Stark will still remain alive after this ordeal so why are you so insistent on meddling Divi I have warned you that messing with the timeline too much can lead to drastic consequence'. "My presence itself must have brought a lot of changes butterfly effect and all so I'm worried if something wrong happened-" I was cut off by the sound of Tony' repulsors as I saw him shooting towards the portal as he held on to the missile.

I gritted my teeth as I extended my hand towards the machine that contained the tesseract and began to draw its power. My veins started glowing as pure unadulterated energy from the tesseract flowed into me 'You both are so similar and yet not at the same time' a voice echoed in my mind but before I could process it my body had already moved on it's own as my instinct driven self launched towards Tony.

"Incoming call from Tony Stark" Jarvis's voice filtered in through the comms private channel. "Mr Stark!" I exclaimed as Tony chuckled weakly. "Kid I know you're tailing me but you have to go back now kid and tell Pepper that it has always been her." I scoffed as I reached toe to toe with him with him and tried to pry the god damn missile from him as I said "Mr Stark Cap has already said this would be a one way trip and you're almost out of juice in that suit please let me do this" to which he tightened his grip and as we were getting closer to the giant butt-hole in the sky I became even more frantic in my efforts and he sped up as I my grip on the missile began to slip.

"Kid I cannot let you risk it there's a chance one cannot come back from this-" to which I cut him off as I cried "AND WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE INVINCIBLE? Tony what about Pepper? Please Mr Stark I promised to keep all of you safe....." I sobbed as I muttered the last part as I managed to strangle the death trap out of his hands. "Tell Pepper what you wanted to say yourself Mr Stark" I said as I disconnected the call. I sighed as I prepared myself to go through the portal when I felt a painful sting on my side and my body clamped up in shock. 'What?' I thought as my world did a 180 degree tilt. "Sorry kid, I guess I'm a hypocrite to lay down the wire"

'He tased you Divi there are certain events you can't change' Divya's solemn voice filtered as I tears filled my vision as I free fell from the sky. "No No NO no" I muttered as I tried to stretch my aching hand towards the portal as Tony disappeared through the portal. I felt warm hands envelope my body as Thor's face came into my blurry vision. "Lady Divija you are a valiant warrior and tried your best but Stark cares about your well being. I'm sure he will come back to his daughter" and I just gaped at him as I stammered "I'm not his-" but stopped as I heard Cap's voice through the comms "Close it" as I screamed "NO DON'T!! just wait a second please". I struggled in Thor's grip as he let me down.

"Wait Cap I know he will come back he has to" I pleaded as he looked at me with something akin to pity in his eyes and was about to say something as the portal disappeared in a flash and I saw Tony free falling through the New York skyline. I looked at Hulk as he nodded at me and launched himself as he caught Tony's prone body as they crash landed through the buildings and on to the road as my legs had already started to move before I could as Thor and the good ol' icicle jogged beside me as we reached the crash site.

'He is not breathing' Divya muttered and I reassured her 'He will once Hulk roars at him' but I was not sure who I was reassuring whether it was Divya or my sinking heart when I saw no reaction even when Hulk full on growled with all his gamma radiation glory. "Shit...... shit shit He is not breathing" I panted out as my mind whirled with thoughts 'Is it because of me? Because I meddled?' my heart went into overdrive desperately trying to send oxygen to my body that was feeling like it would shut down. I felt a hand on my shoulder as I looked into Thor's pained eyes but my mind calmed down as an idea struck me.

'Well let's recreate the same scene that will happen when these guys go play treasure hunt with time' I thought as I gripped Thor's arm. "Thor please remove his breast plate and use Mjolnir to apply just the slightest amount of electricity to jolt up his heart" I said as I started to pace around Tony but they just stood there looking at me with sadness. "He is NOT DEAD SO DO IT!!" I screamed as my eyes burned and Thor's eyes widened as he knelt in front of Tony and removed the armor as he tapped Mjolnir again his chest. A fizz of spark came out as Tony's body jolted forward but there was no response.

I ran up beside him and urged Thor again "Please... once more" he sighed as tear lined my eyes and Cap spoke up "Divija he's gone" to which I whirled up on him "He is NOT GONE NOT YET. IT'S NOT HIS FATE" I screamed as blue aura surrounded me and I looked at Thor "Do it once more Odinson" as he struck Tony's arc reactor with a slightly stronger voltage as Tony's body jolted with a gasp and a shuddering breath.

'You brought him back Divi' and as I heard Divya's voice as I slumped back onto the broken road in relief as tears streamed down my eyes silently as I watched Tony breath and just watched him until I was sure he was breathing fine as he asked for Shwarma.

He looked at me as he smirked Tony Stark style as he said "I'm fine kid genius billionaire, playboy, philanthropist focus on the genius it'll take a lot more than this to kill me" he said as I just took his armored hand and held it against my forehead "I'm sorry" as I sobbed and repeated the same words again and again apologizing for letting Coulson die, apologizing for messing up their lives without them even knowing, apologizing for almost getting him killed, and most of all lying to them about myself toying with their very future.

I felt Tony awkwardly patting my back as I calmed down a little and he said "You okay kid? We will get an extra shwarma for you come on" as I chuckled and answered in a watery tone "I'm fine but yes to the shwarma" I said as I thought 'Such a liar I've become'.
