As I regained consciousness I felt stiff and uncomfortable as if I was bound to something. That's because you are open your eyes Divi Divya said in a panicked voice as my eyes flew open and I tried to sit up but could not because my hands and legs were bound as well as handcuffed to a bed in a stark white room which was unsurprisingly windowless. Wow someone is a bit too paranoid. "Who are you kid and how did you enter my office?" Fury asked me with that signature poker face. Straight to the point are we huh director I thought to myself as Divya snorted. Be careful the guy is crafty and you are being watched by the red headed assassin via cameras and the archer in the vents Divya warned me which surprised me 'How do you know where they are ?' I asked her but she kept quiet.

"Are you gonna answer now or not kid" Fury asked impatiently ignorant of the ongoing conversation in my mind. "I will gladly answer all your questions Director Fury but before that i would really appreciate it if you would make sure that there are no additional eyes or ears listening or watching our conversation" I said keeping an equally blank expression on my face. Fury's eyes widened by a fraction as he caught on to the implication. "What are you hiding kid tell us or else we have other methods to get out your secret" he said trying to threaten me. "Oh by all means try your best but you won't get anything out. Listen I am ready to explain everything but not a single word gets out of this room or heard by anyone director or else....."

Fury's eyes narrowed infinitesimally and I could hear the sound of a bow string being drawn above my head which made my hand tensed as I could feel the warmth of my newly acquired powers pooling in to my palms. "Or else what kid you plan to threaten me?" Fury instigated. I let a small but mischievous smirk slip onto my face as I spoke "Or else I might reveal some very sensitive information and the cat will be out of the bag and you would not be able to see anybody eye to eye". Fury took in a sharp inhale as he walked out of the room presumably to instruct the agents to clear out and returned a short while later with a very scary expression on his face as he spoke "Now tell me how do you know about that incident and who do you work for". 'Divya how do I make sure no one is listening' I asked Divya because as much as I admire Fury he isn't the most trustworthy. Manipulate the energy around you and create a sound barrier the whole room by concentrating on the walls of the room like spreading a blanket.

I tested out my powers by concentrating on all the walls of the room and projected a sound energy barrier on all sides to prevent as I felt a tug in my gut signifying that the idea worked. 'Oh hell yeah I could get used to this' I thought to myself. I locked eyes with fury and in the most serious tone said "I am Divija Malhotra and I know that you are trying to persuade the world council to give you the green light on the Avengers Initiative and I want to join the team as for my identity you only need to know that I am not of this dimension and I have come here with a motive to protect the team and earth". Nick let out a short breath and folded is hands in his lap as he said "The initiative isn't even approved yet but you already seem to know about the team and want to join it which leads me to believe that you know a lot of things which have yet to take place don't you." I smiled and said "Yes, I know the upcoming events but I am not at the liberty of indulging you that information as it would disrupt the path of events and would create a big mess but know this that I am ready to prove you and this team that will help them fight the battles that you never could" using his own words against him. "I can be helpful to the team and to S.H.I.E.L.D and can demonstrate my skills" I continued but he put up his hand and cut me off saying "How do I know I can trust you kid?" I shrugged and answered "You cannot and should not also let my actions prove my intentions and it would be better to keep me close and keep an eye on me if you consider me an enemy".

Fury then did something which was something completely unexpected and surprising he gave a tiny smile and extended a hand which I shook numbly still shocked at his action. "Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D Divija meet me at training room 5 I want to see what your abilities are. Agent Romanoff will guide you there." he spoke briskly before unlocking my handcuffs and then left the room.

I was still in shock when a gorgeous red head appeared at the doorway and my mind went blank when I realised that it was Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow. Well I guess I can understand the hype around these 'avengers' you are talking about cause she looks like a person who can kill you in a thousand ways and even make it seem like a suicide Divya said wonder and awe apparent in her voice as I snorted at it which was caught by the assassin as she rose an eyebrow and tilted her head towards the entrance beckoning me to follow her. I followed her wordlessly but I just couldn't keep my inner marvel fan in control as I blurted out "Ms Romanoff I think you are really cool and badass" as Divya did a mental face palm at my stupidity. Natasha just tilted her head as she asked "Have we met before kid?" I was frozen for a second before recovering fast and smirked a little "We have now and I am sure we will be seeing each other a lot in the future". She rose an eyebrow at the cryptic statement but led me down the hallways before we reached the training room. She gave me a shield issued uniform and guided me to the adjacent changing rooms.

After changing into the uniform I was told by Fury to enter the room as Natasha entered a viewing lobby which consisted of a lot of machines and controls of some sort. Fury's voice blasted through the intercom "Kid your goal is to neutralise all the sparring bots within the least possible time". I cracked my neck and let my body fall in to a defensive stance as over 50 bots flew into the room from all sides. 'You ready for this?' I asked Divya. Oh I was born ready let's show these agents Divya said confidence lacing her tone as if she's done it over a thousand times. Suddenly five of the bots started to fire lasers and I ducked avoiding as I thrust my hand forward blue aura surrounding them as I absorbed the energy of the lasers and the electricity through the bots and they fell down deactivated. 'Energy drain huh let's use their weapon against them' I thought as I concentrated all the accumulated energy and released them into concentrated plasma blasts and blasted ten more of the bots incinerating all of them. Then all of a sudden a blast hit me from behind making me stumble and wince which angered me a bit as I thrust my hand forward and blue wisps of energy shot forward and took hold of another ten bots I let out a guttural scream as I burned them until they were nothing but pure energy 'Energy transmutation or the ability to convert matter into energy' I marvelled as I absorbed the energy.

I could feel the energy flowing through my body in waves begging to be unleashed but I restrained it and released precise plasma blasts incinerating ten more. Let's try something even more epic Divya suggested. 'What do you propose?' I asked excited to learn more Concentrate and use the energy inside you and spread it through your veins to all your veins imagining a root spreading itself in the ground charge up whole of your body in the energy not just your hands Divya explained and I followed her instructions until I could feel nothing but pure energy in my veins instead of blood as I looked myself in the reflection of the viewing lobby I could see that I was completely encased in blue aura as if I was made of it I levitated off the ground and then flew towards the firing bots absorbing their energy with the bare hands and destroyed fifteen of them and then landed back on the ground in a kneeling position as the energy receded back into my body. Such a poser Divya scoffed as I chuckled. Suddenly I felt a ringing in my ears as I suddenly heard a familiar voice in my mind "Well done young warrior" it was Vishnu.

"Congratulations Agent Malhotra you neutralised all the bots in two minutes fifteen seconds" Fury's voice sounded from the alarms as I grinned widely and stepped outside. Outside the training room a dozen of shield agents had gathered watching me with awe and surprise as I realised all of them were watching my sparring session and suddenly felt a bit embarrassed but Natasha came forward and handed me a towel and a water bottle. "Kid you have got great abilities and skill as well as a good grip on them which takes people a lot of time you'll fit right in." I felt myself blushing at the comment. Suddenly I felt a weird sensation behind my neck as I touched that area. Natasha noticed it and said "Cool tattoo it suits you" confused by this I turned towards the glass of the viewing lobby and caught the grey trident shaped tattoo on the back of my neck. That is your mark as a warrior as you pass each trial the mark will gain more colour to it Divya explained. Well this was an interesting experience I thought before leaving the room with Natasha.

Vishnu's P.O.V :

I smiled as we saw the projection of the young warrior getting ready to practise her abilities for the first time. "The Yoddha has just got her powers do you think she's ready for using it so soon without proper guidance" Brahma asked worriedly, he had always been wary and hesitant about the ordeal which was justified since the whole fate of the mutiverse rested on the shoulders of a fifteen year old kid. "She has to learn to control her abilities and embrace her true form for her to get rid of the curse and I believe this will be the first step towards plus I am interested to see how well she adapts to situation" Shiva said with a contemplative look on his face. I smiled and said "I think she has definitely shown us that she is not the type of person who gets scared easily , you saw how she threatened the S.H.I.E.L.D Director it was brilliant".

As she skilfully navigated through the bots destroying them all my other two companions were shocked and impressed but I expected this to happen as I have watched over her through her pains and struggles but she always came out on the top because of her ingenuity. "She used her abilities with immense control and precision for her first time. How did she manage that?" Brahma mumbled utterly shocked and confused to which I smirked as Shiva replied "She may be new to his but the soul inside her is not even with no memories of it's past life the soul was a warrior he was her ancestor and would have gotten rid of the curse if he was not overcome by grief of losing a loved one and Divija's ingenuity and creativity in application of her powers proves that she is the strongest warrior in the bloodline both their experience and ingenuity make them a formidable duo". "Her mother knew that she's born for a greater purpose and tried to shield her from him as much as possible but now that the curse has awakened he's looking for her" I said worry lacing my tone as her protector I had promised her mother that I would keep her safe.

"He has been dealt with for now but when the time comes the two of them will come face and one can only hope that the young one can understand why we kept it from her" Shiva said cryptically. I was not sure if she would understand but was sure of one thing that she would do the right thing even if it burns her because that's how my young warrior was brave and brilliant as the sun. 'Divija' her mother named her aptly 'the one born from the heavens'.
