A talkative girl

She is always cheery

Even when the situation is droll

She loves cookies

And can't seem to stop baking them

She loves a good laugh

And just loves to cheer

She always has a smile

Even if she can hardly keep her tears in

She is concerned

For you

Your well-being

She will put your safety above hers

Making her a real hero

Not a sidekick

She knows when to change the conversation

If matters get offhand

She is nice

Even to the people she doesn't like

A care-free girl

But that is what they see on the outside, they fail to see the inside

Yet sometimes

She wishes they could

She has been split between to worlds

Her home or her work

She has been teased

Taunted

And been made fun of

Just because of her appearance

No wonder she hid her true form

She was afraid we would reject her

She has been excluded

On purpose

All she is is lonely

She feels as if she is a nobody

But she pushes that thought away

Because she knows she isn't

She knows she is somebody

And until she finds who that somebody is 

She will continue to care

And smile

And laugh

And love
