*flashbacks when leaves the orphanage*

As we left, I said my last words. "G-Goodbye Eric!" He waved to me, but I saw the sadness in his eyes. I'll miss him. I know I will.

*end of flashback*

Eric... Why did I leave you.. I got snapped back into reality when my new mother escorted me to the carriage. The carriage was big and gold, it looked like it came out of a fairy tale. I walked into the carriage and sat down. The plush velvet seats were oh so comfortable. If I had siblings, I would show them the luxury I am living in. "To the castle!" I heard my mother call. As the door of the carriage closed, the carriage took off. Then, I suddenly fell into a deep sleep.

~*At Heaven (A.K.A The Castle)*~

"Dear, wake up!" My mother called. I began to slowly open my eyes. "Come on, we're finally at your new home!" As we stepped out of the carriage, I felt something very fluffy touch my feet. Was it a cloud? I'm not really concerned about that. I looked in front of me and I saw this huge castle, with fluffy clouds surrounding it with golden gates that sometimes seemed to blind me. Perfectly carven angels surrounded the entrance and balconies. The dazzling golden gates opened, and a guard escorted me to the castle, my mother following behind me. Then, the guard left and disappeared. My mother then began to talk. "Welcome, my dear! Let me give you a short tour." "First up, the throne room!" She began to point to the thrones. I saw a maid with lovely angelic wings smile softly at me. She looks nice. "Next, the lovely dining room!" When she pointed to it, it sparkled. Even the windows and table cloth shined. "Next up, the sparkling pool. We have iced beverages, and...hot tubs!" She pointed. "We have your room right here, my dear! Go ahead and explore."My mom said as she waved to me and walked away. As she walked downstairs, I heard a door open. "Hello?" The strange person asked. Who is that? I thought to myself. "Oh hey. Mother told me about you. Yin.. right?" The girl asked. "U-Um.. y-yes.."I asked shyly. "Well, I'm Princess Fiona. Call me.. your highness or elder sister." She said as she pulled me into her room and shut the door. "Listen rat, you are NO BETTER THAN ME. Your parents left you because your a filthy rat!" She said with envy. She then kicked me in the stomach. I flinched and fell to the floor. Is she a saint or a sinner? I thought to myself. "Now, don't tell anyone or I'll make the demons burn you in hell." She said, as she opened the door and I scrambled out. I went into my room and closed the door. The best thing about it was the balcony. Mini angels were carved into it. Their halos were painted golden. If they were real, they would maybe protect me from Fiona. But then, as I thought that, someone else popped into my mind. Eric. He was the last friend I had.. sadly. I have a slight crush on him.. I don't know why. Suddenly, I started to cry. I was tearing badly and my stomach hurt a lot. As I thought of him, I couldn't stop thinking of why I got adopted.. if I could do anything, I would make the queen maybe adopt him too..
