Welcome to...
(Okay, two things. One- I legit know the hungry Beatle feeling. I felt so much like George today. We did this testing thing and it lasts like a week and we started today and we went to go to lunch and then we walked outside, thinking we were eating outside. Wrong. We walked around the whole school. I. Nearly. Died. Of. Starvation. I legit know how George is in like every Beatles fanfiction. Two- this chapter was deleted so I had to rewrite it.)
Paul groaned quietly. But to him, the slightest noise sounded like a bomb going off. He slowly opened his eyes.
"Ugh... My head..."
"Morning sunshine." John said, smiling. "Welcome to hangover heaven."
Told you you shouldn't have gone to that bar! There's your hangover...
Shut up. You're only making my headache worse.
Which you caused in the first place!
"Why does my subconscious hate me?"
John, George, and Ringo looked at each other oddly for a second. "I think you need some coffee, mate." Paul slightly nodded and then winced at the pain. "I'll make some." Ringo got up and left the room.
"I should've stayed at that bar." Paul muttered.
"Don't say that, Paul!"
"Well, it's true! Ringo makes really bad coffee!"
"I heard that!" Ringo shouted from the other room.
"No, I meant that you should've never even gone to that bar!" John said, getting everything back on track.
"Why not? It wouldn't have made any difference!"
"Yes it would've!"
"Oh really, John? What difference? The girl of my dreams never wants to see me again! How can my life go on?!?"
"Your life will go on without her!"
"How do you know?!? I'd talk to her, but she'd never talk to me!"
"I bet right now, she'd give anything in the world to talk to you right now!" George said.
"That's not what you said before!"
"Because we didn't say the truth before!" George took a moment to realize the words that just left his lips.
"What?"
"Oh. Um-"
"You didn't say the truth before? What happened to Ellie if she didn't leave me for another man?"
John and George held their breath for a minute, wondering if they should tell him. George looked at John. John answered with a slight nod.
"Paul, she's- gone." John said, letting out an exasperated sigh.
"What do mean she's gone?"
"Well, remember the day I found your phone? Um, uh, I opened it and, well, we got a call. From her cousin. Elise- got in a car accident."
"What- no. You're lying. It's not true. It-it just can't- no."
"It's true, Paul."
"No! She can't be gone! This can't be true! No! She's still alive! Tell me this is all a dream, a bad dream!" Paul screamed with tears running down his cheeks. He didn't care how bad of a headache he had. He wished it wasn't true.
John and George remained silent.
"No!"
Ringo walked in as if nothing had happened.
"Ringo, please, tell me it's not true!" Paul begged, grabbing Ringo's arm.
"What?"
"She's still alive, please tell me she is!"
Ringo remained silent.
Paul's mouth hung open. He pulled his knees closer, hugging them tight, bringing his head down and crying.
"Paul-" John said, extending a caring hand.
"No! Leave me alone!"
The three walked out leaving him alone.
Why?
