There was a continuous pounding that stirred Jimin out of a deep slumber. He whined as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, opening them to his pitch black bedroom. It took him a moment to realize why he had even woken up. The pounding continued, only growing in volume.

What is that?  Jimin wondered.

He switched on his night stand lamp, and slowly inched his way out of bed. He instantly shivered as his limbs exited the warm comfort of his bed. He grabbed a baggy hoodie and slipped it over his head. He was already wearing cozy sweatpants, so all he needed was a nice pair of fuzzy socks. He chose his favorite pair with blue penguins on them.

He left his bedroom and shuffled down the hallway, realizing that it was someone banging on the front door. Jimin checked his cellphone, squinting his eyes as the time read 4am. Who the hell shows up, banging on the door at four in the morning? Did Taehyung forget his keys again? Jimin hoped his friend hadn't lost them at the party tonight.

Jimin thought about how he left his roomate and his other friends at the party. He just had to get out of there after he spotted a certain blonde haired male.

Seokjin had just finished telling Jimin a series of dad jokes that he had come up with off the top of his head. They were all so ridiculous that each one made the smaller laugh harder and harder, which only encouraged the older to continue. Jimin can't remember the last time he's cackled this much. He threw himself forward in a fit of laughter, actually enjoying himself amidst the unfavorable circumstances.

Then he heard it.

"Yoongi?" A familiar voice called somewhere within the many groups of party goers.

Jimin looked forward and there he was, staring straight at him. His eyes seemed to be a little lost, almost like he was in a trance, unable to look away.

The young brunette started to panic. He lost his ability to breathe. Oh god, he really couldn't breathe. His lungs and throat felt so constricted. He needed to get out of here before he had a full fledge panic attack. It was starting to feel too claustrophobic in this huge, but crowded house.

As soon as Kang Sera distracted the blonde, Jimin used that as his chance to get away. Call him selfish, but he didn't care about Taehyung and Jungkook in that moment. They could find a new ride home. He didn't care about how he left a clueless Seokjin alone in the kitchen. He had to leave, so he bolted, dashing through the thick horde of people.

Jimin shuffled his socked feet accross the carpet as he hurried to let the younger roomate inside.

"Taehyung, did you forget to take your keys with-" Jimin swung the front door open, but halted once he got a good look at who stood outside his apartment, if you could really call it standing.

The blonde haired junior leaned himself up against the doorframe, barely able to keep his bodyweight upright. Jimin could smell the booze on him as soon as he opened the door. It wafted even more in the autumn, night breeze.

"Y-yoongi h-h-hyung? What-t are you d-doing h-h-here?" Jimin couldn't tell if he was stuttering from the cold weather or from his nerves. The other's presence was totally unexpected. The younger instinctively wrapped a protective arm over his belly. He's relieved he decided to slip on a hoodie before answering the door for coverage.

"Jiminie..." Yoongi called in a whiney voice. "Why~ you leave?" The drunk male pointed a finger in Jimin's face, squinting his eyes in an attempt to look serious, but he wasn't able to keep a focus.

"I didn't want my Jiminie~ to leave." He hiccupped in the middle of his sentence.

As the drunk man leaned a bit, he lost his balance and stumbled forward, about to fall face first on Jimin and Taehyung's shabby carpet. Reflexively, the younger caught Yoongi before he could injure himself. The older was so drunk he didn't even register that he had nearly fallen.

With Yoongi's arm draped over his shoulders, Jimin drug his old friend over to the couch. "Sit down and stay here, Yoongi hyung." Jimin plopped the older down, and hurried back to shut the front door.

He pulled at some front strands of his hair, debating between kicking him out, or letting him stay tonight. Jimin wasn't sure which idea he hated more, and it sucked having an internal battle with himself because part of him was going to lose.

He can't call Taehyung and Jungkook. He assumes they must have went back to the younger boyfriend's dorm. He would call Hoseok or Namjoon, but he remembers hearing Hoseok's voice at the party, and the two always like to have a drunken good time. They're most likely both passed out right now.

His last option is Seokjin. Although he knows the older would be graciously willing to come help him, Jimin doesn't want to bother Jin with it. He's always so willing to help Jimin with whatever he needs, and the younger feels a bit bad for never returning the favor. Plus, he'd feel almost obligated to tell the other everything and he's not sure if he's ready to do that yet.

Jimin bit his lip as he scurried toward the kitchen to grab a glass of water and some aspirin from the medicine cabinet.

When he returned to the living room, he wasn't prepared to see the older sobbing to himself.
Jimin trudged over to the male slowly, not wanting to agitate him.

"My Jiminie h-hates me" he cried, burying his face in his hands. "I'm the worst h-h-hyung evwer."

Jimin cautiously sat beside the older, and wrapped his arms around him, attempting to calm him down. "Shh... it's alright. Calm down hyung." He's only ever seen Yoongi this drunk one other time, and it wasn't pretty. Like last time, Yoongi probably won't even remember coming over here or any of what he'll say.

And honestly, Jimin can't help but be curious of what he'll say.

"Jimin is so kind and caring. He's my bwestest fwiend and I had to go and ruin everything. He won't want to talk to me after everything I did. That's why he ran away!!!" Yoongi shouted, smacking the top of his head in irritation. "I'm so sorry! Jiminie!" he called out.

The brunette struggled to restrain Yoongi's arms from hurting himself, also trying to avoid being hit himself. Thankfully, his movements weren't very graceful at the moment.

"Shh... Yoongi hyung... it's me, your Jiminie" the younger soothed. He managed to lay Yoongi down on the couch, cradling his head in his lap, allowing his fingers to comb through the blonde strands of hair. "I'm right here, Yoongs. You're okay. Shh.. I got you." Jimin struggles to control his own tears, as the blonde's continued to pour down his face in gut wrenching sobs.

Yoongi seemed to calm a bit in Jimin's arms, but his drunk self wasn't done with his confessions. "I hurt him... I h-hurt him in the worst way possible" he cried. "J-Jiminie is too good for me. He deswerves better than hyung, so I made him hate me after what I did, but that makes me sad." Yoongi's eyes were growing heavy.

Jimin was curious about something, knowing that Yoongi wouldn't remember any of this tomorrow morning. "What do you mean by that, hyung? You wanted Jiminie to hate you?" he asked in a tender voice.

"Hmm... I don't even like her anymore..."

"Who?"

"...Kang Sera... I don't like her anymore. She mean to Yoonie. Jiminie is so nice." Yoongi's eyebrows furrowed, while his eyes remained closed. He could hardly finish his sentences as sleep began to take over him. "That's why Jiminie shouldn't be my friend. Imma bad guy..." As soon as he said that, he passed out. Snores replaced his words.

Jimin sat quietly, sifting his hands through Yoongi's hair, deciphering everything the other had just said in his head. It didn't make any sense. So Yoongi purposefully wanted him to hate him after what had happened? What about what he saw in the hallway? Was it all an act?

He's not certain about much right now.

For some strange reason, he felt very comfortable at the moment. Like being close to Yoongi right now, even after all of the recent circumstances, was comforting.

He looked down at the older, while he slept in his lap, and let everything he's wanted to say for so long come out.

"Hyung" he whispered. "I'm so pathetic, aren't I? After all this time we have been along side one another, I've never been able to tell you how I really felt."

Jimin sniffled, as a single tear dripped down his face. "I've never told you how your smile lights up my day, how your laughter gives me butterflies, or how when you do your adorable pout, my heart thumps a million beats per minute. I've never been able to admit how I am so utterly and hopelessly in love with you."

Saying the words out loud was like weight removed from Jimin's chest. It was almost like readmitting it to himself that those feelings are still there.

"I wish things could have happened a little differently between us. I wish our baby was conceived from love on both sides, but I'm still glad they're here." Jimin let his hand rest on his belly, next to the older's head. "I promise to be a good mother to our child. I will raise them to be the best versions of you and me both. And I promise you that they will forever be loved and cared for."

Bittersweet tears slipped from Jimin's eyes as he quickly wipes then away. He gently lifts Yoongi's head from his lap, laying it on a pillow instead. He delicately covered him with a throw blanket, leaned down, and left a peck on the blonde's forehead before leaving the room in silence.

His bedroom alarm clock read 5:30am and he was beyond physically and emotionally exhausted.
