"I'm not wearing that." Jimin scowled at his friend through the mirror in his bedroom.
"What? Why not?" Taehyung held up a flowy, bright red top with a plunging V neck. "There's nothing wrong with it. You'll look hot and still be able to hide your precious, adorable little bump!"
Taehyung came over and placed a gentle hand on Jimin's belly. It was still a little awkward to have his roomate touching his stomach all the time, but he didn't mind too much, only because it's Taehyung, his soulmate.
"I'll wear the leggings you brought me because these are actually super comfortable and I have a feeling that I'll be wearing them a lot more often here soon, but the shirt is a no-go. It may conceal the bump but it doesn't hide my chest."
Jimin grimaced at the thought. Among the other changes to his body, his chest is starting to look a little different. His mammary glands are starting to produce colostrum, causing his pectoral muscles to appear bigger. They don't look like boobs per say, but they definitely make him look kind of buff, like he's been working out. He didn't want the extra attention drawn there.
Taehyung seems to only now notice them at all. "Woah! Are you already producing milk?" He reached a hand forward and cupped one of Jimin's pecks.
Instantly, the older swatted his hand away. "Really Taehyung!?" He grumbled at his friend's rotten antics. "Please don't touch me like that again, it's weird and it hurts!"
Taehyung giggled, knowing fully well that he is a professional at annoying the other male. "Okay, okay. Sorry. But if you insist on wearing a lame hoodie, at least wear the cute maroon one and put a little eyeshadow on."
"Alright, fine." Jimin groaned.
----------
There was smoke wafting thick and heavy throughout the air. You would think there was a smoke machine running. Classic red Solo cups and glass bottles littered almost every surface, including the filthy hard wood floors. The crowd was thick with people grinding on one another, making out in different corners throughout the house, and groups of friends huddled together, making it impossible to pass through walk ways.
Jimin followed behind the younger couple, with Seokjin taking up the caboose behind him. The four of them tried to squeeze their ways through the chaotic crowd around them, but it wasn't proving to be easy. Jimin isn't sure how many bodies he's bumped into.
Jimin was feeling pretty claustrophobic if he was being honest. The many smells of beer, weed, and sweat were nauseating him. This was not a good idea.
I mean, really? Who brings a pregnant person to this kind of shit show? Jimin thought with an eye roll. Taehyung does, I guess.
When the quad finally made it to the kitchen inside this crazy house, the younger two instantly filled up cups full of any booze they could get their hands on, stirring up dangerous concoctions of vodka, rum, and juice.
Jimin wasn't a huge partier, but whenever he'd get the chance to drink, he has learned that he has quite the alcohol tolerance. There have been multiple occasions where he'd get shit faced, only to have Taehyung or Yoongi drag him home. It was weird to not be able to enjoy a drink out with his friends, but that's his new chosen life. He won't get to drink for a long time.
The pregnant male found an open barstool and claimed it, letting his little legs dangle. Seokjin followed close by, protectively almost, and took the seat next to him. Jimin was thankful that Jin had quickly agreed to tag along. He needed someone else to be sober with him. Being the only sober one was never a good time.
"So, I though you didn't really go to parties anymore?" the older queried, leaning in closer to the smaller to be able to hear him above all the rambunctious party goers and the thumping base.
"This was Taehyung's idea. He thinks I need to have more fun, but nothing about this is all that appealing to me." Jimin shrugged. The pair looked over to where Jungkook and Taehyung were already joining a group in a game of beer pong. "I just want to stay in this spot for the rest of the night." Jimin huffed.
"Well, I'll keep you company, and we can keep watch on those two idiots. We won't let them do anything too stupid. Deal?" Seokjin suggested, winking at the younger.
Taehyung and Jungkook were laughable to watch. Everything that was expected to happen at a cliche college party, happened for them. They went from classic beer pong, to dirty dancing on the living room dance floor, to sloppily making out in a not so discreet corner.
"I am disgusted." Jin stated with a face of horror, looking away as the couple attacked each other's faces.
"Before too long we'll need to call it a night for them if they keep this up. We've only been here about an hour." Jimin checked his watch as Jin nodded in agreement.
At some point, more and more people started gathering around the kitchen. It was becoming awfully crowded in there to the point where even though Jin and Jimin sat next to one another, they still had trouble hearing the other speak. They also didn't have a good view of the younger couple anymore. They wouldn't be able to tell if the two ran off somewhere or not.
Jin scooted his seat closer to the smaller to where their thighs were touching. Although the oldest hyung liked the idea of being this close to his crush, the situation just wasn't ideal.
A drunken college male accidentally spilled half of his drink on Jimin's shirt and leggings, when reaching across the counter, most likely in search for more alcohol. Jimin yelped in surprise as the cold alcoholic concoction soaked his clothing and invaded his nose with a horrendously strong smell. The young male gagged, covering his mouth with his hands, trying to keep the bile rising down. Fortunately he was able to keep control of it before he ended up blowing chunks all over this random kitchen. Now that would be embarrassing in front of all these random people.
Jin finally seemed to notice the entire scene, and instantly turned towards the culprit in frustration. "Dude! Watch what you're doing! You just spilled your drink all over my friend!" He sneered.
"Calm down man. It's not that big-" the drunken boy halted his sentence after he made eye contact with the attractive older male. "Well, hello... are you hear with anyone? If not, we could find some place private and-"
"Please stop talking to me." Seokjin deadpanned. Jimin let out and obnoxious snort before the strange male, thankfully, disappeared inside the crowd without another word.
This was proving to be an interesting night already.
----------
"Hyung, I honestly don't understand how it took you literally 2 hours to pick out your outfit, when all you're wearing are your ripped jeans and a plain white t-shirt" Hoseok whined.
"It's called stalling, Hobi. You know I am not thrilled to be here." The blonde patted Hoseok's shoulder before stepping outside of the car.
"Well, now we're some of the last people showing up. I mean, I'm all for being fashionably late, but come on hyung. It's already midnight." Namjoon groaned as the three trekked up to the house.
There were several people already passed out in the yard, but the group ignored it, used to this scene already, as they made their way inside.
Yup, Yoongi has seen all of this before. It was the typical house party. Why Hoseok believed that this would be enjoyable for him, Yoongi had no idea. He'd much rather be locked away to dive back into his song writing.
As they squeezed through what little passage ways there were, Yoongi shouted, "Let's hurry and find the beer because there's no way I'm getting through tonight sober."
They followed the oldest as they headed toward the kitchen, where they believed all of the alcohol would be. As they made it past the door frame that connected the living area to the kitchen, Yoongi saw his fluffy poof of brown hair, a flash of his bright smile, and the way his tiny hands covered his face when he giggles. There he was.
The blonde male froze in his place, unable to take his eyes away from how the younger fell over into the person next to him as he laughed so hysterically charming. He didn't even see who was sitting next to him because he doesn't care. He just can't look away. The younger male was absolutely glowing.
Oh, how he's missed how his eyes formed into crescent moons and his cheeks looked like red apples when he smiled so wide. He's missed being able to laugh so cheerfully alongside him. He's never missed anyone as much as he misses Jimin right now.
"Yoongi?"
He's pretty sure that's Hoseok behind him, trying to get his attention, but honestly, his voice is so muffled. Right now, above all the racket inside the damned house, all he can hear is his childhood friend's addictive laughter. He wonders what might've been said to make him laugh so hard. The blonde knows he's been able to make the younger laugh that uncontrollably on more than a few occassions, but man it feels so good to see it again right now.
This is what he's wanted. He wants Jimin to be happy.
"Earth to Yoongi?" Hoseok called out again, but with a little more volume, probably confused as to why his hyung has stopped in the middle of the doorway.
At this, the younger brunette snapped his head up in their direction. He made eye contact with the blonde, and his face went numb. All laughter and joy was sucked out of him in an instant, almost replaced by a look of fear. His eyebrows furrowed and you could tell he was frozen in place, unable to take his eyes away either.
"Yoongi?"
A voice called out, but this time it wasn't his roomate. This was a female a voice, a very recognizable, obnoxious, female voice.
Kang Sera, shoved herself between people, to cling onto Yoongi's arm like a koala. The blonde groaned, looking toward her with pure annoyance. She was cleary trashed as she squished her boobs against him. "Yoongi~ bear, you~ came!" she slurred her words.
Yoongi's jaw tightened as he tried to shake her off him. In this moment, he really can't see why he ever found her attractive.
When he was finally able to shake her loose, he looked back to where the bar stools were, to find Jimin's seat empty. He stood on his tip-toes to try to spot that fluff of light brown hair, but he couldn't catch a glimpse of him anywhere.
He was gone.
----------
Namjoon took one more shot before he slammed the shot glass down on the counter. This was it. He was going to take all his friends' advice and ask the oldest hyung on a date.
They were right. How would he ever stand a chance if he's never willing to truly put himself out there. Yes, his feelings have been blatantly obvious for quite some time, but he's never once seriously asked Jin out. Namjoon was always too intimidated by Kim Seokjin's beauty, but realistically, the worst he can do is say no.
The mentioned, tall brunette was sitting by himself at the kitchen bar, looking befuddled as he seemed to be searching for something or someone. The bar stool next to him was open, so the junior made his move.
He slid into the seat with two drinks in hand, sliding one over to the older. Seokjin glanced at the cup for a moment, but his gaze went back to the crowds of college students. "Hey hyung, are you looking for someone?" Namjoon wondered.
"Yeah, have you seen Jimin? He was here just a moment ago" Jin's tone seemed concerned.
Ah Jimin, that's who Seokjin was looking for. Of course, he was. According to Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jungkook, the oldest friend was apparently infatuated with the petite male. Namjoon gritted his teeth at the thought. He wonders if Jin may possibly know about Jimin's secret.
"Honestly, I haven't" Namjoon spoke dismissively. "Listen hyung, can I ask you something real fast? I've been wanting to talk to you alone for a while now."
"Sure Joonie, what's up?" the older asked without taking his focus off the crowd.
Namjoon cleared his throat. "Maybe we should go somewhere more private for this."
Seokjin bit his lip, a little unsure about leaving his spot. He's hoping that Jimin just left to use the restroom real fast, and may be back any moment. He doesn't want to be gone when the other returns.
"Please?" Namjoon begged. His eyes had an almost desperate spark to them, so he couldn't say no.
He followed the younger to the backyard garden, the only place on the property that wasn't swarmed with people.
Seokjin stood in front of Namjoon, hoping the younger would hurry and get to the point. He didn't want to be away for too long. "Namjoon what's-"
"I'm just going to get straight to the point because if I don't just come out and say it now, I don't know if I'll ever have the guts to" Namjoon rushed out. The alcohol gave him a little boost of confidence. "I like you, Kim Seokjin, and I have for a long time now. I think you've always known, but I've never came out and said it you like you deserved. I-I think you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen."
The older's eyes widened in shock, but he let the taller continue. "I know I'm not perfect. I'm clumsy, messy, and can be a little irresponsible, but I can be a smart, sweet guy. I would always treat you well. I would always make sure you were cared for. I would put your needs before my own." Namjoon's face was hot from how hard he was blushing.
"I guess what I'm getting at is, Jin hyung, will go out with me?"
The older blinked a few times as his face was expressionless. He was stunned to say the least. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Namjoonie, I c-can't."
Well, that stung. "Why n-not?"
"I-I just can't." That's all Seokjin could say.
"Because of Jimin?" Namjoon didn't beat around the bush. He knew.
"W-what?"
Namjoon isn't sure what snapped inside him. Maybe it's the alcohol talking, but he was angry. It pissed him off, and he couldn't hold back. "Apparently, everyone has been able to see it, hyung. It's obvious that you love him." Namjoon chuckled in amusement, not sure why he wanted to blurt this out. "It's funny really, how you choose to chase around a man that's carrying someone else's baby. It's pathetic."
Jin's eyebrow's furrowed, and he crossed his arms in front of his chest. He was pissed. "What are you even talking about? You're drunk, Namjoon."
"I may have had a few drinks, but I'm not making shit up, hyung" Namjoon sneered. "Jimin is pregnant... and it's Yoongi's baby."
"I don't believe you." Jin cut in, not understanding why the younger was being this way. Everything he was saying was absurd.
Namjoon raised his eyebrows. "Don't believe me? Why don't you ask him?"
