Jimin opened the door to "A Bun in the Oven", Jin's parent's bakery. He rolled his eyes at the ironic name of the place. Today, was his first day at work.
After Seokjin had basically begged his parents to hire the younger, he was offered a job. He didn't hesitate to fill out all the paperwork and was ready to start whenever. Jimin knew that it wasn't going to be easy juggling school, a job, and dealing with his current pregnancy, but a little more financial stability would be helpful.
He walked into the breakroom and found a good corner to set his things down. The breakroom was small, yet comfortable. It had a small table up against the wall with a couple chairs surrounding it. There was a mini refridgerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a comfy couch that'll be calling Jimin's name on his breaks.
Seokjin's mother entered the room as he tied his apron around his waist. "Hello Jimin-ah!" she said with a sweet grin. Jin's mother is definitely where the oldest hyung of the group gets his good looks. She's tall and slim. She has a her long dark hair pulled back into a low bun. Her facial features resemble Jin's. Jimin has met her several times before now and she has always been pleasant.
"Hello, Mrs. Kim!" Jimin said with a slight bow.
"So your job here will be pretty simple," she informed. "You will be in charge of the counter mainly. You will check people out at the register, serve drinks, and occassionally help me ice treats" she smiled. "Mr. Kim and I do most of the baking, but Seokjin also helps us some."

Jin's suspicions were correct. The customers loved Jimin, and he was a natural at the job. Even though it sometimes would take him a while to figure something out on the register or to remember the entire bakery menu, the customers never seemed to mind because the young male was so charming. Anytime he'd make a mistake, the customers would forgive him as soon as they saw his precious eye smile.
Seokjin watched the younger from across the store, while wiping down tables. Today was the most he had seen Jimin genuinely smile in so long. It was so refreshing and beautiful. The older was glad that Jimin decided to work with him. Now he'd be able to see him more often.
Jin's been meaning to make his move, but the thought still makes him nervous. He's scared of his advances being rejected. It's not very common for a male carrier to fall in love with another male carrier, so Jin is unique.
You don't see many couples consisting of two male carriers because they can't start a family of their own. Jin knows this, but if he had Jimin, he wouldn't care. He would be all he ever needed.

Jimin walked down the hallway after class, cradling a couple of his books in his arms, quietly whistling. He's had a pretty good day so far. His morning sickness hasn't been as bad today, which is a huge win in his book, and he got an A on last weeks English exam.
He's feeling good, but it can never be that simple.
Just as he's about to round the corner, someone grabs the back of his shirt and pulls him backwards. "Ahh!" he shrieks in shock. He's trying to turn himself around to see who has a hold on him, but his methods are proving to be unsuccessful. Whoever this is, is pulling him behind them, forcing him to walk backwards awkwardly. He's trying not to trip over his own feet.
Finally this confusing and slightly terrifying journey comes to an end, as he was dragged into an empty classroom with the door shut behind him. He turns around and is very surprised to be seeing her of all people standing there with her arms crossed. She was about the same height as him, making them eye level to each other. She wasn't alone either, two of her friends sat on a couple desks in the corner of the room. This was really starting to feel like a cliche high school movie, which is absolutely ridiculous since their in college. Yet Jimin still couldn't help but be dairly intimidated by her piercing gaze.
"Sera?" he questioned. "What's wrong?"
"That's a joke, right?" she let out a scoff of disbelief.
Jimin's eyebrows furrowed. He genuinely had no idea what was happening. "No?"
"You see, Yoongi has been really distant lately. He acts bored when he's around me, which has never been the case between us. He's always chased after me like a sad little puppy," she paused for a moment and checked her fingernails, keeping her other arm crossed in front of her chest. "I think you have been in his ear telling him bad things about me."
Jimin's eyebrows furrowed further, but he let her continue.
"I know you love him, Jimin. It's pretty obvious to everyone... except Yoongi. You're always staring with heart eyes and I'm pretty sick of it. I know that you're the one that's driving him away from me."
It's true that before everything happened, Jimin did try to snap some sense into his best friend and tell him how horrible Sera was, but it's been about a month since he's spoken to Yoongi. Last time he saw Sera and Yoongi in the hallway, they appeared to be doing just fine. He is completely confused by her accusation. "I have no idea what you're talking about. I could care less what happens between you two. And I haven't spoken to him for a while, so it's not because of me." he snarled.
"Bullshit!" she shouted.
Jimin was tired of this, he was telling her the truth. As he turned to leave, he said, "I'm sorry that Yoongi isn't letting you sink your claws into him as deep, but I can assure you that it has nothing to do with me."
Sera pulled Jimin's shoulder back, catching him off guard. "You're not going anywhere right now. I'm not done," she sneered. "Stay away from Yoongi."
She tightened her grip on his shoulder. "Sera, stop. Let go," he growled.
"I mean it Jimin, I don't want to see you around him. I don't want you to look at him" she started shaking, her anger getting the best of her. "It's all your fault Yoongi isn't the same!"
Jimin was having a hard time holding back now because everything the girl was saying was absolutely ridiculous. Of course, Jimin tried to get Yoongi to leave Kang Sera a while back because she's a raging, nasty bitch, but the blonde would never listen to him anyway. Jimin had nothing to do with any of this, and he couldn't stand to put up with her antics anymore.
"Sera, have you ever thought that maybe he just doesn't like you anymore? Why would he?" he sneered. "You're selfish, and you only care about your reputation on campus. Even if you look like a whore, you love the attention it brings you. You've always pushed Yoongi around, so maybe he's finally sick of it. Stop pointing the finger at me, and point it at yourself. You're the problem."
Suddenly, his cheek was struck with a burning sensation. It took him a moment to comprehend that he had just been slapped. The girls in the corner finally looked up, amused by what just happened. He could tell his cheek was turning bright red because the girl didn't hold back. It stung quite a bit. Jimin's eyes widened, and they started to water.
Jimin wasn't sure why he even bothered saying any of that. He didn't know why he was sticking up for Yoongi because he knows the older doesn't deserve it, but Jimin just can't help it when it comes to him. He's not over him.
"You think I'm a bitch, then fine. I'll act like one" the girl huffed. "Stay away from Min Yoongi or you'll regret it." The girl stormed off, her two little minions following behind her.
As if he didn't want to be around Yoongi before, now he definitely didn't, not with Kang Sera on his case. The last thing he needed right now was to be harrassed by Sera and her followers.
He paused for a moment, and slid down on his knees onto the floor. He didn't have any motivation to get up at the moment. He just let his tears fall.
Why was all of this happening to him?
~~~~~~~~~~
Sooo... I know his last part was super cliche, but I really just see Sera's character as the ultimate bitch character, so I was letting her fulfill that. Jimin has it pretty rough right now, right??
Things will get better for him before too long, I promise!
Thank you for reading. Please vote, comment, and let me know what you think! Love you all!
