Yeosang is an unpresented wolf leading the members to believe he's human and so do not include him in the packs business outside of their idol lives.

Protector- choi jongho, alpha, choi san, alpha
Pack members - jung Wooyoung, omega, song mingi, beta, jeong yunho, beta.

Betas can get pregnant and impregnate, usually they are killed off or sold when presented luckily they had amazing parents. Betas usually cannot get a job.

Today was a day off for the members of ateez. Yeosang was all alone in his shared room while everyone else was having pack game day which usually occurs whenever they have free days, Yeosang would rarely be invited but on the off chance he was he felt awkward because he would rarely get a chance to talk and would only play his turn.

He wasn't stupid he knew about the second genders and knew he was meant to be one himself but his scent hadn't changed and he was now 21 well past the age of presenting. He felt ashamed of himself for not presenting nor being in a pack as those are the two main purposes of a wolves instincts.

His parents were ecstatic when he got into kq thinking he'd be apart of a pack but he wasn't and he feels like he's faile them. Having not presented can cause issues for himself and for those around him.

He was desperate to find out his second gender, too much so he doesn't care about what he is but his hopes are running thin as the years go by. It's a rare case when a wolf doesn't present and can be narrowed down to the affects of trauma but Yeosang wasn't traumatised over anything so he nor his parents understand what's going on with his body. Apparently there's only been one other case like his and it was a women. She became sought after by many die to her high rise in fertility. She could get pregnant just by precome but Yeosang thought since he was a guy it wouldn't be the same. Unfortunately the women had died after three months due to her body trying to contain the atrocias amount of fertility and eggs and she was literally eaten from the inside out.

Yeosang thought it was fake because he didn't understand how its possible but his fear rose the longer he didn't present and he truly hoped he didn't face the same fate as that women.

He sat in his room staring at the walls having spent the past few hours scrolling through YouTube and finding nothing to cure his boredom. The members were always kind to him so he wasn't afraid to get up and ask to join he just as said before felt awkward and like he didn't belong with them because he was unpresented. They didn't put any restrictive rules on him when they were spending time together nor did they control him. He'd usually just sit and watch them acting invisible when it was pack game day/night.

Speaking of sitting, the position he was in was making him hungry and so he decided if he couldn't cure his boredom in his room he'd go grab something small to eat as seonghwa nor wooyoung are available to cook for him.

The members did treat him well and he never felt threatened around the alphas whenever he comes in contact with the omegas as they believed he wasn't a threat. Which worked in his favour, he's allowed to cuddle and hug with his longtime friend.

He got up and headed out his room and approached the kitchen, light on his feet.
He passed the living room with the members and entered the kitchen busying about trying to find something to eat that wouldn't need to be cooked. Unfortunately, there was no snacks and only a note saying all snacks were stored away to stop people eating them all in one go. He huffed and closed the cupboard doors heading into the fridge and not seeing anything other than, other members food and drinks and some stuff that seonghwa has kept for all the members despite not having enough time reguallry to cook.

Since there was nothing he could eat he pouted and walked out the kitchen with his stomach hurting from the small amount of hunger having messed up his internal eating clock on all the snacks he eats in the day.

He shuffled out of the large kitchen and passed the front room slowly as he continued pouting. Thi caught the attention of the other members who had taken a break from playing their game. Seonghwa instantly got up and stopped the younger male.

"sangie what's wrong?" Seonghwa asked softly and Yeosang sighed and turned around to face the luna.

"im hungry but there's no snacks" Yeosang mumbled and seonghwa chuckled, you could have just asked me to mak you something, I wouldn't have refused." Seonghwa said and Yeosang sighed." but you were playing games with your pack I wouldn't want to intrude. "Yeosang said and felt warm, he thought he was just embarrassed but seonghwa thought otherwise.

" sangue why has your scent changed, did you shower? " Seonghwa asked confused but Yeosang shook his head and looked confused.

" I don't know maybe I'm coming down with something" Yeosang nonchalantly said. Seonhghwa didn't believe it one bit but he didn't pry.
"alright come to the living room, I'll make you something quick to eat." Seonghwa said and Yeosang obeyed heading towards seonghwa and entering the open door.

He got the attention of the other members and they also had a confused face on but Yeosang was too hungry to care. He rubbed his stomach and sighed throwing himself on the couch and watching the rest of the members continue the game a little more stiffly.

Yeosang was too oblivious to notice and sighed, his head was next to jonghos neck and upper back and he felt safe and calm and relaxed. Jongho smelt amazing to him and lulled him to sleep even though he didn't need to sleep.

The darkness swam around his eyes as he waited to fall asleep fully but just as he was a second from falling into a deep sleep, he was shook awake by seonghwa who had a plate in hand of a BLT and some berries.

"here Yeosang, it's quick and easy for you then you can go to sleep if you want we don't mind you being here." Seonghwa said and Yeosang yawned and looked to the others who nodded in agreement and he nodded in return. He sat himself up legs now a few centimeters from jonghos side and his torso a few centimeters from seonghwa who sat next I him with the food. Yeosang gently grabbed the sandwich and started eating slowly.

His eyes fluttered shut the more he inhaled jonghos scent and he didn't care he was insanely comfortable next to the maknae and he was to out of it to notice this is the first time he's able to smell the members scents.

San was a mix of mirkwood and brass.
Wooyoung of daisies and chocolate.
Seonghwas of chocolate coated strawberries.
Hongjoongs of lilac and morning dew.
Yunhos of freshly fallen snow.
Jonghos of chocolate and lemon.
Mingis of sandlewood and wine.

He finished the sandwich fairly slow and moved onto the fruits and berries seonghwa had placed on them and put on the table next to the board games. The other members occasionally grabbing some.

Yeosang was slowly relaxing more and more and realised he couldn't keep a firm grip on the ppalte so he passed it to seonghwa who grabbed the empty plate and led down on the couch again falling into a deeper sleep.

(pov switch to the other members)

As Yeosang was sleeping the other members watched him cuddle deeper into the arm of the chair and hugging himself.
"when he's in a deeper sleep someone should take him to his room" Seonghwa said and the others nodded.
Seonghwa would do it himself but he had to clean up knowing the others wouldn't.

He got up and left into the kitchen to wash the plate and returned with dried hands and a soft smile.
"hyung why has his scent changed?" yunho asked seonghwa and the older just shrugged. "I'm not sure, I asked him before but he said he hasn't showered and then I realised we only have unscented soap and toiletries. He said he might be coming down with something but I don't believe him. But if it's true then we must keep an eye on him." Seonghwa explained and yunho nodded.

" but hyung he's not sick" jongho spoke up shocking everyone.
"how do you know?" hongjoong asked.
"when he was lead down before you gave him the sandwich I could smell heat on him" jongho explained making everyone even more shocked.

"I don't think he's human" mingi spoke up as well now everyone turned to him.
"and how?" Seonghwa asked briefly.
"well think about it, everytime we don't do something with him he gets pouty and moody but hides it behind his smarmy remarks. And when he cuddles with you omegas and yunho he seems contempt as an omega would around other omegas. He also reacts to commands from hongjoong more than a human would as if he's subconsciously affected by his alpha voice. And get this he's only really comfortable around the only unmated Alpha" mingi finished off with a stare to jongho. The realisation tumbled over everyone instantly and they cursed. "shit then he's presenting?!" wooyoung said and mingi nodded.
"that makes sense I always wondered why Yeosang didn't have any wolf scent when his parents are clearly wolves, an alpha and beta. I just thought maybe it skipped him as his younger brother had presented at the normal age but I didn't think Yeosang could be that type of wolf. "wooyoung panicked and wheazed for breathe, San calmed him down with a hug.

" what do you mean wooyoung? "San asked as he continued calming his mate down.
" there's a story me and Yeosang grew up with since our parents expected us to be omegas due to our personalities and habits, but I didnt think it was real I only thought it was a story. But theres a women who presented late and had a high rate of fertility that even a single drop of precome could inpregnate her but she died from her body eating her alive as it tried to get all the nutrients for the excessive amount if eggs and her body just couldn't take it she died three months after presenting. I don't want sangue to die!!? "wooyoung explained in his panicked state bursting into tears.

" we don't know he's like that he could just be a late bloomer those are very common with trauma. "hongjoong said but wooyoung shook his head.
" no you don't get it he never had any trauma not even when his favourite teddie was shredded to bits by a stray dog thinking it was food he just sat watching it before pouting and walking away. "wooyoung said his breathing got more labored and san let pheromones enter wooyoungs nostrils.

However this caused Yeosang to stir and groan before shifting into a more comfortable position and shaking as sweat slipped down his arms. And his stomach clenched. San cursed and immediately stopped releasing them but kept wooyoung in his arms.

Seonghwa bit his lip and approached Yeosangs sleeping form and rubbed Yeosangs stomach softly causing Yeosang to sigh and smile in his sleep as his body relaxed.

"you were right mingi" Seonghwa said a stressed look on his face.
"what do we do?" jongho piped up.
"we can't do anything without a nest but we don't have enough things to make one and every omega likes different scents and materials." Seonghwa explained as Yeosangs scent grew stronger and peaked with arousal, he was definately an omega.

"jongho your gonna have to leave the room for a bit because your unmated, we don't want any accidents." hongjoong said and jongho nodded and rushed out the door and towards the extra spare room. He decided he'd stay while Yeosang finishes his presenting.

Seonghwa continued to rub Yeosangs stomach to give him the most comfort possible on the rough couch. The rest of the members busied themselves cleaning and grabbing whatever seonghwa told them too.

"mingi place the blankets under his neck and lower back, it'll keep his body comfortable as it goes through the stages. Yunho can you keep his fever down?. Great hongjoong please tell the managers, San and Wooyoung can you make some soup for when he wakes up he won't be able to stomach anything more, I'm suprised he could keep the BLT and berries down.

I'll keep rubbing his stomach because it'll help. " Seonghwa said instantly taking the lead.

The members did as told and quickly retreated trying not to make Yeosang uncomfortable.
Yeosangs face started to squish as a wave of pain attacked him and he yelped and his eyes shot open, he had heavy breathing and had no recollection of his surroundings or who these people were as his eyes grew blurry.

He scrunched up his face again as another wave of pain hit him in his skull. A soft hand made its way up there and softly rubbed at the sore spots allowing Yeosang to relax for a second.

"how long will he be like this?" mingi asked and seonghwa sighed.
"an hour or two maybe, that's usually what happens and omegas first heat is short and painful as the body adjusts to the influx of hormones and production of eggs as well. Since he is male he won't have any swelling like a fenale omega but we need to make sure he can breath properly as subconsciously presenting omegas hold their breath to try ease the pain. To avoid that having something rubbing his neck or body will keep his breathing normal, but not every omega is lucky enough to break out of the presenting faze. "Seonghwa explained to the awe of mingi, yunho and the alphas.

San crushed wooyoung in a tighter hug at the reveal and kissed his cheek softly which wooyoung returned with a grateful smile.

The hours pass and Yeosang is still in the heat gaze making seonghwa panic. It had been four hours since he entered it and Yeosang had passed out so yunho kept rubbing his neck to keep him breathing.

Another hour passed and finally Yeosang broke out of it and everyone collapsed with a sigh. Towels and water bowls were scattered along with blankets and fruit.

Yeosang fell into a soft sleep hugging onto the closest thing which was hongjoong and rubbed his neck into his stomach as a pup would. Seonghwa chuckled as hongjoong blushed.
"it seems we have a new pup" Seonghwa said with a grin causing an eye roll to be received.

" what do you mean?" wooyoung spoke and seonghwa grinned.
"Yeosang has just marked hongjoong and recognised him as his father, which in turn makes me the mother" he said making everyone laugh at hongjoongs predicament.

They waited a little longer for yeosang to wake up. Once he was they said their hellos and smiled.
Yeosang felt lighter and felt a small pain in his head.

"what happened?" he whispered and seonghwa smiled and crouched down.
"you just presented" he said and Yeosang grinned and sighed in relief.
"finally" he said yawning although the two knew they were s ill shocked at the sudden change.

"so are you OK? You were presenting for a very long time" hongjoong said and yeosang nods softly.

"well this means you can officially be a part of our pack" Seonghwa said rubbing Yeosangs hand.
"officially?" Yeosang asked and seonghwa nodded.
"we all agreed that you'd be apart of our pack but not to the extent of the others. We all enjoy your prescense" hongjoong explained. Yeosang nodded.

"well let's go get jongho" Seonghwa said and the other members who had been forgotten within those few moments all got up and called jongho down in a mess of yells and screams.

Soon enough jongho came down the stairs and greeted Yeosang who nodded with a smile. Wooyoung took his time to rack his brain around what hfaooened after he calmed from his histerics before launching himself into Yeosangs arms and squeezing him hard.

"please don't end up like the story" he begged and Yeosang hugged him and nodded into his shoulder.
"I won't woo" Yeosang said kissing his forehead.

"well let's all get some rest from all this stress I'll make dinner after our naps." Seonghwa said and everyone cheered in agreement, usually they can't take day time naps because it messes with their sleeping schedule making it hard on them in their work but some are just left alone on a very exhausting day.

Yeosang assumed wooyoung wasn't going to getup so he easily picked up wooyoung and headed to his room. He shared with jongho and Wooyoung and luckily Yeosang trusted jongho with his life and isn't gonna force him to leave the room.

He got into bed cuddling with wooyoung and the two fell asleep snuggled in the blankets.

Time skip three months later.

As Yeosang said nothing happened to him as the story described to the relief of wooyoung and so he was a lot less tense and spent more time with San then he did during the time after Yeosang presented.

It was now the forth month and everything was going well only Yeosang was jealous.
It's typical for omegas to get jealous of friends who had mates because omegas subconsciously compete with each other to create the best and most desirable pets in a way like man-made selection. It was never something vicious just opted to havr deep drags of jealousy and petty moods.

Yeosang wasn't jealous because of this though he was just jealous because he was the only member without a partner, jongho had gotten a sweet beta orat least he thinks she's sweet, Yeosangs had to shut the door in her face many times with her demanding to know where jongho was when schedules happened or when he had an off day and just wanted to be alone.

He was sick of her voice but knew he couldn't do anything with him being an omega and she a beta even though they are in similar rankings and social acceptance.

Withing days her clinginess just got worse and with Yeosang feeling the stress of his first official heat which corresponds to the rest of the omegas heats so they have them all at the same time. He was increasingly annoyed and she just made it worse.

The heat creeped up on him slowly as he waited and soon he needed to hide away in a nest, all the omegas made a nest in the first month having decided to spend Yeosangs first Heat with each other as without an alpha hell be in lots of pain but with another omega in heat they cancel each other out making it more bearable with a little more sensitivity.
A few days passed with his heat and he was back to normal.

His jealousy ran deeper the more he surrounded everyone and they acted lovey dovey but he kept it hidden because he was in his dream job.

Most things are harder to smother so it was always there. Yeosang was in the first stage of omeganhood. Wanting to lay claim on the only unmated alpha in his vasinity.

He was going to get what he wanted.......eventually.
