Yeosang hides that he is an omega from his band members causing them to be awful towards him until they find out he's an omega through a heat. After his heat is over  the band treat him nicely, Yeosang easily forgives them.

Yeosang was a member of one of the most popular rookie groups in Korea. In their society many people are part of another class called the omegaverse.

It's where people have the instincts and properties of an alpha/beta or omega depending on what animal they are linked to.

Yeosang just so happens to be an omega but hides it and pretends to be a beta. He uses suppressants for his smell and heat.

He joined the group because he loved dancing and singing and knew he had a better chance of finding his mate since omegas sense them before they see them. However, he has not sensed them yet.

He usually followed a routine to comfort himself when it's outside of his idol duties. His routine changed every day and only repeated when another week starts.

And today was Thursday, however they were to be out until 2am meaning he had a form of discomfort as he could not follow his routine.

They were practicing for the last time for their next comback and later on they will be going to an interview, a Photoshoot, a meal with cameras and before they head home they have to shop on vlive for groceries showing atiny their normal lives.

Yeosang and seonghwa were in charge of picking the groceries they needed while everyone else got junk food and made them two pay for it. Yeosang'll be honest they never really treat him right because he's a 'beta' and useless to the population but he pulled through knowing they did not know about his real second gender.

They wouldn't physically harm him or abuse him in any way they just made him do all the chores and all the dirty work. He didn't mind since he was an omega and they were expected to act that way and he believed that stereotype so he enjoyed the punishment rather than hate it.

He smiled as he started shopping a giggly feeling in his stomach as he looked over the many meats and spices. Seonghwa was by his side grinning and picking out only the best. The omegas never really harmed Yeosang they just ignored him but he didn't care, what he did care about was the alphas and jongho being mad at him.

Oh yeah jongho has not presented yet so he doesn't have the instincts yet. His birthday was a week away and they had plenty of time to prepare a ceremony that every omegaverse member goes through.

It consists of a small circle of alphas omegas and betas, usually the unpresented family and friends. In jonghos case it would be the members of ateez and the staff that are betas.

When they circle him jonghos body will do one of three things.
When presenting as an alpha, his eyes get a red shine.
When presenting as a beta, nothing will change or happen.
When presenting as an omega he would go through his first heat that was nothing compared to the official fertilise heat.

Fertilise heat affects the body and mind in a positive way making them needy and horny for a week to a month depending on the age and stature of the omega

A presenting heat would be discomfort in the nether regions causing the body to sweat and release pheromones that are not hormonal, simply they become flushed and everyone no matter the rank can smell the heat.

And a heat that is once a year which has been deemed the dangerous heat occurs as said once a year, this heat is ually fatal fir an omega who mates during it, they will get pregnant during this time as a normal heat however they will die once the pups are born, so a main rule is to not mate at all during this heat to spare the lives of the omega. If an omega dies from this heat the omegas mate also dies with them from heartache and pain till they commit.

So Yeosang decided to be happy no matter what he was even though he wanted the male to be an alpha so he can see if he is his mate.

He had started liking the male specifically from fan service, jonghos seems to be more touchy and loving when he's around Yeosang and Yeosang took that to heart and started falling for the male despite having a mate out there but he didn't care if he had to betray his alpha he would be happy to drop the alpha for jongho if he so asked.

Yeosang knew he could possibly kill someone that way but he wanted jongho all to himself without the mates being in the way.

Back to grocery shopping, Yeosang snook off to buy cake mix ingredients so he can handmade the cake himself, despite probably being forced to buy one from a store. He wanted to wake early so he can make the cake.

Once he returned to the others he was forced to carry the bags. It wasn't like they were heavy he was deemed the second strongest member of the group for a reason.

As they were getting into the van to get back to the dorm Yeosang fell asleep only to be shook roughly when he landed on someone's shoulder. The disgusted face he made showed that Yeosang was in trouble and will most likely get punished tonight.

He sighed Internally and stayed silent.  They reached the Dorm a few minutes after and Yeosang was forced to go last and get everything put away before making dinner with seonghwa, who willingly helped him learn cooking.

Once everything was put away he started making today's meal of spaghetti bolognese because they got everything they needed.

First he started with the sauce before moving onto the pasta. Afterwards he seasoned the sauce and plated it with the help of seonghwa.

He didn't plate one for himself because he was not allowed to eat before getting punished to be sure not to throw up, he would eat the left overs once everyone left.

Once everyone had arrived and dug in it was chaotic. Everyone was talking or laughing except Yeosang he was staying silent as he had learned to do over the past few years.

Finally, it was time for his punishment so the omegas lead jongho out the room at his confusion

Mingi, San and hongjoong stood side by side ready to punish him. Hongjoong looked livid, mingi was twitching in guilt and San was looking away from him with a pained face.

As he was watching them, he felt a sudden pain on his cheek he had been slapped. His eyes widened and grabbed his stinging face. This is the first time he's ever been hit and honestly it makes him want to cry.

"you know the rules Yeosang and so you know you should not look anywhere but your knees when we are in the car. Your lowlife being makes me sick" hongjoong said with a growl.

Mingi and San looked shocked they thought they were just gonna yell at him and leave but suddenly he's being hit. They wanted no part of that but were scared of hongjoong when he's mad.

They simply watched knowing if they intervene they would be punished as well. The guilt on their faces was tremendous and they didn't even do anything. Yeosang just stared at the ground in fear and shock.

He gulped before looking up spotting the apologising faces of mingi and San and the now calm hongjoong. He just bowed and headed to his room.

Jongho was there and greeted Yeosang, not seeing the large red mark on the older mes face.

Yeosang decided he wouldn't eat tonight which always happens when he gets punished which is every few days sometimes for valid reasons while others for nothing.

He fell right asleep and jongho watched the male with a small smile before shaking his head. He had to hide his feelings in case he is not Yeosangs mate. He so desperately wanted to because he was head over heals in love with the male. He knows the male is an omega because he had seen the suppressants and scent blocking tablets but never mentioned that he knew to the older male because he wanted to be on Yeosangs good side.

As he watched the older male sleep his brain started ratting for ideas on how to make Yeosang his but he pushed that off thinking it was because of his prepresenting phase and love for the older male.

Prepresenting phase: a week before the person presents they start getting urges and thoughts daily.
These urges are usually from sexual frustration or coming of age. And these thoughts can range from many things, they can be desires of a lower rank or higher rank. These urges can also be the urge to gather clothes in one spot and scent it.

Jongho simply turned off his phone and fell asleep as well.

1 week later***

Yeosangs punishments got worse and worse until jonghos birthday.
The male was presenting today and was scared, he didnt know what he will be and the fear of turning out like a beta is high. Since there are more betas than omegas in the world.

Omegas are usually sold to a breeding factory or killed off, or has a mate.

The first signs of jonghos coming was early morning. Yeosang could smell his pheromones getting stronger and more commanding it took everything in himself not to submit to the male not that he's complaining he enjoys submitting to a stronger person. (😊)

The day goes by the same as usual until Yeosang brings out the cake he made early this morning. Yeosang walked towards jongho with the cake shifting at the strong scent of pheromones but easily got through the birthday congrats session.

When the cake was cut and eaten, they returned to dance practice before heading home for the ritual.

Everyone and a few staff members stood in a circle around jongho and simply looked at him. Jongho was confused but didn't move. As soon as six pm hit jongho showed the first signs of presenting. He is pheromones got stronger and his body started to heat up then he started to sweat.

If his scent was sweet that's a sign of being an omega, if his eyes turned red and he gained a bit of muscle he would be an alpha and beta is out of the option because his pheromones picked up meaning he was either of the other two.

It was a long process that could take up to an hour so everyone patiently waited. The betas stepped back a little including Yeosang to keep up his image. Since he was presenting now he had to match up to either scent while also having the 'symptoms'.

The first signs showed when he matched up to sans scent and his eyes turned red, he was a lowerclass alpha meaning he did a lot of fighting and protecting in the pack.

Everyone grinned as jongho cooled down after presenting. They pat him on the back and congratulated him. Yeosang stayed back watching jongho with a smile. Jongho simply stared back with a sad face now that he could sense all of Yeosangs injuries and his real class and as he said before he was an omega.

Jongho was conflicted, his heart raged to hold Yeosang in his arms while his body wanted to rip everyone to shreds, he thought this was only happening since Yeosang was unmated and he had been hit on multiple occasions.

Once the circle diminished, jongho was moved out of Yeosangs room switching with yunho who roomed with san after being mated to mingi.

When an omega and alpha have mated they have no desires for other omegas or alphas at all making both loyal to their courtship.

Jongho now shared with san who was told to teach jongho everything he needs to know. This happened for a few weeks and Yeosangs punishments didn't let up.

During one lesson about omegas and betas, jongho asked a question that froze sans heart.

"omegas and betas are the Lower class, omegas should be protected and cared for as they are the future to our kind. While betas are useless, they cannot birth a child nor can they get an omega pregnant, many are sold to a slaughter house in the less humane packs and societies. While here they get jobs of low class or if they do something an alpha likes they will give them a higher job like Yeosang. When your rut starts make sure you have an omega because they are the future, but if you have a beta just use them as you see fit, they cant do anytgning against an alphas rut, many die from rough intercourse which is actually accepted all over the world, if they do die alphas are protected by special laws that stop them from getting arrested by the humans. Since we live in unity with them. " san explained and jongho sighed.

" so basically Yeosang is gonna be used as a whore when he's an omega? " jongho subtly asked and San clicked his tongue.

" tch he ain't an omega he's a beta. This isn't my views but the social hierarchy that chooses their treatment if one is kind to a beta they can be found thousands of won and stripped of any title they have. Its the social norm that we have no choice but to follow. " san said with a heavy heart" but anyway Yeosang is a beta, he doesn't have heats or ruts. " san finalised and jongho stared at him weirdly.

" then why does he have small white bottles of pills in his room? " jongho said surely stopping sans heart.

" what? " san said eyes wide and heart  dropping," how do you know? " san asked gulping nervously.

"he would always have them in the morning and night when I shared a room with him, he would only tell me they were medicine when I asked so I didn't question further. But then last lesson about an omegas heat came up and you talked about the exact same bottle of pills so I was a little confused " jongho said with his face scrunched in confusion.

" do betas also use those pills? " jongho asked and San sighed.
" no they don't only omegas, if what you say is true then he should be having his heat soon, because pack heats always sync up to the oldest omega, that being seonghwa.

The others are due to have a heat this week, and it's the biggest one an omega will have so if Yeosang is an omega he will have this heat no matter what even if he took the pills.

This heat happens once a year and is the most painful were an omega needs an alpha to get through it because the pain can cause them delerium. It can also cause omegas to beg an alpha for their knot but if they get knotted they would most likely die. " san explained and jonghos eyes widened.

" what do you mean? " jongho asked and San shook his head.

" this heat that's due this week is the heat were an omegas body readied themselves for a litter of pups which can be any amount but is usually no more than 3. If they are knotted during this heat the omega will become pregnant and be in constant pain especially in the hips and spine. If they get knotted an omega may possibly die from the pain a knot brings as it is amplified by 10 than a usually dull pain in a normal heat. " san explained and jongho nodded. They quickly moved on and San was agitated the whole time wanting to see if jongho was right but he knew he should be patient.

Jongho took in all the information and stored it in his important file. He constantly checked on it to make sure he didn't get something wrong.

After the lesson was over, jongho sighed and headed to the kitchen spotting Yeosang cooking again. Seeing how the unknown omega is treated makes his heart clench for an unknown reason.

A few days past and jonghos lessons get more Indepth, he finally was taught about mates and everything important when it comes to said mate.

This was also the time when seonghwa went into this strong heat. Next yunho started his heat about 3 hours after seonghwa, then woououng 5 hours after seonghwa and finally Yeosang 9 hours after seonghwa.

Every alpha attended to their omega before Yeosang went into heat, however when he did, the alphas walked towards the fourth scent confused besides jongho and San whose eyes widened in realisation.

Jongho was right.

Yeosang was an omega.

These thoughts crossed sans mind the entire walk to Yeosangs room. When they opened the door they saw Yeosangs face clenched and sweating like mad.

The pheromones in the room were revolting to every one but jongho and when he clarified that after his band members started gagging they pushed him in the room.

"he's your mate take care of him the way I told you too" san said before they all left the room and shut the door.

Jongho fidgeted nervously watching Yeosang for a second before Yeosang looked towards him with a flushed and seductive expression on his face.

Jongho bit his lip as Yeosang whined for him. Jongho wouldn't be touching Yeosang innapropriately during this heat as he was told. He would simply help the male by getting food, a cold cloth to help with the fever, soft pats and rubs to help the pain before letting Yeosang go through it.

It was a long three hours before Yeosang was calmed to the point he could sleep easily. Jongho cuddled the male as he was sleeping to help the male from any fear he may have.

Once the heat ended jongho sat down and sighed in relief, thankfully this was once a year and only lasted a few hours. He was clueless the majority of the time, and he had to ignore the constant need to fuck Yeosang raw until he passed out from exhaustion and oversensitivity.

Once Yeosang started waking up he kenw he was in big trouble when he saw jongho laid besides him. His breathing picked up and fear started leaking through his pheromones and everyone in the Dorm rushed to him, slamming the door open only to see Yeosang cowering in a corner.

Yeosang stared at them with such fear it broke their hearts. Seongwha was the first to act as he rushed towards Yeosang to get him to calm down..

"sshh calm down Yeosang you're OK, can you tell me why your so afraid, did jongho do something to you?" seonghwa asked and Yeosang shook his head.

"n no I I'm s scared I I will g get p punished f for sleeping n next to an a alpha." Yeosang said still not aware of what really happened as his mind had a blank spot after jonghos presenting and waking up.

"why" seonghwa asked and Yeosang shivered before looking to the mated alphas who gulped in fear. But Yeosang protected them.

"b because I I'm a b beta." Yeosang said.

"oh honey your not a beta your an omega." wooyoung said and Yeosangs eyed widened.

"Y Y you k know?" he asked panicked.

"yeah why" yunho asked and Yeosang started crying, causing everyone to panic and jongho wake up as he sensed his mates fear.

Yeosang didn't answer yunho and just curled up into himself further. Jongho rushed forward frantically and looked to San for advice.

"comfort him" san mouthed and jongho subtly nodded before moving to Yeosangs side.

He started stroking the males head and spoke softly to him.
Finally Yeosang calmed down after about 10 minutes and answered yunho.

"I thought I was a mistake because I had never met another omega before, the only ones I've seen are the ones being abused on TV, so I thought that would happen to me. When I met you guys and seeing yunho, Wooyoung and seonghwa always tired I thought what I saw on TV was true. I thought that I told you guys I'm an omega you would hate me for being forced into your pack. So I said I was a beta so I didn't seem like an important person and I took in the opportunity to become something else. However, I didn't realise being a beta was worse then being an omega." Yeosang said and seonghwa hummed.

" whys that? " seonghwa asked and Yeosang gulped.
" they were always mistreated because they couldn't have children or get someone pregnant, I thought that it was better than being an omega, so I got my mother to buy me suppressants so I can hide my real role from you." Yeosang explained and everyone nodded. Once everything processed Yeosangs eyes widened.

" eh? Why am I being so honest? " Yeosang questioned making mingi grin.

" when your near your mate, at around 5 metres you are always forced to tell the truth, it's the same with alphas however they can find a way to lie though most prefer to be truthful to not cause any issues. Get used to it, you'll start saying some very awkward shit" mingi explained with a grin causing yunho to blush and smack his arm and beg him to keep quiet.

"like what?" Yeosang  asked and mingis grin widened and everyone groaned.

"you will tell all your little secrets, if asked you will tell everyone about your preferences during sex, etcetera you won't have an ounce of secrecy if someone asks you an embarrassing question, you'll say the truth no matter what" mingi said ad Yeosang face contorted to horror. Yeosang quickly scuttled away from jongho and kept his mouth shut making everyone laugh and tease him making his blush.

"shut up I'm embarrassed, I don't want jongho to know everything I think about him." Yeosang said before his eyes widened and he slapped his hand over his mouth and whined.

"why does God hate me" Yeosang said embarrassed to the point he was crying.

The laughing fit stopped after a while and finally everyone was on common ground with each other and Yeosang and jongho started dating rather than jumping straight into the mating like yunho and mingi did as well as woououng and San. Who were not ashamed of it, they gladly flaunt it whenever they see fit.

All their fans was told of the change and everyone accepted them. Yeosangs face was never once ever filled with fear again.

He loved what he had and felt no need to feel inferior or in fear.

He loved his new family and hoped soon they were given the go ahead for pups, he really wanted some.
