Yeosang is a famous ice skater simply for his looks, in an abusive relationship as well makes his self esteem and performance drop.

"Next on the ice we have Kang Yeosang, he went viral for his extreme good looks as of yet he has shown no exemplary skills or performances on the ice. His nickname is ice King. Can you believe it Fred, this singular person who has above average looks has a high fanbase, I'm not impressed but we gotta start somewhere right? " the commenter gossiped and Yeosang squeezed his fists and bit his lip. It's not like he has a choice to have low performance he just can't handle the pressure that's being forced upon him.

" you better get a good score or your pretty little body will be black and blue when you get home. Oh and Yeosang honey make sure not to hurt that pretty face of yours it's your only charming point" his boyfriend said in his ear as he back hugged him.

Yeosang tensed and nodded before sighing under his breath and heading to the ice he removed his jacket and revealed his outfit.

He skated onto the ice and started his routine. He didn't give much facial expression because he was more worried about the pressure.

Once he's finished he bows to the crowd and leaves the ice. They weren't that impressed (pretend). He could definitely tell people were berating him for using chopin saying he was disgracing it.

He shakes his head and looks up at the kiss or cry booth and sits down ready for his score.

He stared at his score with a dull facial expression but inside he was happy. The competition continued until it was tome to go home.

He got changed and headed to the parking lot hoping his boyfriend was there as usual he wasn't so Yeosang took out his phone and checked the time.

02:30 am

It was late because the performances got stalled a lot so they went on longer than they should. Yeosang sighed and put his phone in his hoodie and grabbed his mask from the hood pocket. Placing it on he walked to his hotel.

Luckily, it was nearby so it didn't take long. Once he arrived he saw his boyfriend passed out on the couch surrounded by crisp packets.

He rolled his eyes and sighed heading into his room deciding not to eat dinner. He passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

When he woke up it was to a harsh shove. He ended up sprawled on the cold floor. He looked to the bed and saw his boyfriend. Sighing he got up and headed to the kitchen to get a small snack he didn't feel hungry at the moment.

After eating the snack he checked the time and saw it was pretty late in the day around 2pm. He shrugged before going to the living room and switching on the news. The recordings should be released now so he can see a play bavk on his.

"Kang Yeosang, young aspiring skater is presumed to be in an abusive relationship, his boyfriend whose name we shall not expose was overheard threatening the poor 20 year old just before Yeosang took to the ice. From our sources all seven of them seem to each coincide with one another making this subject an undergoing matter. Today at four pm we shall see Yeosang here to practice there we should be able to question him hoping he complies.

If this is true this could be the reason his performances are lack luster. He probably fears every second of his performance and such amount of pressure can affect productivity. Until then the performances have been released online. They are ready to be watched and loved. "  the commenter said before the performances started.

Yeosangs face paled and he hoped he doesn't hear about it.
As the performances start he ponders over the possible people who could have heard. His boyfriend isn't the brightest of them all but surely if he truly did intend this to happen what will happen next Yeosang wants out of the life he currently lives in so he was going to take this to his advantage. He bit his lip before rushing upstairs to grab his skating bag and some water from the fridge before leaving the hotel room. What he didn't expect was the array of reporters clicking photos every second and filming.

Yeosang just stands awkwardly with wide eyes and bows before running towards the rink. He looses the paparazzi giving himself enough time to enter the rink and locker rooms.

He puts on his skates before grabbing his wallet and fishing out the price for his practice. He didn't have a manager besides his boyfriend who plays that role so he pays for it and heads onto the ice.

Other skaters are there practicing. Yeosang first starts with stretches before going onto the ice.

He gets earpods and his phone out before starting his routine for his short program. He sees people watching him it's a group of seven boys who seem to be good friends.

He starts to get self conscious while performing his jumps causing him to trip and fall onto his knees. His shirt flew up showing a bit of bruised skin from a few days ago before he pulled it down and stood back up starting his program all over again.

At four, the commenter from earlier walked in and waved to Yeosang. He gulped before nodding back and he approached her by the wall.

"can i help you miss?" he asked kind and shyly. The women was gobsmacked for a second at his complete difference before smiling to him.

"I would like to ask you some questions about the case I mentioned earlier if you watched it" at Yeosangs nod she smiled wider.

"good good OK let's go somewhere quiet to talk OK?" she asked and Yeosang nodded.

He got off the ice and removed his skates placing them by his bag before following the women to a large windowed room facing the rink.

"can you tell me if the sources are correct and do you mind if we film this live?" she asked and Yeosang hesitated before nodding.

The women nodded to her camera man and the interview started..
"Here I have Kang yeosang as promised the poor boy is a litte shy so I won't pressure him. It turns out the sources are in fact correct. A while ago Yeosang got distracted or self conscious and fell from his triple axel only to reveal a copious amount of bruises all of which are days old, these bruises are in placed even falling on the ice is incapable of reaching.

OK so first off, Yeosang how long have you been in this relation ship?" she said talking to the camera before holding the mic to him.

" about four years now" yeosnag answered slowly fidgeting on his seat.

"why didn't you get someone involved?"

"if he found out I told someone he would beat me and..... Touch... Me, I'm probably in danger telling you this but I'm incapable of lying or holding a secret." yeosnag said hesitantly.

"very well, let's talk about your performance productivity, is that a result of the situation?" she asked kindly. Yeosang froze before looking down and nodding.

"he's my manager as well as my boyfriend were close in age him being three years older, at first it was business then we just hit it off and got together, it was fine for about a year and a half but when he found my old competition performances he would berate me and threaten me. Saying I only have my face to bargain with for points. He continued until he got to were It is now. Every minute before I go on stage he threatens me and I'm normally a very emotional person and I felt like was fearing for my life. I always tried my best but the fear overcame my productivity and I became the laughing stock of ice skaters. I don't think he ever meant for people to hear but I'm glad they did because maybe I can finally be free of this torture. " Yeosang explained and the women gave an encouraging smile.

" thank you now let's see what your fans want to know. Aha! OK this person asked: how long have you been skating for? "

" I've been skating for maybe eight years now competitively but ice skating is my escape from stress even before that." Yeosang answered with a small smile.

" Yeosang, because of this situation, will you be making a comeback in the free program in a few days?"

" definitely, thanks to those sources I can finally escape that hell, I'm sure he's been handle as we speak. "

"Yeosang will you meet the sources?"

"I hope so but even if I don't I know they'll have heard my thanks"

"Yeosang give your all in the free program OK? Also do you have any pets?"

"thank you and no I don't have any pets yet but I want to get a dog."

"OK final question: Yeosang do you dream to perform in the Olympics?"

"oh I've been given an invitation many times but he always denied them without me knowing until I get an email of confirmation of my refusal. But I hope one day I'll finally be able to go and hopefully apologise to the organisers for the countless times I've caused issues. "

" alright thank you for your time Yeosang well let you go back to your practice, as for the sources they are those seven on the left end of the rink. "the women said with a cheeky smile.

Yeosang thanked her and said a goodbye to his fans and the women before heading back onto the ice with his skates tied.

He started towards the seven men who watched him approach with grins on their faces.

He got to them and stopped in front of them. He smiled at them and thanked him.

"no problem, but I know one thing you can do to thank us easier"

"what is it?" Yeosang asked with childish curiosity.

"we are going to the Olympics this year to do a special performance and we just so happened to be one person short of the mandatory amount do you think you can join us?" one of them asked and Yeosang grinned and nodded his head. Everyone laughed and Introduced themselves.

Days of practice and performing past and finally it was his free program, with the help of his new seven friends he changed the entire choreo to fit his style better than what he had done previously. Yeosang was more expressive. Though he'd had a little trouble landing the jumps because of his poor balance.

"next up kang yeosang, after everything that's gone down I'm surprised he's still competing. No longer having a manager hes going to struggle with things but let's see what he's planned out for us today" the commenter said hyping up the crowd. Yeosang took a deep breath before skating onto the rink.

Jaws were dropped and cheers were exchanged as Yeosang finished what he deemed his personal best

He headed of the rink towards the booth and waited for his score. Whe he saw the score his eyes lit up like a child's on Christmas and he only just was sane enough to feel seven people wrap their arms around his body as tears streamed down his happy face.

Yeosang sniffed and wiped his eyes before going towards the stands on the rinks, he had gotten gold for his performance despite his little struggles which he saved by not touching the floor.

On the second place booth stood seonghwa who had a huge grin on his face as he joined Yeosang. In third place was yunho, jongho and San. Forth was mingi because he goofed off to much and froze a little to take a breather, fifth was wooyoung because he got points deducted because his performance was to sexual. Hongjoong was seventh because he fell too many times and was tested positive for lack of sleep which made all seven of his friends groan and complain making hongjoong just sheepishly chuckle.

After getting their medals the eight friends headed off the rink together and sat in the bleachers until they were told to clear out by the staff. Once they excited the venue, they came face to face with a police officer who smiled and greeted them.

"I'm assuming your kang yeosang?" the officer asked and at Yeosangs nod the officer grinned wider.

"well I'd like to let you know we got him and he is now on his way to jail until he is shipped back to his home country for a life imprisonment." the police officer said and once everyone cheered the police officer bowed and drove away.

The boys all wet to a restaurant to celebrate their win and along the way they met with some happy fans.

Once they ate they went to their hotels only to meet in their next rink.

A year later and here the boys are ready to go on the ice for their special performance.

"that skater was just a little off on their last turn that'll deduct points.

Moving on, next we have a special performance asked specifically for by the organisers. These boys will be familiar to you all. This is ateez."

The commenter said and the lights switched off, the boys headed onto the rink and got into position with the few seconds they have before start they double checked their mics.

The spotlights switched on showing ateez in their position. And after a few seconds cheers erupted as they recognised the members.

The live was a hit. Comments flooded in about the group both good and bad.

'omg is that Yeosang? He looks so good!'

'this is an ice skating competition! Not a clown house!'

'how are they doing all that on the ice without stumbling. 😵😲'

'we Stan f*cking talent, these boys are not only amazing skater but they can sing and dance too, haa I need to sit down'

"that was answer, performed here live by ateez, the members: Kim hongjoong, Park seonghwa, jeong Yunho, kang yeosang, choi san, song mingi, jung wooyoung and choi jongho. This special performance will be one for the history books." the commenter said.

Roses and presents were falling onto the ice for the boys and the boys skated their way off of the stage ready to change for their individual performances.

" after a short break we will move on to individual performances first up Kang yeosang, let's see if he can score this one as well."

He scored silver (pretend) because of the falls and stumbles but he was happy.

Suprisingly mingi, yunho and seonghwa won gold this time.
San, hongjoong and Wooyoung joint second with Yeosang and jongho and two other skaters got joint third. Jongho was only doing this for the fun and thrill he didnt care what he got as long as he got what he was happy with.

Everyone cheered for them and they got hundreds of new fans from across the globe. The compliments drowned out the hate and every new fan was always informed about Yeosangs and the others' past issues that affected their performances.

They were merged under the name ateez after their performance and they continued to do special performances for each Olympics for starting the skating competition.

Yeosang found a family he could depend on and fans who believed in him for once he no longer feared for his life and the backlash. He was carefree.

They all went on to win multiple medals and scored a few record deals using all their music ever created curtesy of hongjoong.

They became a sensational phenomenon and massive need for them became the highlight of the market.

Their lives were beautiful but harsh however that didn't bother them since they had each other.
