Yena's POV

"To commemorate your arrival, I propose a reverent ceremony at dawn" Tzekel-kan suggests to the gods.

"Ah, then perhaps I could prepare a glorious feast for you tonight" father suggests.

"Which would you prefer?" Tzekel-kan asks them.

"Both?" Miguel asks Tulio.

"Both" Tulio confirms.

"Both" they tell Tzekel-kan and my father.

"Both is good" Miguel says with a smile.

"My lords" my father says bowing his head as he leaves.

"My lords" Tzekel-kan says bowing as he follows my father.

"Hey" Miguel says smiling brightly at Tulio.

"Hey hey" Tulio says smiling also. Miguel laughs, tapping Tulio, then they laugh, then the horse walks into the water happily.

"Tulio. They actually think we're gods" Miguel laughs.

"It's an entire city of suckers" Tulio laughs and I glare at him. Chel and I enter the room unnoticed by the pair. But the horse does. "We just have to keep this up long enough, to load up on the gold and then get the hell out of here" he states. I share a look with Chel.

"Tulio, we'll be living like kings!" Miguel brags.

"Miguel and Tulio!" Tulio yells.

"Tulio and Miguel! Mighty and powerful..." Miguel begins.

"Gods" they say together.

"Hello" Chel and I say together. They both gasp jumping onto a chairs. Chel and I giggle.

"Depart, mortal, before we strike you with a lightning bolt" Tulio says pointing at us and I roll my eyes at him. Taking the golden head from Chel.

"Beware the wrath of the gods! Begone!" Miguel says and makes a clicking noise. I giggle.

"Save it for the high priest, honey. You're going to need it" Chel tells them.

"True" I agree with her as I put the head back into it's rightful place. "There like it never happen" I say with a smile.

"Miguel, it's not working" Tulio tells his friend. Who continues to make clicking sounds. "Miguel! We've been caught" he says and Miguel stops.

"Oh, no. Don't worry about me, boys. My only wish is to serve the gods. Remember?" Chel says.

"You believe in all powerful gods as much as I do" I state. "But of course, we can help you" I tell the men. Smiling sweetly a Miguel.

"How?" Tulio asks us.

"Well, if you guys want the gold, then you don't want to get caught, right? You're going to need our help" Chel tells them.

"That's right, of course we could just tell everyone the truth" I tell them.

"What makes you think we need your guys help?" Miguel asks and I smirk approaching him.

"Ck-ck" I say teasingly. "Are you serious?" I ask him smirking. The horse whines in laughter. "Who is this handsome fellow?" I ask him.

"Altivo" Miguel answers. "I... What... We... Okay. So, uh, who are you? I mean I know your the chief's daughter" he states.

"Yeah, uh, what's your guys angle?" Tulio asks us.

"No angle, we want in" Chel tells them and I nod my head in agreement.

"In?" Tulio asks.

"On the scam" we tell them. Tulio chuckles nervously.

"There's no scam! Why would you think there's a... why?" he asks us.

"So that we can get out" Chel states.

"Explore the world" I say smiling.

"I thought they just said they wanted in?" Miguel asks Tulio confused.

"They want in so they can get out" Tulio clarifies as h jumps off of the chair.

"Ah, got it" Miguel says smiling as he jumps off of the chair. "Why?" he asks us.

"Think you're the only ones who dream of better things? Of adventure? You've got your reasons, and I've got mine" Chel tells them.

"My whole life I've been treated like a princess and trained to take over after my father. I want to know want it's like to be free" I state.

"Let's not make it personal, okay? It's just business" Chel tells them smiling sweetly. She wraps her arms around them and I give her a look. "So when you guys are ready to go back to wherever you cam from, we're going with you" she tells them.

"No! Don't think so" Tulio says as they laugh. He removes Chel's arm from his shoulders. Miguel does the same. Chel and I share a look smirking.

"All right. Fine. After all, I'm sure you know the proper rituals for blessing a tribute, the holiest days on the calendar" I say as I head for the door.

"Oh, and of course you know all about Xibalba" Chel says sweetly pinching Tulio's chin. Smirking at him. "Okay? Good luck" she says as we chuckle heading for the door together.

"See you at the execution" we say together waving at them.

"Wait! Ho... Would you... Hold it" Tulio says and we look at them.

"Deal?" I ask holding my hand out.

"Deal" Miguel says going to shake my hand. Tulio stops him.

"Not yet. Let's just see how this works out" he says smiling at Chel.

"Uh-huh. Well, then I suppose that means you'll want these back?" she asks. Holding up two red cubes with white dots no them.

"How'd you get those?" he demands taking them back.

"Where was she keeping them?" Miguel asks shocked.

"Call me Chel" she tells them as she goes to get them a change of clothes.

"And me Yena, your new partners" I add.

"Uh, that's partner-in-training" Tulio tells us.

"Now put these on. Your public's waiting" Chel tells them and sits down. After handing them the clothes.

"Well I'll leave you with Chel and see you at the feast shortly" I tell them as Miguel removes his shirt. I blush lightly and leave the temple. I head down to see the feast prepared. "Looks wonderful father" I tell him.

"Thank you Yena, where were you?" he asks me.

"With Chel" I tell him. She soon joins us. "How'd it go?" I ask.

"Well" she says smirking. I giggle. Just then everyone goes silent and I notice Miguel & Tulio at the top of the stairs.
