Shehnaaz sit on bed and after seeing pics goes down the memory lane .

Sana pov

It was a new day of session 1990 - 1991 .
I got promoted to 11th std
With highest marks and topped the class, it was a beautiful and exciting to seen my name on topper 's board like every year .

In one month i have excelled in studies like before .

My school st xavier's high school was one of the topmost schools of amritsar and my little paradise were i enjoy my life to fullest, with my best friend Jasmine, who was my bbf since kindergarden and my cousin shefali.

But who knew that after few weeks, my this little paradise will have one more member for whom i will end up doing things which i never did in last 15 yrs of my life .

Me and shefali entred our respective classes, there i saw Jasmine waiting for me
Outside the classroom draged me into corner and started opening her hair .

I got shocked seeing her new hair cut as it was not comman for girls to get there hair cut acc to there wish .

Step cut Madhuri dixit type,i exclaimed.

Jasmine smiled and said yes i just got it cut yesterday.
And you know that guy diljeet .

Who diljeet ?

The guy in my society who looks like anil kapoor, after seeing me started singing, kaha do ke tum ho meri varna ..

Quite we are getting late for classes lets go .

While walking towards class i asked her does aunty know about it .

But Jasmine said no but i will hide it with a hairband,why not you also get yourself a haircut as well .

Have you lost your brain, if taiji came know about this than she will definitely kill me and bela chachi will be like -
Both in unison-oho sana kata ge bal yehni kuwa chala hansa ke chal and started laughing 😂

After we reach the class we found rashmi and devoleena our classmates outside the classroom and heard rashmi bosting about her wealth.

My father has four mines of peals says rashmi

After listening to that Jasmine started laughing and i said mines are of diamonds and not of peals

And entered the class saying that .

And that's my class all students talking and cerping around,boys discussing about cricket, having snacks and girls talking about film stars.

Then entered our class teacher shanti mam and we all got back to our banches.

Good morning mam said students in unison.

Shanti mam - Good morning everyone pls have your seats and open your mathematics book and today's topic is trigonometry.

Shanti mam has made a subject like mathematics interesting for everyone especially boys not because she just beautiful but is perfect example of beauty with brain as she as teaches it very well .

Shanti mam announced that test we had last week today we gone discuss about it results.

After listening that everyone including Jasmine started to pray.

What is benefit of praying to wahagure now ,you must have studied that time .

Shanti mam - and student who have topped the class this time ,
after listening to that i almost stood up but mam intruped and said
Its not you shehnaaz this time but that student who topped the class is vishal aditya singh.

After listening his name everyone including me got shocked for a while but karan started laughing and mocking me ,bringing everyone out of shock.

Shanti mam after listening that told everyone to be silent and then asked me to collect the sheet.

After i collected the sheet ,she started calling every student to collect their sheets.

I came back to seat and started rechecking my sheet with hope of getting faultand also found one and then called shanti mam .

Mam can you pls recheck my sheet because in one question which was of four marks you only gave me three and my answer is also correct can you pls check it .

After knowing that shanti mam again rechecked the sheet and said that mistake which was done has been rectified and as always shehnaaz has again topped the class .

Here i was dieing for even one mark but there was someone 1000 km away from me in bombay who care two flying f** about these things, who was quite similar to me and also different from in st.xavier's high, fort

There we see one guy was one edge of balcony crossing it while other was standing one other side .

Edge of balcony was narrow and first guy was crossing it slowly as there was no support, when guy just reached the middle of that balcony a student who was playing football in school ground spotted him and said to there sports teacher .

Sir look there he is performing stunt .

And when teacher spotted him he and student's in ground started to call him out loudly and asked him to come down as it was dangerous as there was no support and if he loose the balance he might get injured badly.

Because of voices boy almost get disbalanced but he again
got his balance back and slowly with trembling legs crossed the edge and climed back and started doing his victory dance .

That 's sidharth shukla the name which i never knew will become my world one day .

Here his sports teacher and his classmates neither scolded him but gave him a look and went back to practice but principal sir spotted him and asked him and his friend suraj to come in his office.

In office

Sidharth my child why you always pull this kind of stunts ,which are dangerous for your life ,will you care to explain me ?

Sid - sir it was all my fault, suraj has nothing to do with it sir i am very sorry for that .

Saying that he and his friend suraj bend there necks down.

Principal- sidharth my child i always let go your mistakes although many times even teacher have complained about you doing pranks on them but i always and sometimes even teacher's let that go because your are a asset of our school as you are an all rounder and have made our school proud on many occasions by winning sports, literature, arts competitions and even topper at state level but today you crossed all the limits of mischief as that stunt which you pulled off was life threatening , so now it high time to put a full stop on your this behavior for that i have call both of yours parents for same .

With sad look principal started to find there details, and sidharth started to feel guilty

He said sir pls it's not suraj fault pls don't call his parents as i was the one who started all this mischief pls sir.😔

Sana pov

Suraj desai who tried to stop principal but couldn't due to swear given by sidharth while they were coming to office that if he speak one word in front of principal he will lose him forever as a friend ,but didn't knew that he will lose his friend very next moment and sidharth took all the blame on him and his this nature made him topper in exam of life and relationship.

When principal found the number and was about to dial sidharth parents number, a peon came to him and said
sir sidharth shukla 's parents and grandfather and Erica fernandes 's mother have come to meet you .( i know st.xavier's high school fort is all boys school ,but its a ff to take like one )

Principal says call them inside and also call Erica from her class ,peon nodded his head and went out .

Sidharth who was standing inside office became curious then started thinking 🤔

Sidharth thoughts

Why have mom ,dad and dadu and rose bua came here in school is every thing ok

he was lost in his thoughts but was pulled out of it by voice of Erica who was asking for permission to principal to enter his office.

Erica-may i come in sir ?

Principal- yes you may

Erica- good afternoon sir

Principal - good afternoon Erica now you may wait for a while in a corner till i come back on you.

Erica nodded and when she turned around she found sidharth and his friend suraj standing there ,she came near sidharth and asked him
Is everything ok montu

Sidharth- every thing is ok eri ( her nickname from which only sidharth call him )

Eri - then why are you in office, don't tell me you again pulled another stunt right 😡

Before sid could give a reply his dadu ,parents and rose bua entered the cabin and Erica get shocked seeing her nanu ,mama ,mami and mom in and before she could ask
Principal sir said

Good afternoon mr. Shukla
Mr and mrs shukla and miss fernandes how can i help you ?

dad shukla - good afternoon sir we have come here to request you to grant tc's ( transfer certificate) for sidharth and eric from st.xavier's high school fort to st.xavier's high school amritsar, as we are shifting there.

Principal- is there any problem sir ?

Mom shukla - there no problem in here sir just due to some business problems we are shifting from bombay to amritsar.

Rose bua - and sir i am there secretary so i also have to move with them .

Dadu shukla - and we can't leave kids here so pls can you .

Principal sir- why not sir i will grant them there tc's after formalities.

Rose aunty gives a file to principal sir with all the paper work like letters from parents and other stuff.

After examining the papers principal sir asked when you want tc

Dad shukla - can we get it just now as we have to leave by 4pm today so can you pls .

After listening this principal sir asked a peon to get tc's from administrative wing and asked there parents to sit outside, while both Erica and sidharth was numb with thought that they have to leave this school in which they have spend 9 yrs of there life ,while running in corriedoor's ,gossiping around and representing it and winning prizes for this school.

After peon got them principal sir filled full details of erica and sidharth personally and then signed the tc's and called both sidharth and Erica forward and said i never thought it would be last time i an gone scold you for your mischievs sidharth and today is last day of school for both of you and i just want to say all the best to both of you for your bright future and hope you make your new school teacher's and principal proud like you both always made us .

It shocked both of them 😲

After seeing there shocked expressions principal sir started laughing and said i know i never praised you both especially sidharth on my occasions but that was need of situation because if i would have praised you then i might have looked quite partial towards you as you were alway leader of team, so now i just want to say always keep smiling and make a good name for your self hope we meet each other someday .

After listening to that sidharth and Erica wiped there tears which was falling from there eyes and said
Sidharth- sir we promise you to make you all proud and keep smiling.
Erica - and sir we promise you that we will meet soon

Saying both looked at each other and ingulfed there cute and healthy principal yogender vashiste whom all students use to call mr. Teddy bear vashiste with love and yogi when in anger.

After getting that hug from both of them principal sir got shocked but then smiled and wrapped his arms around them and prayed from god for bright future of his these two students.

After sometime they came out of hug and teddy bear vashiste said that i again wish you both good luck and hope you both have a bright future and pls before going collect your remaining certificates and pls cross check your locker's ok.

Sid and erica - ok sir and touch his feet and moved out of cabine .

This all scene was witnessed by peon shankar ,parents of sidharth and Erica who was delighted to see how much there kid's are loved by principal and one more person whose presence in cabin was long forgotten and was numb for while after getting information that his bestfriend is leaving the school forever and he left the cabin as soon as sidharth and Erica left the cabin and went towards there lockers and he told this to his classmates and this news spread in school like a wild fire ,and the person who has ignited this fire was non other than suraj.

After getting the news many people were happy ,some people pretend to be sad like sidharth 's so called ex girlfriend shefali jeriwala and arti singh,who use to pretend to be sidharth gf in school as he was popular kid in school, so fear of losing that popularity as sid's gf made her cry and same goes with Erica 's ex boyfriend Rohan but some people were genuinely sad with thought that they would not be able to meet sidharth again.

When sidharth came back from locker room to his classroom to take his bag and say a bye to them he found his class empty and found a card on his desk with a beautiful yellow rose ,he picked that up and decided to read it after Packing his bag .

After he did that he started reading the card and found its hand writing familiar after reading that he looked around in class and then went to back door and pulled out a girl from back of it.
The girl was non other than pratyusha banerjee his only female bestfriend in school after Erica .they know each other from 4th grade and became friends as this school was new for her and with passage of time they became friends although sid always considered her as his friend but pratyusha always had a special feeling for him but due to fear of losing him as a friend as well she never expressed her feelings for him ,but today when she came to know that sidharth is going from school and she will not be able to see him ,she finally decided to express that today .

Shehnaaz pov
Although i use to envy her when i come to know about her from sidharth but still feel bad for her as well after meeting her,lets talk about this some other time ,

Pov ends

Sidharth-why were you hiding there pryu .
Pryu - sidharth i want to say something to you before you leave this school pls lisen me .

Sid - how do you came to know about this ?
Pryu - it doesn't matter pls listen to me pls .

Sid - ok

Pryu - sid we knew each other from about 6 yrs now and i she got nervous

Sid - and what pyru

Pryu took a deep breath and said and i l.

Before she could complete sidharth saw there class teacher varsha mam and his classmates coming inside with a chat hoading which contains his pics on it which together make sentence we will miss you sid.

Seeing that he got emotional and forgot that he was talking to pratyusha and left her there and moved towards his classmates and teacher.

Varsha mam gave him a gift and he took her blessings and she says while keeping her hand on his head god blessyou sidharth and you may have a bright future ahead.

Sidharth stood straight and nodded his head and after that all his classmates bombarded him with farewell gifts.

After he got free from others he moved towards his bestfriend's suraj ,abhimanu and karthik and engulfed them in hug and promised them that he will remain in touch with them via calls .

After saying them bye he moved to pratyusha and said you were saying something na pls continue .

Pryu took a deep breath and said so as i was saying we know each other from last 4 yrs now and you have always considered me as a friend which was fine for me but till the time when i realized that i lov ..

Before she could complete again she got intruped by peon who was said by principal to call sidharth as his parents where waiting for him .

So when he heard that he requested peon to take is bag and other stuff and asked permission from his class teacher for last time to let him take pratyusha out ,which she allowed.

Then he took her out then asked her to continue but after knowing that it finally time has come of sidharth get going she decides to bare her true feelings inside her and said to sidharth that till the time i realized that i like you but with time i realized thst i always liked you but just as a friend only and today you are going to leave this school and start a new life in other city hope you have a bright future and all the best .

After listening that sidharth took her into a hug and thank her for her best wishes. He than came out of hug and bid her a aude and went towards principal office where his parents and Erica were waiting for him .

When pratyusha saw him leaving, she started shedding tears of helpness as she let herself broke her heart into pieces by not telling sidharth about her feelings.

On otherside sidharth reached office and met principal for one last time and seat in his car and wavyed a last bye to his school and classmates and teachers with hope of meeting them again soon .

In punjab amritsar.

After my last class i was leaving my school for coming again tomorrow while on other side sidharth left his school permanently we both have tears in our eyes , i had them because i am gone leave my little paradise but still had hope to come back it tomorrow , while he had it because he had left the place which always had a special place in his life he is going to leave his teachers and friends there and has a fear of going into new city and school. Even today when he talks about his that school he gets emotional why not he will be he spend 9 yrs in that school but never the less on that day i never knew that guy is going to entry my life and a new chapter of our life will begin.

Guys meet rose frenandes
Uff rose bua as addressed by sid , neetu and preeti . She works a secretary for ashoka and rita shukla and is a divorce and single parent who raised Erica with full grace and her rakhi brother ashoka shukla , her sister inlaw rita and her dad jayparkash is her strength as she had became orphan at age of 19 after losing her mother to serious illness and had lost her father in her childhood .
