At 8 in the night, Nandini gains her consciousness. She looked around and found herself in the place where she fainted. She walked to her apartment where there were six flats but all were empty with no watchman for the safety.

She went to kitchen and after drinking a glass of water she went to the other room in her flat to talk to someone.

She peeked inside and looked for the person, smiling when she found that person she went inside and said, "Sorry! Sorry! I know I'm late! And before you start firing me up with your questions I'm telling you everything! So I'm late because I had a workshop and yes I had my lunch in canteen. I didn't went to shop today and before you'll remind I know that it's last leave for this month otherwise I'll be thrown out from this awesome work waitress. And I looking red then I'll tell you a secret! I'm in love so its blush! Haha! Okay! Don't give these looks I know that was a bad joke! Actually! Umm..! Today in college we had practice for sports competition so I was practicing! Okay! Don't look at me like that! I know I never participated in this stuff but actually Manik Sir has told me to participate how I can say no! He has done so much for me! Because of him I'm studying in this prestigious college! If he hadn't told Alya Mam's father then I wouldn't have been able to study over here! That's why when he requested me I couldn't deny him! So now that I have explained you everything then can I please sleep early today! I'm too tired!"

After getting the approval she smiled brightly and ran to her room shouting, "I love you!"

After having the conversation she came to her room and slept.

On the other side, Manik with all his friends was enjoying the party when Cabir hooted gaining everyone's attention, "Guys! Today's video on that Nandini is hit again! Wuhooo!"

All looked at the video except Manik.

Suddenly out of nowhere he shouted, "Enough guys!"

All looked at him, "I don't want to talk about that girl! Don't start her topic again!"

He went to his room and Soha ran behind saying, "I'll look after him! He needs me!"

Others nodded and called it a night.

Next day, Nandini got ready and went to college. To her relief Fab5 or anyone else didn't bother her as all were busy and was jamming.

After college she went to café. After working there as per her working hours she was returning to her apartment when her eyes fell on the lavish car on the other side of her apartment where Manik's house was.

She was so bewitched with the car. She was so attracted that her smiling face stretched more making her smile widely. In her trance she didn't know how crossed the road and about to reach when she saw Manik coming to the car with his hands tangled with Soha. Her steps halted and she stood there still. Soha was blindfolded. Manik opened it and said handing over the keys to her, "Soha! I know you love me a lot and I'm lucky to have you with my side on every step so this is for you! You can say it a bribe because I am going to ask for something! I know it's not a perfect place but this is the perfect time! So Soha Khurana will you be life partner? Will you marry me?"

Soha's smile fades as she heard the last line but faking a smile she nodded in yes and before Manik could react they heard a scream.

Startled they turned towards the voice only to find Nandini lying in the pool of blood.

As she saw them coming she was still and her trance broke down she heard Manik proposing her, she was about to move back but before that a car came from nowhere and hitting her sped away.

Manik ran towards with an annoyed face Soha behind him.

Manik takes her in his arms in jiffy and about to take her to his car for hospital when he heard Soha, "Baby let her be! Let her die like a rotten piece! She deserves this. Don't you remember what she did in past. It's her karma. I think we should throw her in side of ro.......

Before she could complete Manik shouted, "Are you out of your bloody mind Soha. We need to take her hospital and you're uttering this shit. I seriously never expected this from you. Forget it. Give me the damn keys."

Without arguing anything she hands him keys and took Nandini to the car.

Taking her in lap he drove the car as fast as he can.

He took her to the nearest hospital where doctors were treating her when a nurse came to him with papers.

"Patient k saath kon hai?", Nurse asked him to which Manik came forward.

She looked him and asked shockingly, "Manik Malhotra!"

He rolled his eyes before nodding his head. Looking at his serious face she kept her fan girl at one side and asked, "Patient k koi relative hai?"

Manik nodded in no with a blank face as he fisted his hands controlling himself.

"Toh bulaye! Varna hum treat nhi karegey! Her case is quite critical and she needs to be operated so these papers need to be signed so that hospital won't take the risk if anything happens to while her treatment!"

"Us.. usska ko.. koi.. nh.. nhi..!", Manik stammered while saying. He looked at everywhere but the nurse.

"Ohh! Toh sorry but we can't operate her! Humey patient k hosh aaney ka wait karna hoga! But as time will pass, it'll increase the failure of operation!", she stated and about to go when Manik stops her.

"I'll sign! I'm her husband!", he stated and closed his eyes as a tear slipped from the corner of his eyes.

Nurse looked at him confusingly but didn't thought to bug him and handed the papers to him. He signed it and sat on the chair kept there.

"I'm sorry God! I have to lie! I don't have any option!", he said under his breath.

After hours doctor came out and asked Manik to follow him.

"Mr. Malhotra! The operation was successful. It was a small one but agar time par nhi hota toh she might have slipped into comma! By the way I never heard about her in any news. May I know how's she related to you?"

"She's just my neighbor and junior in college! I'm not related to her in any way!", Manik said with a blank expression.

"Okay! As nurse said she had no one so I guess I'll discuss it with her only!", doctor said to which Manik hurriedly answered, "You can say it to me! I'll take care of her!"

"Well! If you're insisting! Her body was burning when you came with her so we had to give her mild anesthesia so she'll be up in an hour or so! For now she had a major fracture in her right leg so she needs bed rest! And we can discharge her in three days if she'll show improvement!"

After an hour Nandini slowly opened her eyes and looked around to find herself in hospital. She was about to sit when nurse stopped her, "Arey! Aap kya kar rahi hai? You need bed rest! Please lay down!"

Nandini was compelled to lie down. She looked at herself and found bandage around her leg and head.

"Who brought me here?", she asked after sometime.

"Your husband!", nurse answered leaving her baffled. She looked at her in shock and muttered under her breathe, "Husband?"

She thought about and analyzed whoever has brought might have lied for her treatment. Perks of being a medical student! You know the conditions!

"You lay here, I'll call him inside! He's waiting outside!", Nurse told her and about to go when Nandini shouted, "NO!"

Nurse looked at her confusingly.

"Wo! I'm fine! You can see it! Tell him to go home otherwise he'll fall sick! I don't want that!", she answered her confused look making her smile.

"You love him a lot! Isn't it?", her words gave her a mini heart attack but recovering from it she nodded with a smile.
