"I need to use washroom.." Khushi whispered cutely to Arnav.

"I will accompany you.." he said and Khushi widened her eyes in shock.

"No need! I can manage.." she frowned.

"Khushi don't start to behave like a brainless woman! You don't know where the washroom here is so let me help you.." Arnav gritted his teeth.

"Nahin, I know what your intentions are okay.." Khushi said in low tone.

"What intentions?" Arnav looked at her confused.

"First of all forcing me to accept your dinner date invitation, then behaving good with me when all you do is scold me always, and now you want to accompany me to the washroom? When did you start behaving like a gentleman with me? I know where all this is leading to.." Khushi looked away uncomfortable.

"What the.. You think I will take advantage of you?" Arnav asked in disbelief.

Khushi didn't reply to him, only looked down.

Arnav stood up from his chair angrily, "Walk straight then take left.. you will find the washroom!"

Saying this he left from there with heavy steps and clenched jaws, clutching his fist tightly. How can she think that he invited her for dinner just to take advantage of her? Does she think he's like his father?

Getting in his car, he closed the door with a loud bang.

Khushi came after some minutes, she got inside the car and stare at him meekly. She could see he was really angry with her.

"Seat belt.." Arnav gritted his teeth and said it without staring at her.

Khushi started pulling the seat belt but out of nervousness she wasn't able to do it. Arnav pulled it for her glaring at her and buckled the seat belt for her.

Arnav opened the car for her with his stern look not even sparing a glance towards her.

Khushi got down the car and handed to him a paper chit meekly.

"What's this?" Arnav snatched the paper from her hand roughly.

"Read.." she pouted.

With a hard sigh, he opened the folded paper chit and read it aloud and in not interested tone, "I'm sorry!"

Khushi waited for his answer.

Arnav shrugged staring at her with deadpan expression, "What? You made say sorry to myself!"

"Nahin.." she nodded sideways.

"Am I looking like a womanizer to you?" he pointed to his face.

Khushi nodded sideways.

"Have you seen or heard that I call my women employees to have dinner with me?" he asked.

Khushi nodded sideways.

"Have you seen me taking advantage of women before?" he asked taking one step forward.

Khushi nodded sideways leaning on his car.

"I did misbehave with you in past, but I also said sorry for everything that I did with you and you forgave me Khushi.. Still you think I.." the words didn't came out of his mouth and he looked away in displeasure.

Khushi stare at him with moist eyes, she cup his face and made him look at her, "I'm sorry.. I'm really sorry.."

Arnav also stare at her and could feel that she really said sorry from her heart. She was guilty of judging his intentions wrong.

A lone tear escaped from her eye, Arnav brushed his cheek against hers wiping the tear from her cheek, "It's okay.." he whispered huskily.

Khushi closed her eyes feeling his touch which sent an electric shock to her whole body.

Suddenly they heard a thud sound and Arnav took one step back startled. While Khushi adjusted her dress embarrassed and confused with what just happened now.

Both looked towards the side where that sound came and widened their eyes seeing the "Shocking scene".

"Yeh bandaar yahan kya kar raha hai? (What's this monkey doing here?)" Arnav said aloud watching Akash waving at Payal after jumping down the window.

"Not monkey.. Do you have eyesight problems or what? He's Akash sir.." Khushi took a step forward and stood beside him.

"It's the same thing!" Arnav rolled his eyes.

"Oh really.. Then a lion is standing beside me now!" Khushi replied smiling.

"And a butterfly is standing beside me.." on hearing this Khushi blushed, "Which I can finish her off with my own hands!" Arnav smirked.

Khushi pouted, "Mujhe pakad nahin paoge tum! (You won't be able to catch me)"

"You will come to me!" Arnav said huskily.

"Woh kaise? (How's that?)" Khushi placed her hands on her hip raising her brows at him.

"Office to tum roz aati ho na (You come to office everyday, right?)" Arnav smirked.

Khushi rolled her eyes.

Akash gasped when he saw Arshi together, adjusting his specs: Bhai..

"Tum yahan kar kya rahe ho? (What are you doing here?)" Arnav asked.

"He's not a kid anymore that you like a elder brother will question him like this.." Khushi intervened.

"Right Khushi.." Akash said, "You can't threaten me with your eyes always like this bhai!"

"Did you even realize he came to meet with Payal?" Arnav looked at Khushi.

"Toh kya? Ek ladka aur ek ladki dost nahin ban sakte kya? Aap toh purane zamaane Dadi/Nani ki tarah baat kar rahe hain (So what? Can't a boy and girl be friends? You're talking like Dadi/Nani of old times)" Khushi frowned.

"Even you took me to a dinner date remember?" she asked sarcastically.

"I took you with permission.. Buaji and Payal knew you're going outside with me.. I'm not worried for Akash, but Payal who lives in this damn society who will not waste an opportunity to spoil her life.. She's like my sister, the way I protect Di.. I will protect Payal too.." Arnav said.

Khushi stare at him astonished with his words.

Akash realized what problems he could bring for Payal by meeting her without anyone knowledge.

"But it was you who gave him idea to jump through the window that day.." Khushi teased.

"That's because he came in the picture unwantedly and I wanted to get rid of him to talk with you! I didn't knew he would like the idea to be a monkey and jump the windows now.." Arnav shrugged.

Akash whined, "Bhai!! I just came to give something to Payal.."

Khushi and Arnav looked at him with raised brows, "What?"

"You both went to dinner date? Wah, that's a surprise!" Akash smirked turning the focus on them now.

"It's just dinner date.. What is that something you have to give to Jiji secretly in her room at this late night?" Khushi asked suspiciously.

Arnav sighed in relief that Khushi saved his 'ASR's reputation'.

"It's nothing.." Akash said embarrassedly.

"Oh, so you bought saree for Payal?" Arnav asked as realization dawned upon him.

"Which saree?" Khushi asked confused.

"Today morning Di and Nani were choosing saree for themselves and Akash was also there helping them, then he secretly choose one for Payal.." Arnav explained to Khushi.

Akash shut his eyes tightly for getting caught by his brother and Khushi.

"So this means you love Jiji, Akash sir?" Khushi widened her eyes.

"She loves him too!" Arnav said.

"How do you know?" Akash and Khushi asked at the same time.

"If she didn't love him, then she would have slapped this monkey at the window only and not let him enter.. Still she risked her life and ignored her fears of Buaji, and let him in her room!" Arnav shrugged.

Khushi and Akash looked at him with open mouth admiring his logic talks.

"What?" Arnav looked at them irked.

"You're so intelligent.." Khushi smiled gushing over him.

Arnav shook his head at her. Khushi slapped his shoulder, "I'm praising you and you're looking at me as if I'm mad! Learn how to say thank you, otherwise this is the last time I'm praising you!"

"Khushi dare you slap me again.. I will really fire you from AR.." Arnav glared at her muttering "Unbelievable" to himself.

"Come up with some new threats.. I'm tired of this one!" Khushi chuckled mockingly.

"I'm going home!" Akash rolled his eyes tiredly of their fights.

"Wait Akash sir.. You didn't reply to me yet.. Do you love Jiji or not?" Khushi asked clapping her hands smiling excitedly.

Arnav leaned on his car and crossed his arms, "Jaldi batana.. Haan ya na? (Say it quickly.. Yes or no?)"

"We're not cracking deals here!!" Khushi glared at him.

"It will take us much more time to get approval of Mami!" Arnav added.

Akash looked at them irked and shouted loudly "Stop it you both.."

"The ASR beast woke up in him also!" Khushi bite her nails nervously and took a step back hiding behind Arnav.

"Yes, I love Payal.." Akash replied still irritated with Arshi's no ending fights.

Arnav smiled a little but didn't show it to Akash or Khushi. He actually didn't have problems with Akash's choice. Payal is a good girl in his point of view and both perfectly match for each other.

"Wow.. you love Jiji.. Akash sir.. I can't even believe this.. You.. ASR.. you love my Jiji.. Now everyone will shut their mouth because Jiji found such a good man instead of that Abhishek.." Khushi started jumping in happiness.

"You don't have any problem Khushi?" Akash asked unsure, smiling amused to see Khushi so happy like this.

"Nahin toh.. Why would I have problems if you both love each other?" Khushi smiled.

Arnav patted Khushi's head gently, "Now it's getting late.. You should go home and make some jalebis to eat and celebrate this news with Payal..ok?"

Khushi nodded with her eyes twinkling in happiness, but then she noticed the sarcasm on his tone and frowned shoving his hand away from her head, "Bye!"

"See you tomorrow!" Arnav smirked.

"Bye Akash sir.." Khushi said happily and hugged him giggling, "Today I'm very happy to hear that a man like you loves my Jiji.. she will be so happy with you!"

A man like you! This words got stuck in Arnav's mind, he wondered what did she mean by that? Isn't a man like him capable of keeping a woman happy? What's wrong with a man like HIM?

"Khushi.. don't say anything to Payal now. I actually want to propose her.. It's a surprise.." Akash said smiling.

Khushi widened her eyes smiling while a wow escaped her mouth, "Okay.. Okay.. I will act like I don't know anything.."

Akash chuckled at her innocent sweet expressions and went towards his car.

"Listen.." Arnav called her once Akash left.

Khushi turned to him and waited for him to speak.

"There's no need to read what's written in that letter.. Just throw it away!" Arnav said.

"Why?" Khushi asked confused.

"Because I'm saying so dammit!" Arnav groaned.

"Now I will definitely read it DAMMIT.." Khushi frowned and went running back to her house.

Early in morning, Arnav returned from jogging and was walking in direction to his room when his Di and Akash's conversation caught his attention.

"You won't believe what Bhai did yesterday Di.." Akash said excitedly to share with Anjali that Arnav took Khushi to a dinner date.

"Men don't look good gossiping Akash!" Arnav rolled his eyes.

Akash pouted, "Aa gaya ASR!"

"He's just chatting with me Chote.. not gossiping.." said Anjali curious to know what her Chote did.

"Yesterday you bought saree na Di?" Arnav asked indirectly warning Akash that if he tells Di about his and Khushi's dinner date, then he's going to share with Di about his love story with Payal.

Akash stayed in silence immediately.

"Di.. How are you?" Khushi ran towards Anjali and side hugged her.

"What are you doing here?" Arnav asked confused.

"I was behind you with Nani only but you walk so fast that we couldn't catch you.." Khushi said chirpily.

Arnav rolled his eyes.

"Khushi.. I'm fine.. Finally you took time to visit us.. Don't you miss us, Akash, Chote?" Anjali asked and added Arnav's name purposely to get Khushi's reaction.

Arnav was like What the, why is Di is asking if Khushi misses him, if Khushi works with him in AR everyday?

"I do miss you, Nani, Mami ji, Mama ji, Shyam bhaiya, Laxmi, HP ji a lot.. but not Akash sir and Sir.. I meet them everyday, in fact yesterday only I went to a beautiful and big five star restaurant to have dinner with Sir and then I meet with Akash sir who was in my house to meet with Jiji.." Khushi said smiling.

Anjali smirked getting to know what both brothers decided to hide from her.

Arnav and Akash face palmed.

"You're really fired Miss Gupta.." Arnav said before leaving to his room.
