After travelling for 3 hours the plane landed and manan came out of the airport hand in hand. Nandini looked around the surrounding and smiled widely.

Nan: dehradun!

Nan: but manik hum yaha kyu aaye hai?

Man: woh bhi ek surprise hai pehle chalo we have to go.

Nandini sighed and they came out of airport and saw a man holding the board of 'Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra '. They went towards him and he greeted them and put their luggage in the car and handed the car keys to manik. He thanked him and they both sat in the car.

Manan reached a house and they both came out nandini looked at him in confusion.

Nan: manik yeh kiska ghar hai?

Manik point towards the nameplate where there was beautifully inscripted 'ManNan'.

Nan: ManNan?

Man: manik ka 'ma' aur nandini ka 'nan' ManNan.

Nan: matlab yeh ghar

Man: humara hai

Nan: par aapne yeh kab matlab kaise

Man: well I wanted to buy something that will signifies us and what's better than this and that too waha jaha se humara safar shuru hua tha. Chalo let's see our new house.

Nandini nodded excitedly and manik forwarded his hand nandini smiled and kept her hand in his and they both entered the house.

First manik took her to the garden which was infront of the house. Manik side hug her.

Man: here we'll sit for hours seeing our children playing.

Nandini blushed hearing him talking about children..

Then he took her inside the house in the hall. It was a cozy small hall area.

Man: this is hall area where we'll spend time with our friends.

Then he took her to the kitchen.

Man: idhar you'll cook delicious food for me and our children.

Nandini laughed at his foodie husband.

Then he took her to the room where there was a small bed with a tent. Nandini was confused seeing the room.

Nan: manik yeh kiska room hai?

Man: this room yeh humare bacho ka I know abhi time hai par jab bhi woh aaenge. Nandini smiled with tears seeing so much love in manik's eyes.

Man: now let's go to the most special part of the house.

Manik picked her up due to which she squealed. He took her to the master bedroom and placed it down and back hugged her.

Man: and this is our room where we make lots and lots of love under the stars.

She blushed hearing him.

Nan: manik aap bhi na.

Manik laughed and hug her. After sometime they broke the hug.

Man: so? You hungry?

Nan: no not really just tired.

Man: hm me too lets rest for sometime.

Nandini nodded and they both slept in each other's arms.

It was late evening when nandini opened her eyes only to frown not finding manik beside her. She looked here and there but didn't find him. She took her phone to call him but stopped seeing a message from manik.

She opened the message which read.

I know I know you must be finding me but you have to work hard to reach me so Mrs. Malhotra get up and freshen up.

She smiled and went in the washroom and was surprised seeing the whole bathroom decorated with rose petals and candles and a pink bathrobe hanging there with a note.

She picked up the note and read it.

From the time you came in my life you handled everything. You took all my responsibilities on your shoulders so to relax you a small gesture.

She smiled and took a relaxing bath and wore the bathrobe and came out again and saw a box with a note lying on the bed.

She smiled and took the box and opened it to see a beautiful dress with all the accessories and footwear with a note.

Wear this and come out can't wait to see you.

She blushed and left to get ready. After getting ready she came out and saw a car there. She recieved a message from manik.

Sit in the car to reach me.

She sat in the car and the driver drove her to a location. After sometime the car stopped and she came out and saw she was near the pond at the back of their school and there were trees where notes were attached.

She came to the first tree and took the note and read it.

This place has our most beautiful memories. Here I realized how much I need you in my life.

She smiled with tears in her eyes. Then she went to the next one.

For the first time I shared my past with someone and that was you and from that moment I knew I can't loose you at any cost.

She looked here and there finding him but he was no where then she moved to the third tree.

You were like coming up for fresh air. It was like I was drowning and you saved me.

She got more tears in her eyes and moved forward towards the next and last one.

And today I promise you to be with you forever even when we are old smelly and senile we'll be together forever.

Nandini was getting impatient by now to see the man she loved from her heart.

Nan: manik

He came from behind and snaked his arms around her waist and whispered in her ears.

She then realized it was her birthday and in work pressure she forget that. She turned towards him and hug him tightly.

After sometime they broke the hug but still they were standing close.

Nan: you remembered?

Man: how can I forget this day when god sent this beautiful angel who is my wife now.

She smiled with tears.

Man: what are you thinking?

Nan: just thinking what did I ever do to have you in my life.

Man: that question is for me what did I do to have you in my life.

He pulled her tightly and she snaked her arms around his neck and gently placed her lips on his.

After a while they broke the kiss.

Man: ok now cake time.

She smiled and manik took her to the table where a beautiful cake placed there. They cut the cake together and feed each other. Suddenly manik's phone rang breaking their moment.

He picked up the phone and saw it was video call from arya. He picked the call and saw arya bebe and raj sitting there.

Manik gave the phone to nandini.

Arya: happy birthday bhabhi!

She thanked him.

Bebe: janamdin ki dher saari bhadahiya beta.

Raj: happy birthday beta

Nan: thankyou bebe papa

Raj: I hope mere stupid bete ne tumhare liye kuch achha surprise plan kia hoga.

She smiled and nodded and after talking for sometime they kept the call but again there was a phone ring but this time it was nandini's phone.

She saw the caller id and smiled widely and picked it up.

Nan: bhaiya!

Ar: happy birthday princess

Nan: thankyou

Then swarna and harshvardhan also wished her and after talking for sometime they kept the phone.

Man: ok so now family time over aab thoda attention apne iss pyare pati ko bhi dedo.

Nandini laughed and hugged him.

Man: hm

Man: with pleasure.

He took her hands in his and kept hid other hand on her waist and start singing.
