It was early morning when manik's sleep broke due to the sound of alarm which he put as he had to pack his things and had to leave in some hours.

He opened his eyes only to see a beautiful view infront of him. His wife with smudged sindoor with her hair spread on the pillow she was looking ethereal.

Manik was just lost admiring his wife and was remembering the best night of his life.

Nandini slowly opened her eyes only to see his husband admiring her. She smiled and snuggled more into his bare chest.

Manik chuckled at his baby wife and wrapped his arms around her.

Man (huskily): good morning wifey!

She snuggled and whispered.

Nan: good morning husband!

Man: are you ok?

Nandini just nodded and was about to get up when she realised she was naked so she hurriedly lied back covering her with the comforter till her neck. Only her red crimson face was visible.

She was shy and seeing which manik smirked and thought to tease his little wife a bit.

Man (mischievously): what happened baby why you again lied down. Cmmon dont be lazy chlo utho.

Nandini glared him and he controlling his laughter made a serious expression.

Nan (glaring): manik

Man (innocently): what?

Nan (whining): manik you go na pehle I'll freshen up after you.

Man: aree but kyu roz toh tum humesha pehle freshen up hoti ho so why not today.

Nan: manik please na.

Manik chuckled and went near her face.

Man (huskily): no need to hide anything waise bhi I've seen everything.

Nandini blushed and manik just picked her up in his arms with the duet covering her.

She blushed and hid his face in his chest.

He entered in the washroom and placed her on the slab and handed her toothbrush.

Man: you brush your teeth I'll set the water hm.

Nandini admired her love lovingly and continued with her daily chores.

After she was completed she went towards the shower area and manik turned and frowned seeing her.

Man: why you came main aa rha tha to take you you must be in pain na shona so?

Nandini pout and hug him.

Nan: I love you!

Manik sighed and hug her back and kissed her head.

Man: I love you more.

She was just lost in his scent and was snuggling into his bare chest.

Man(huskily): jaan

Nan: hm

Man: waise toh I don't mind to stay like this but you are not at all helping me you know what I mean right.

Nandini pushed manik and he laughed and went outside leaving nandini blushing.

After freshening up she changed into a red simple suit.

She came outside and saw manik with a suitcase infront of him and trying to pack his things.

Reality hit her manik was going today. Now she was more vulnerable as yesterday only they became one and today he had to leave and again that feeling of something bad keep nudging her.

But she plastered a smile on her face not wanting to bother manik.

She came towards him and patted his shoulder. He turned and was clean bowled looking at her that too in his favourite colour.

She blushed with his intense gaze on her. She tried to go towards the dressing area but manik held her from waist.

Man: where are you going Mrs Malhotra?

Nan: manik chodiye na

Man: nah not a chance. Waise plan kya hai ha?

Nan (confusingly): what plan?

Man: aree apne aap ko dekha hai do you want to kill me with your looks?

Nandini smiled mischievously and snaked her arms around his neck.

Nan: so is the plan working?

Man: totally

Nandini blushed.

Man: aa bas woh ek cheez missing hai.

Nan: kya?

Manik left her and went towards the dressing area and took the vermilion box and went back to her and took a pinch from the box and filled her forehead.

Man: now perfect

Nandini smiled.

Nan: achha what are you doing by the way?

Man: aree yarr main packing kar raha tha aur mujhse ho nahi rahi humesha toh bebe help krti hai lekin abhi woh so rahi hongi so socha unhe disturb na kru

Nan: aree bas itni si baat I'll do your packing aap jao freshen up ho jao.

Manik nodded and kissed her cheek and ran to washroom while nandini chuckled at his childish behaviour.

She packed his belongings neatly and after closing the bag she kept manik's clothes on bed and left downstairs to prepare breakfast.

She came in the hall and saw bebe in the temple praying. She went there and took bebe's blessings and pray and they both together went to the dining area.

Nan: bebe aap baithiye main breakfast dekhti hu.

Bebe nodded and sat in the dining area.

Bebe: manu kithe hai puttar? (where is manu?)

Nan: woh aa rahe hai bebe .

Bebe nodded and nandini went to the kitchen and prepared breakfast for everyone.

After sometime manik came downstairs and after that raj nyonika and aryaman came.

They all sat in the dining area and the servants served them their breakfast.

Man: tu kab aaya arya?

Arya: kal late night aaya bhai bahaut raat ho chuki thi isliye kisi ko disturb nahi kia.

Manik nodded and continued his breakfast.

Raj: manik when did you have to leave?

Man: I'll leave in 2 hours dad.

Raj: you are taking our private jet na

Manik nodded and like this they continued their breakfast. While all this nyonika was silent thinking something deeply.

After the breakfast manik nandini dispersed to their room to spend some quality time as manik was leaving in some time.

They entered in the room and were sitting in the balcony absorbing each other's presence. Nandini was feeling restless again but she ignored it again and sat all cuddled to manik.

Nan: I am gonna miss you manik...

Man: me too shona. Par you don't worry ek hafta toh aise hi chutki mein nikal jaenge. We'll facetime daily ok and you also have to promise me you'll take care of my wife and will not stress her with work. Hm?

She nodded like a child. He smiled at her cuteness and kissed her cheek tightly. She giggled as his beard rubbed on her cheek. He noticed it and did it few more times and she was giggling everytime. Manik was loving the sound of her giggles. Soon it was time for manik to go. They shared a kiss and then went down and saw bebe and raj waiting for them. Manik took blessings from them and aryaman loaded his luggage in the car. Nandini insisted to come along and seeing her dull face no one unable to deny her.

They reached the airport and with each passing second nandini was feeling more and more restless. Manik asked aryaman to take care of nandini and try to divert her mind. He nodded and then manik kissed her forehead and mumbling take care. Nandini was still fighting with her inner turmoil and finally not able to control more she shouted his name and ran into his arms.

Nan (sobbing): manik please don't go. I am not feeling right please manik.

She was crying like a child manik tried to calm her but she was just hugging him tightly.

After lot of pleadings and sweet words she calmed a bit and manik cupped her face.

Man: shh bachha dekho kya haal bana liya hai apna aapne aise koi rata hai kya. Bas now you'll not cry ok. Kuch nahi hoga mujhe aur na main apko hone dunga. I'll be back soon and tab tak you'll take care of yourself. You are my good girl na?

Nandini wiped her tears and nodded cutely and manik for the last time kissed her forehead and left without turning because if he would turn he'll not be able to go.

After he left Arya and nandini also left. Arya dropped nandini to hospital and went to Malhotra industries.
