It was early morning when nandini's sleep broke due to a phone call.

She still in sleep took the call.

Nan (sleepily): hello

Man: good morning baby!

She smiled widely hearing manik's voice first in the morning.

Nan: good morning manik!

Man: tum abhi tak so rhi ho cmmon get up.

Nan: hmm

Man: kya hua why are you sounding so low ha? Are you ok?

Nan: ha baba I am ok just thinking. Manik, will everything be fine today?

Man: yes. Everything will be fine today, not only fine but awesome.

Before she could speak there was knock on the door.

She cuts the call and went towards the door. She opened it to find a servant with her dress for haldi function.

She took it and went to get ready.

Nandini's outfit

All girls came to her room and took her for haldi.

Everyone was applying haldi but nandini was very sad. There was no bridal glow and happiness on her face.

Suddenly someone shouted nandini's name and nandini looked at the person.

Nan: khushi

Khushi immediately came towards nandini and hugged her tightly and nandini also hugged her back with a wide smile.

At the same time arnav also came in the lawn area where the haldi function was held.

Ar: khushi

Nan: tu aab aa rhi hai Khushi seriously itni late.

Khu: I am so sorry nandini hum pehle nahi aa paye woh babuji ki tabiyat achanak kharab ho gayi thi.

Nan: aab kaise hai uncle?

Khu: aab better hai.

Nandini nodded.

Khu: achha ek baat batao tumhara woh lad governer khadoos bhai toh nahi hai na yaha I mean abhi.

Before she could speak further someone cleared his throat from back.

She tightly closed her eyes and turned back.

Khu: s..so.. sorry sir woh main

Nandini was anyhow controlling his laughter seeing her p.a. cum best friend so scared of her brother.

And on other side arnav was fully enjoying khushi's expression but he didn't showed up on his face.

Ar: miss Gupta I think you forgot your manners.

Kh (murmuring): lad governer

Nandink who was standing close to Khushi heard her murmuring and laughed loudly.

Arnav was confused with her behavior.

Ar: what happened princess?

Khushi shook her head in no.

Nan: nothing bhai just remembered something and don't be so harsh on khushi woh yaha as a meri best friend aai hai not as my p.a. so don't behave so professional with her.

Arnav nodded and left from there and khushi sighed in relief.

Khu: thank god nandini you saved me today.

Nan: kya Khushi tum bhi. Mujhe toh ek baat samajh nahi aati why bhai and you don't get along.

Khushi shrugged her shoulder and went towards nandini's mom to meet her.

After haldi was finished she was about to go to her room when her phone ranged.

It was important call from hospital so nandini picked the call and went towards the quite area of the lawn.

She was talking on phone when someone snaked his hands around her waist.

She startled and the phone left from her hand.

She turned and seeing the person she sighed in relief.

Nan: oh god manik tumne toh mujhe dara hi diya tha.

Manik's outfit

Manik chuckled seeing her reaction.

She picked the phone and saw it was cut.

Nan: waise tum yaha kya kr rhe ho

Man: aree tumhari haldi hai toh main tumhe haldi lagane aaya tha

Nan: seriously manik

Manik nodded and takes out a bowl of haldi from behind his back and shows it to her.

She smiled at him.

He dips his finger in the haldi and applies on her cheek. Then she applied on other cheek.

Nandini's eyes were closed all this while.

Then he took some more haldi and rubbed it on her arms. She shivered with the touch.

She slowly opened her eyes to see manik looking at her lovingly.

Nan: it's not fair here I am fully covered in haldi and you are so clean.

Manik smirked and leaned towards her. She widened her eyes seeing him so close.

She closed her eyes when she felt manik's cheek rubbed with hers.

He repeated the same with other cheek and moved back.

Nandini opened her eyes and saw him smirking.

Man: now we are fair!

Nandini blushed and hug him and hid her face in his chest. Manik chuckles at her.

After sometime they broke the hug and looks at each other.

Man: ok now listen I am for some important work and will come early.

Nandini gets tensed listening him.

Nan: par manik where are you going aaj shaadi hai manik mujhe yeh shaadi nahi karni manik please where are you going?

Manik immediately cupped her face.

Man: shh baby shaant I am going for that only so that this marriage will be cancelled bas.

Nan: but manik I am very tensed I don't know mujhe aisa lag rha hai kuch bahut bura hone wala.

Man: kuch bura nahi hoga aur main hoon na main kuch hone dunga tumhe nahi na so bas take care ok and I'll be back before the marriage and this marriage will be cancelled.

Nandini nods her head and manik kissed her head and left.

After sometime manik reached outside a godown where he found aman his p.a standing there.

Am: sir the investigator told all the illegal activities of Madhyam Singhaniya takes place here.

Man: ok aman you can go now from here I'll take care of everything.

Am: but sir

Man: I said go aman.

Aman obliged him and went from there.

Manik entered in the godown and start searching for some clues.

He was secretly finding something that's when he saw maddy with his father and some workers talking.

MF: Maddy what have you thought about that nandini.

Hearing her name manik get alerted and took her phone and start recording.

Maddy: nothing dad jo maine preeti ke saath kia tha wahi uske saath bhi hoga. Preeti bach gayi thi lekin nandini will not be saved.

MF: ha pata nahi woh kaise humare changul se bahaag gayi phir hume usse marna padha tha lekin nandini ko hum nahi chod skte she'll be sold to shaikh as soon as wedding get completed.

Maddy smirked.

Manik was shocked listening their conversation. He recorded everything on his phone and was about to go when Maddy's father noticed him.

MF: manik

Maddy: what

He turned and saw manik he immediately went towards him and Maddy's father called his men.

Some men came and get hold of manik.

Maddy: look who we have as a guest dad Mr. Manik Malhotra.

Man: let me go you moron

Maddy: anger hm I like it but what's the use of it you can't get escape from here. By the way what were you doing here spying on me.

Man: it's none of your business.

Maddy: oh it is my friend.

Maddy (to the goons): he is our guest and my lovely friend take care of him nicely.

The goons nodded and moves towards manik with chains and hockey sticks.

Maddy and his father smirked and left from there.

Mohlat le ke kuch waqt se
Samay ko tu yahi rok le
Mohbatt ke yeh haseen pal
Baar baar tu jee le...
