Next morning

Swarna opened Nandini's room. She saw nandini sleeping on bed curling into ball with dried tear marks on her face.

Swarna sat near her and caress her hair. She was also in tears seeing her daughter suffering.

On feeling swarna's hand on her head nandini opened her eyes and looks at her mother in tears.

Nandini immediately sat up straight and wiped her mother's tears and hugged her tightly.

Nan: mumma kya hua why are you crying?

Sw: nandini beta why are you doing this?

Nandini start looking here and there.

Nan (avoiding her gaze): what are you talking about mumma?

Saying this she got up and was about to go to washroom.

Swarna hold her wrist and turned her.

Sw: you very well know what I am talking about. I know you are not happy with this marriage idea of your father then why are you doing this?

Nan: no mumma I am happy.

Nandini says looking down.

Sw: really nandini then tell me this looking into my eyes. Beta I am your mother and I know you very well so don't try to fool me.

Nan: mumma I can't hurt papa anymore. I have already hurted him a lot. Aur it's not good to give him more stress it will worsen his health further more.

Swarna kissed her forehead. Suddenly Soha barges in the room immediately. She looked at them and rolled her eyes.

Soh: if your mother daughter melodrama is over, then be ready because the boy's family is about to come.

Swarna looks towards nandini who smiled sadly.

Nan: mumma you go downstairs I'll get ready.

Swarna nods and left the room.

Nandini locked the door and came and sat on the bed.

Nan: I don't know what I am doing is right or wrong but I can't hurt papa more. Aiyapaaa please give me strength.

While on other side manik finally reached mumbai and first went to Malhotra mansion.

He was welcomed by bebe. He entered and hugged bebe tightly.

Saying this he ran towards his room and bebe was standing confused seeing hie weird behaviour.

As soon as manik reached his room he called his most trusted man cum his pa aman.

Man: hello aman

Aman: yes sir

Man: aman listen to me carefully you have to find a girl.

Aman was surprised listening his boss asking for a girl.

Aman: sir girl matlab main kuch samjha nahi.

Man: yes you have to find Nandini Murthy I want her address as soon as possible understand.

Aman: yes sir

Saying this he hunged the phone.

Man (smiling): Nandini Murthy be ready I am coming for you.

While in Murthy mansion nandini was ready to meet the boy's family and was sitting infront of the mirror.

She was looking very beautiful but there was no smile on her face.

Soha came to her room and looks at her in jealousy.

So: let's go the boy's family is here.

She nodded and went with Soha downstairs.

As soon as she reached in the hall she saw a family sitting there busy talking with her father.

Soha made her sit beside madhyam. He was mesmerized by Nandini's beauty. He secretly clutched her hand tightly. Nandini was shocked with his this action. She looked at him and he smirked devishly.

She tried to get her hand free from his clutches but he hold it more tightly.

He came near her ears.

Ma: baby don't try you can't get free from me.

Nandini looks at him shockingly.

She has tears in her eyes. She never expected her father to find someone like him for her. She was scared for her future.

Everyone were talking that's when Nandini's mother said.

Sw: ji woh I was saying agar bacho ko akele me thoda waqt diya jaye

But before she could complete harshvadhan glare her.

Ha: koi zaroorat nahi hai aur waise bhi shaadi ke baad bahaut waqt hai dono ke pass.

Madhyam's father also nodded.

Ha: aur waise bhi kal in dono ki engagement hai aur 10 din mein shaadi

This news came as a shock for nandini as well as swarna.

Sw: but ji kal itni saari tayariya kaise mera matlab

Ha: tum uski tension mat lo

Saying this he left with madhyam and his father.

Soha also left behind them smirking.

Nandini had tears in her eyes. She hugged swarna.

While in Malhotra mansion. It was night time.

Manik came down only to see Raj and bebe sitting in the dinning area waiting for him.

He takes his seat. Raj glances at him and says.

Ra: manik tomorrow we have to ho for a engagement ceremony of our business delegates.

Ma: but dad can't I skip this I have some important work.

Ra: no you can't they invited our whole family.

He nodded and continue his dinner.

Next day it was nandini's engagement day.

She was sitting infront of the mirror getting ready but the smile the shine was missing from her face.

That's when soha came to her room and looks at her in envy.

So: there's no need to dress up so much. Let's go groom's family has come amd the auspicious time for the engagement had started.

Nandini got up and went with soha.

As soon as she reached the main hall she saw madhyam standing there checking her outand smirking.

She felt uncomfortable with his gaze.

Soha make nandini stand beside madhyam.

Madhyam's father asked harshvardhan to start the engagement. He nodded and asked swarna to bring the rings.

Swarna bring the rings and gave it to nandini and madhyam.

The engagement starts. The priest told nandini to put the ring in madhyam's finger. Nandini's hands were shivering. She looked at her father who was smiling widely.

She somehow collected herself and made him wear the ring.

Everybody claps for them. Now it was madhyam's turn to make her wear the ring.

She hesitantly forward her hands but when madhyam was about to slide the ring in her finger she senses something different she turned towards the main entrance because of which the ring fell down from madhyam's hands.

Nandini looks towards the main entrance and there he was, Manik holding a bouquet in his hands with a blank expression.
