Nandini decides to reunite the family. Nandini , Navya & Mukti become traditional to impress Bebe/ Dadiji.

Next Day

"Nandini...tum kaam pe nahi gayi?" Manik asked his wife as she cleaned the table. "Aur....Navya, Mukti...woh dono bhi nahi gaye."

"Woh...hum teeno ne kuch time off le liya hai kaam se." Nandini informed him.

"What? Why?" 

Nandini gave him a look. "Manik....plan bhool gaye kya? Humme Dadi ke hisab se chalna hai unka dil jeetne ke liye. Aur unhe kaam karne wali bahu nahi pasand na."

"Yeh kya baat hua? Tum teeno ne itni mehnat karke apne careers mein aage bade ho and you'll just throw it away to impress Dadi?" Manik asked.

"Relax Manik...obviously hum kaam nahi chodenge. Bas...thodi break le rahe hai."

"Bebe kabhi badalne wali nahi hai Nandini."

Nandini & Manik turned to see Kunal standing there.

"Chachu...."

"Tum jo family ke liye karna chahte ho, its sweet....par sab kuch utna asan nahi hai. Ek time tha jab Aisha ne bhi same socha...ki shaadi karke woh Bebe ko mana legi....unke soch ko badal degi lekin kya hua? Bebe ne milne se bhi inkaar kar diya....humse ussi din rishta thod diya. Aur Bhaiya ne bhi...Bebe ka saath diya." Kunal said. 

"Aisa nahi hai Chachu....Papa aap sab se bohot pyar karte hai. Im sure Dadii bhi karti hai...bas mujhe ek mauka chahiye unke iss backdated soch ko badlne ke liye."

"Jo nahi ho sakta kabhi." Kunal replied. 

"Pyar se sab ho sakta hai Chachu." Nandini insisted. "Mujhe try toh karne dijiye. Main iss family ko pura karke rahungi."

"Lekin Di? Woh toh aayi bhi nahi....and I dont think she will." Kunal replied. Nandini suddenly smirked & Kunal exchanged a look with Manik.

"Actuallyyyyyy......kyunki buaji mere invitation ke baad nahi aayi, I decided to do some research and THANK GOD I did!" Nandini chuckled.

"Kyun?" Manik asked.

"Because....we got lucky. I found out ke main unko pehle se jaanti hoon."

"What? Kaise?" Kunal asked.

"Buaji ka beta...Vikas? I was in college with him and woh mera best friend tha! Haan uske baad we kind of lost touch lekin I used to go to his house all the time toh main Buaji AKA Shweta Aunty ko bhi ache se jaanti hoon." Nandini explained. "So...I figured main seedha seedha Viks se baat kar leti hoon."

"Vicks?" Manik asked. "Like....woh dawai....vapor rub??"

"No...Viks...Vikas...its like a cute nickname." Nandini relied.

"Yeah...super cute." Manik muttered, secretly not liking that Nandini gave someone a nickname.

"Anyways....so I sent Viks an email and explained everything. Im sure woh humari madat karega." 

Buzzz...

"Oh...talk of the devil. Looks like Viks ne reply bhi kar diya." Nandini smiled, seeing her phone. She read the email quickly. "Great! He is going to help! Aaj hi woh dono aane wale hai."

"Di itni asani se kaise mann gayi?" Kunal asked. Manik looked at Nandini.

"Oh...uh...paata nahi. Viks ne.... kuch bola hoga..." Nandini looked here and there before trying to escape. Unfortunately Manik knew she was hiding something & quickly stood infront of her.

"Not so fast meri khurafati biwi....spill it. Kya kiya tumne?" Manik asked.

"Who? Little ole me?" Nandini pretended to brush it off. "Kuch nahi...nothing at all! Oh look at the time...I should prepare breakfast!"

Manik didnt let her go anywhere and Nandini sighed in defeat. "Ok fine! Batati hoon....just to make it VERY clear, Viks also thinks yeh idea perfect hai....its fool proof."

"Idea kya hai Nandini?" Manik asked.

"Woh...Viks ne aunty ko kaha ki Dadi ki tabiyat kharab hai and she wants to stay with her COMPLETE family." Nandini shrugged.

"Are you serious? Tumne-"

Kunal started laughing & Manik raised his eye brows. "Im sorry...its just, manna parega Manik, teri iss biwi ka dimaag kaafi tez hai huh?"

"Kaha ka tez? Even if this works, jab Bua ayengi tab toh unko paata chalega ki Dadi bilkul thik hai....tab kya?"

"Ive thought of that...tabhi Viks ne aunty ko kaha hai that Dadi apni tabiyat ke baar mein chupana chahti hai...infact she didnt even admit about want the whole family....woh toh main by chance unki dil ki baat sunn li and I contacted him." Nandini grinned proudly at her plan.

"Chachu...aap koi acha dimaag ke doctor ko jaante hai kya? Mrs Nandini Manik Malhotra ko leke jaana hai." Manik said. "Cause yeh PURI pagal hai!"

"Jab yeh kaam karega na...tab dekhna!" Nandini got offended and left with a pout. Manik turned to Kunal who was very amused.

"Chachu...aap abhi bhi haas rahe hai? Aapko bhi toh lagta hai na ki yeh pagalpanti hai. Jo itne saalon mein thik nahi hua...woh rishtein ab kaise thik hoga?" Manik asked.

"Hmmm...vaise pagalpanti toh hai...par, I dont know.. Nandini ki confidence dekh ke, mujhe bhi thoda thoda confidence aa raha hai." Kunal sighed. "Manik....as much as Bebe ke thinking se mujhe problem hai aur Bhaiya ke saath mera rishta bhi pehle jaisa nahi hai......just come back here and meeting you all made me realize ki...mujhe apne bachon ke liye yeh chahiye. I want my girls to bond with their brothers...I want a big happy family. I just....didnt think it was possible....until now. "

"Aur Dad.....aap unko maaf karenge?" Manik asked.

"Paata nahi....filal dekhte hai, Di actually aati hai ki nahi." Kunal replied.

Everyone had just finished having a silent breakfast when the doorbell rang. Jassi went and opened the front door and there stood Shweta along with her son Vikas.

"Arre...babyji? Aap?" Jassi smiled happily seeing her after so many years. Everyone else turned and while some people like Manik, Kunal & Nandini were not surprised....others were. Bebe just stayed quiet.

"Uff kitni baar kaha hai Jassi...this babyji nonsense is just too down market! Call me Shweta Ma'am."

"Fan? Lekin....itni toh garmi bhi nahi hai babyji, toh phir fan kyun?" Jassi asked.

"Oh god! NEVERMIND!" Shweta rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Shweta....tu yahan?" Raj stood up happily seeing his sister. Shweta got emotional too, seeing her elder brother after so many years but she quickly masked her feelings & turned to Nandini.

"Well Well Well.....Vikas ne jab mujhe bataya ki tune ISS parivaar mein shaadi kar li toh I was very surprised." Shweta said. Everyone except Kunal & Manik were surprised to see she knew Nandini. "Lekin I must say...It's great seeing you after so long."

"Aapko bhi dekh ke bohot acha laga aunty- I mean, Buaji." Nandini corrected herself.

"Oh pls....buaji sounds SOO middle class, aunty is fine." Shweta replied, giving Nandini a hug.

"Hey Nands." Vikas stepped forward & hugged Nandini. "Its been too long!"

"Nands? Itni achi naam hai meri biwi ki....yeh NANDS ka hota hai?" Manik mumbled to himself, frowning as he saw Vikas & Nandini laugh together.
