THE DAY OF COMPETITION

After all lectures got over all participants of competition was getting ready.

Room-3

Shreya: Mai ye black wali gown pehnu ya ye pink wali one-piece?

Tarika: Tera chhod aur merko bata mai kya pehnu?

Ishita: Koi meri bhi help kardo. Purvi tu kya waha bed pe baithke book padh rhi hai taiyaar nhi hona kya? Shaam ko competition hai.

Purvi angrily: Kuch practice to kiya nhi muh utha ke competition me jao ab mai?

Shreya: what do you mean tu competition me jayegi hi nhi?

Purvi: nhi jaogi.

Tarika: Purvi don't be mad vibha mam Sonia mam aur sabko tujhse bahot expectations hai. Agar tune aaisa kiya to.

Purvi: Expectations hurts only. Aur mujhse itni expectations rakhne ke liye maine unhe nhi bola tha. Ab tumlog hi batao vo sab mujhse itni expectations rakhe hai per waha jab mere aur Kavin ke gaane ki baari ayegi so tumlog jaante ho kya hoga na dhang ka co-ordination na kuch.

Ishita puts her hand on her shoulder: Pari I can understand how you are feeling but it doesn't meant ki tu jayegi hi nhi.

Purvi: To aur mai kya karu waha jaake aapni insult karao?

Ishita: Aaaisa nhi hai. Pari tu please taiyaar hojaa chal.

Tarika: haa pari yaar baat ko samjh.

Shreya: logic ko samjh.

Purvi: Issme logic kya hai be?

Shreya: Umm Pata nhi.

After lots of struggle they finally made Purvi ready to come to competition.

AUDITORIUM
DUET SINGING COMPETITION

One by one all arrived. All girls are sitting together all boys are sitting together. The Anchor of the competition came on stage.

Anchor: Welcome Welcome Welcome all the students, all the participants, teachers, principle, vice principal and our judges. We have 3 Specialist Judges for this Duet singing competition. To without wasting anymore time let's get start it. Here we have two type silent songs and rap song let's start with silent song Jodi's.
The first jodi who's gonna perform I mean sing is none other than Kavin khanna And Purvi Malhotra. A big hand for them.

Everyone starts clapping.

Whereas kavi were shock as they were first to perform.

Shreya: Jaa Purvi All the best.

Purvi look at her. She nods her head in yes. Purvi smiles lightly. Then look at Kavin who was already heading towards stage. She also went.

Both reach on the stage, sat of chair facing each other. The mic was kept in between of them.

Both are directly looking into each other's eyes. Kavin starts Singing his lines still staring her.

             kabhi naa

Both:    Tu hi yeh mujhko bata de
             Chahun main ya naa
             Apne tu dil ka pata de

The whole auditorium filled with sound of clapping and hoting. Kavi stand ups. Anchor came on stage.

Anchor: What a brilliant performance by these two. Give them a big hand.

Everyone claps.

Anchor: Very amazing you both just nailed it now you can go. Our next jodi who's gonna perform is...

(A/N:  Ye author likhke thak gaya mai sabka performance describe nhi karne wali maaf karo kyuki puri story to bakki hai abhi agar ye competition me hi sabka performance describe karne lagi to aur 2-3 chapter ussi me jayega so bas kavi ka hi describe kiya bakki nhi karni wali mai jao yaar)

Anchor: Here all the performance have done now let's see the result decided by our honourable judges. I request the Judges to kindly announce the winner names.

Judge-1: All of you perform very well but as we all know the winner would be only one jodi and other two jodi would be runners up.

Judge-2: It was very difficult for us decide the winners as all of you performed very nicely.

Judge-3: But after lots of discussion we finally made our decision 3 winners from Rap song jodi and 3 winners from silent songs jodi.

Judge-1: First we'll announce the winner of rap song.

Judge-2: so the 3rd place in rapping goes to Rocky Singhania and Janvi Gupta.

All claps they collects their awards.

Judge-3: And the 2nd place in rapping goes to Pankaj Nagrath and Snehal Saroj.

Everyone claps they also collect their awards.

Judge-1: And the 1st place in rapping goes to..... Mayur Sharma and Kaveri Seth.

Everyone claps they also collect their awards.

Judge-1: Now it's time for silent song winner.

Judge-3: 3rd place in silent song goes to Nikhil Shukla and Divya Satrala.

Everyone claps they also collect their awards.

Judge-2: and the 2nd place in silent song goes to Dushyant Singh and Ishita Khatri.

Everyone claps they also collect their awards.

Judge-1: And the last winner of this competition. 1st place in silent song goes to.... Any guesses? They are none other than...... Kavin Khanna and Purvi Malhotra.

Kavi got shock both in shock look at each other. All their friends started cheering them. Kavi goes on stage.

Judge-1: You both are really Adorable.

Judge-2: I never ever heard such a mesmerizing voice.

Judge-3: You both are really appreciable.

Judge-1: I'm sure one day you both will achieve great success in singing field.

Then kavi received awards. Everyone claps. And Competition got over. The clock hit 11:00 pm all students were heading back to their respective room when suddenly they heard Avneet's voice.

Avneet: Guys Girls jo bhi participants the koi bhi aapne room me abhi nhi jayega sablog Singing class me jao. Pradyuman sir Sonia and vibha mam has important announcement for you all.

Everyone reach singing class.

Pradyuman: Baccho aap sabne bahot hi accha gaaya aaj.

Students:Thankyou sir.

Vibha: Aur khaaskar Kavin aur Purvi tum dono ne.

Sonia: Important announcement ye hai ki judges tum sabse especially Kavin aur Purvi se bahot impress hue hai.

Pradyuman: Aur issiliye tum sabko 1 hafte baad Goa jaana hai.

All students start chatar-patar with each other.

Vibha: Yu samjhlo ki agle hafte Goa me ek bada singing competition hai jissme jodi hongi I mean it is also Duet singing competition aur judges ne hamare college ko bhi invite kiya hai.

Purvi: Hogaya satyanaash ye competition jeet gaye bina practice ka per waha kya hoga.

Ishita: Tu chinta naa kar.

Purvi: What chinta naa kar?

Sonia: ham waha jaake kuch jodiya change bhi karenge.

Purvi: Are waah bach gai. Mai meri jodi bhi change kara lungi.

Ishita: Kaha tha na chinta mat kar.

Vibha: Expect for the 3 winners.

Purvi: Hein satyanash.

Purvi loudly: Mam but I also wanted to change my partner.

Sonia: Definately not. You both are really perfect. Ekbaar ham bakiyo ki jodi change kar bhi de but tum dono ka bilkul nhi. Judges ne hamare college ko srif tum dono ke wajeh se invite kiya hai. Agar tumhari hi Jodi change kar diye to nhi chalega na beta.

Vibha: Aur hame bharosa hai ki Goa wala competition me bhi tum dono ki jodi hi 1st place ayegi.

Sonia: Exactly all you need is practicing properly.

Purvi: huh practice wowwwww kitni acchi practice karte haina ham.

Shreya: Pari shaant hojaa.

Vibha: Purvi beta tumhe koi problem hai kya Kavin se?

Purvi slowly: mujhe nhi usse mujhse hai.

Sonia: bolo beta.

Purvi: No mam.

Vibha: Aur Kavin Tumhe koi problem hai agar Purvi hi tumhari partner hui to?

Purvi slowly: Haa bol kutte.

Kavin: No mam

Purvi slowly: Hein?

Sonia: phir thik haina jab dono ko koi problem nhi.

Pradyuman: So sablog taiyaari karlo tumsabko agle hafte Goa jaana hai pure 2 hafto ke liye.

Students: Okay sir.

Sonia: Haa abhi sab jao aapne aapne room me bahot der ho gai hai soo jao subha lectures bhi Haina.

Vibha: And yaa again congratulations to all the winners.

All students are going to their rooms.

Avneet: Purvi congratulations yaar 1st place bahot accha gaya.

Purvi smiles: Thankyou di.

Siddharth: Sachme bahot mehnat ki hongi tum dono ne practice me. Aur dekho tumhari mehnat rang laayi.

Purvi's smiles fades and her face fell on listening this.

Siddharth: Are kya hua? Maine kuch galat keh diya kya?

Purvi: nhi nhi bhai kuch nhi mai chalti hu neendh aarhi hai.

Siddharth: Okay bye good night.

Avneet: Yaa good night Purvi. Purvi left.

Siddharth: Congratulations ishita aur divya tumlog ko bhi.

Ishita-divya: Thanks bhai.

Avneet: Mere taraf se bhi congratulations.

Ishita-divya: Aapko bhi thanks di.

Siddharth saw Kavin with Dushyant.

Siddharth: Are Kavin Dushyant congratulations.

Kavin-dushyant: Thanks.

Avneet: Kavin sachme kya gaaya hai ekdaam superb. Mujhe to words hi nhi mil rha bolne ko.

Ishita: Are di itni practice ki thi dono ne puchu mat din raat itni practice ki.

Avneet: Ussi ka tanijaa hai.

Kavin look at ishita. Ishita smiles fakely.

Ishita: Bahot practice ki thi na Kavin.

Kavin: Ummm hmmm haaa.

Siddharth Pov: Kuch to gadbad hai.

Avneet whispered in his ears: Yaa exactly kuch to gadbad hai.

Siddharth: Are maine to man me socha tha tumhe kaise sunai diya? Maine zorka bola kya?

Avneet: Ji nhi zor se nhi bola per mujhe tumhare dil ki baat samajh aagai.

Siddharth: Aaise mamlo me dil ki baat samjh aa jaati hai vaise mamlo me dil ki baat samjhna vo dur sunti bhi nhi.

Avneet: Vaise mamlo?

Siddharth: Kuch nhi. Abhi filhaal iss baat per dhyan do ki ye Kavin aur Purvi ka chakkar kya hai?

Avneet: Kuch to bada chakkar hai pata lagana padega.

Siddharth: hmm.
