It's Sunday and I am here with the next part of this story. Apologies for delay as I was caught up with my work.

"PLEASE WAKE UP DEV, SEE YOUR SONA IS HERE. STOP BEING STUBBORN & PLEASE WAKE UP MR.OBODHRO" said Sonakshi just as she felt a twitch on her hand that was holding his as her eyes darted towards his face and as she saw him a smile formed on her face, Dev was trying to flick his eyes open as Sonakshi caressed his cheek and said.

"DEV" she said as tears of joy sprang from her eyes while tried to speak "So...Sona...Sonakshi" while her lips curved into an upward smile listening to his voice as she breathed a sigh of relief, it was first time since the news of his accident that she could finally feel at peace.

She quickly got up and went outside to call the doctor who came in along with a nurse while Dev was still semi-conscious trying to open his eyes, the doctor checked the pulse and his blood pressure as Dev seemed to drift back into his sleep again. Sonakshi panicked seeing Dev once again closing his eyes.

"Don't worry Dr.Bose, He is fine now. It's just because of the medicines that he has drifted back into his sleep. He should be awake in an hour or so once the effect of the medicines end. Don't worry" he said as Sonakshi nodded. The doctor and the nurse left as Asha and Bijoy entered the room along with Saurabh.

"Sona beta, Dev kaisa hai Abhi?" asked Asha in a concerned tone, her heart pricked seeing the state Dev was in while Bijoy just looked on.

"Dev abhi theek hai Maa, Doctor ne abhi check kiya. Ek aur ghantey main inhey hosh aa jayega" she said as everyone nodded.

"Sona beta, tuney subah se kuch nahi khaya. Chalkey kuch kha le beta" said Bijoy as Sonakshi denied it, "Nahi Baba, jab tak Dev ko hosh nahi aa jata main kahi nahi jaungi" she said as Asha and Bijoy smiled as each other, their daughter could get really stubborn at times.

"Accha, Dev ke gharwaley dikh nahi rahey hai kahan hai wo?" asked Asha as Sonakshi realized that in her panic and fear she had not observed that no one from the Dixit family was there at the hospital which was unusual, just as she was about to reply Saurabh spoke.

"Wo Maa, Mujhey Dr.Sinha ne bataya ki wo log Delhi se bahar gaye hai. Unhey yahan pohunch ney main aur teen ghantey lagengey" said Saurabh as everyone absorbed the information.

"Bijoy ek kaam karo, Tum ghar jao main aur Saurabh yahan Sona ke saath ruktey hai" said Asha as Bijoy was about to retort but the glare of Asha stopped him from speaking anything. As Bijoy left Asha asked Saurabh to get a coffee for Sonakshi while they waited for Dev to regain consciousness.

On the other hand, the Dixit family was on their way to the hospital, ever since they were informed about Dev's accident tears refused to cease from Ishwari's or any of his sister's eyes. While Ranveer was trying to calm down Neha and the other sisters, Mamaji was trying to calm down Ishwari.

"Ishwari, Shaant ho Jaa. Dekh Dev ko kuch nahi hoga" said Mamaji as Ishwari cried silently, ever since she heard about the accident she had not spoken a word.

"Jiji, Ye sahi keh rahey hai. Aap dekhna humarey Dev ko kuch nahi hoga" said Radharani as Ishwari just looked at her laying her head down on her brother's shoulder.

"Waisey Jiji, Ek baat kahun. Jabsey aapney Dev aur Uss Bangalan ke rishtey ko manzoori di hai tabsey kuch na kuch bura ho raha hai. Pehley aap bimar pad gayi aur ab Dev..." she said cunningly but before she could continue Mamaji interrupted.

"Chup Ho jaa Radharani, Kab kya baat karni chahhiye itni si bhi akal nahi hai tujhmey. Agar kisi ke liye kuch aacha nahi bol sakti toh kam se kam bura to mat bol" said Mamaji sonorously as Radharani replied "Ji, mainey kya galat kaha? Main to sach hi..." she said but once again Mamaji stopped her.

"Bas, ekdam chup. Warna yahin gadi se nikal dunga tujhey. Phir chalkey aa jana ghar" he said in an angry tone as she gulped down in fear and kept quiet. But unknown to them the words had exactly the desired effect on Ishwari which Radharani had expected, Ishwari's fears increased by leaps and bounds, if before it was just her insecurities now Mami's words were indicating that it was the question of her son's life as well, she just waited to arrive at the hospital, praying fervently for her son's well-being.

"The wedding hall was reverberating with the sounds of Shehnai and bustling noise of people as Dev waited near the mandap waiting for his lady love. He was donning his marriage attire, on one side he could see the happy faces of his sisters while on the side he could see his mother and Mamaji greeting their relatives. Finally, the day had arrived when he would make her officially his. He was getting impatient just as everyone went quiet looking at the person who had just entered the hall. Dev's eyes darted towards the person as well and as soon as he saw the person a bright smile formed on his face for it was the person for whom he was waiting for. But the next moment as he looked closely he was shocked, why had she come like that. She was not donning her marriage attire, instead she was wearing a plain pink coloured Salwar with a green dupatta, her face indicated that she had been crying for long while her hairs were unruly, he saw a frown form on his mother's face while his sisters looked at him and the person in pity. People were whispering among themselves, unable to control himself anymore he moved towards her and just as he was about to take her into a bone crushing hug she disappeared and all he did was embrace thin hair, he was flabbergasted as heard a laughter, it was hers as he looked in the direction of the laughter as he saw her. He quickly moved towards her, but she kept moving away from him laughing eerily unnerving him, he kept moving towards her, but she kept moving away. Finally, he reached her and just as he was about to touch her she disappeared into thin air....."

"SONAKSHI...." screamed Dev as Sonakshi who had just caught a wink keeping her head on the bed on which he lied got up in panic listening to his scream and that was when she saw Dev had got up with tears in his eyes, he was looking here and there, fear and panic was clearly visible on his face as she quickly got up and caressed his cheeks trying to calm him down.

"Dev.." she spoke as his head turned towards her and as soon as he saw her with his free left hand which was not hurt much he took her into a bone-crushing hug as Sonakshi did not have time to react, she was worried with his reaction.

"Ah..." he winced in pain as Sonakshi got up quickly and caressed his right hand which was paining.

"Dev..Kya hua? Tum theek ho?" she asked in a concerned tone as Dev looked at her, his heart pricked that even after hurting her, here she was concerned for him. Her eyes and tear stained face showed that she had been crying for long as he mentally scolded himself, he was the reason for his tears.

"I am sorry Sonakshi" he said as Sonakshi was left speechless unable to understand why he said so

"I am sorry for hurting you Sonakshi" he said again as Sonakshi kept her fingers on his lips stopping him from speaking further.

"Why are saying sorry Dev?" she asked as Dev kept looking at her, but the next moment he turned his head away unable to look into her eyes which had nothing but love in them but all he did was give her pain.

"Look towards me Dev" she said and holding his head turned his head towards him and continued "Look at me Dev and tell me why you are apologizing" she asked as Dev turned his head away once again.

"Don't Sonakshi, don't do that I do not deserve it" he said as Sonakshi was left tongue-tied unable to comprehend why he was saying so, she could see tears in his eyes which pricked her heart.

"Dev, first stop crying and look at me" she said sternly as Dev turned his head to look at her.

"Now tell me what's bothering you?" she asked as Dev kept quiet while Sonakshi asked again "Tell me Dev, what's bothering you?"

"I am sorry for putting you through so much pain Sonakshi, I am sorry for asking you to forget me when I myself cannot do that. I am sorry for taking the decision of ending our relationship without asking you even once. I am sorry for not being able to stand up for our relationship. I am really sorry Sonakshi. I do not deserve your love, I don't deserve it" he spoke morosely as tears flowed from his eyes while tears formed in Sonakshi's eyes as well.

She just held his face and getting up from her place, she latched her lips with his for a soul-searing kiss. What words could not convey the kiss conveyed it. The love, the pain, the anger, the happiness, the sadness every emotion of hers was conveyed to him through that one kiss.

As both came out of it, Sonakshi blushed and hid her face in his chest as Dev smiled, once again she understood him without the need of any words.

"Why do you love me so much Sonakshi?" he asked as Sonakshi replied "For the very same reason for which you love me so much Dev" as he was left speechless, she was different from others and he was being a fool to hurt her.

"I am sorry" he said once again as Sonakshi quickly replied "Enough Dev, you don't need to apologize"

"No Sonakshi, I was being a fool to think that by keeping you away from me I was saving you from the pain, but I did not realize that being away from me will hurt you even more than being with me. I was a fool to think that I can survive without you but see it was not even an hour and I was about to lose my life, I failed to realize that I left my life the moment I left you" he spoke as Sonakshi hushed him by keeping her fingers on his lips.

"Dare you speak anything like that Dev, I will get angry again" she said and turned her face away from him while he held his ear with his left hand and spoke "I am sorry" and made the puppy face which he knew she could not resist and that's what happened, one look at him and her melted as she just took his hand and kissed it.

"Don't you dare speak like that again Dev" she said and laid beside him as he made space for her while holding her with his left hand.

"JUST STAY BY MY SIDE SONAKSHI, JUST STAY BY SIDE" he said as she replied "I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU DEV, NEVER" as both smiled contently.

"And by the way thank you for accepting what I have been saying for so many days" she said after few moments as Dev looked at her in surprise and said "What?"

"Thank you for accepting that you are a fool" she said and laughed as he chuckled, happy that even in pain they were able to share these moments, he once again made a mental note of not hurting the girl who was beside him, she was special, and he needed to treasure her. Talking sweet nothings both drifted into the land of nod.

All this while Asha who was standing near the door of the room listening to their whole conversation wiped the tears from her eyes, happy that the two were together and so much in love, they deserved their happiness and she would help them.

An hour later the Dixits arrived at the hospital, Ishwari hurried into Dev's room.

"Dev" she said as she entered the room as it broke the slumber of both Dev and Sonakshi but the next moment Ishwari stopped in her tracks seeing their entwined hands, her heart bled. Controlling her emotions, she moved towards him and caressed his hairs as she spoke.

"Kaisa hai ab tu, Dev?" as Dev smiled at her while Sonakshi got up to leave the room understanding that the mother-son duo needed their privacy but the next moment she stopped in her tracks, FOR DEV CLUTCHED HER HAND GESTURING HER TO STAY BY HIS SIDE.

I know you might find the story boring but this story is mainly to show the various POVs of different characters and how they find themselves in difficult situation and try to handle it, so my sincere apologies if you find it boring and feel you have wasted your precious time reading it, really sorry☹️☹️.
