"TUM YAHAN?" said a surprised Sonakshi as soon as she saw the person who was standing at the door, but before the person could respond two more people yelled from behind.

"Surprise" they screamed as Sonakshi closed her eyes in fear for a moment at the sudden intrusion and after a few seconds opened it and was astonished while the first person scolded the other two "Nikki, Riya Ye kya bachpana hai Dara diya na tum logon ne Dr. Bose ko" said the person who was none other than Neha who had come along with her sisters to the Bose house while Sonakshi who was still recovering from the sudden shock stood with her mouth open wide.

"Sona Di, Apna mooh toh band kar lijiye warna makhi ghus jayegi" she said laughing and high-fied Riya who said "Nikki, Tu inhey Sona Di kyun bula rahi hai. Ye toh ab humari Sona Bhabhi hai" she said as Nikki agreed to her while a light blush formed on Sonakshi's face as she ducked to hide it from the sisters.

"Ho gaya tum dono ka" said Neha as both the sisters turned quiet, turning towards Sonakshi she said, "Dr. Bose, I am sorry ki hum teeno nona bataye itni subah aapkey ghar aaye hai" as Sonakshi replied "Arey Neha, Aisey kyun bol rahi ho, tum teeno jab chahey yahan aa sakti ho" she said as the sisters smiled at her.

"Sona, Kaun aaya hai" said Asha as she approached the door and as she saw the sisters she was also surprised "Arey Tum teeno yahan? Aur Sona tuney inhey aisey bahar khada karvakey kyun rakha hai?" she scolded her daughter and continued "Aao bachon, andar aao" she said and ushered the trio inside the house as Sonakshi closed the door and followed them.

AT ISHWARI NIWAS

While at the Dixit house Radharani along with Mamaji and Ishwari were sitting on the dining table for their breakfast, after a few moments Kichu served them the breakfast.

"Maaji, Wo aaj aapkey Dopahar ke khaaney main kya banana hai" he asked Ishwari who was surprised as generally it would be Sonakshi who would instruct Kichu to prepare the lunch for everyone based on the diet chart that she would prepare for everyone.

"Arey Kichu, Wo Sonakshi sey pooch le ki dopahar ke khaaney main kya banega" said Ishwari as Kichu replied "Maaji, Par Doctor Didi toh abhi tak aayi nahi"

"Kya aayi nahi abhi tak? Par Sonakshi har rozz to hiss waqt tak aa jaati hai" she said in surprise wondering why she was late today, but Mamiji on the other hand found this a perfect opportunity to berate Sonakshi as she said "Haye Haye Jiji, Dekha aapney ye bangalan kitni gair zimmedar ho gayi hai. Ye toh ab tak iss ghar ki bahu bhi bani nahi hai aur abhi se dekhiye iski harkatein. Apni zimmedariyon ka koi ehsaas hi nahi hai isey" she said with a vicious undertone as Ishwari frowned listening to her, but to Mamiji's bad luck Dev who had just got down for his breakfast heard every word of Mamiji as anger surged through him. He was already tensed regarding a project going on in the office and now hearing Mamiji's rant against Sonakshi snapped his restraint.

"Mamiji" he spoke in a loud voice as she shuddered in fear while Dev continued "Mainey aapsey pehle bhi kaha hai ki bina baat jaaney aisey kisi ke baarey main baat mat kijiye" he said sonorously as it was Ishwari who replied "Dev, Mami toh bass..." but she was cut off by Dev "Nahi Maa, ye har baar Sonakshi ke baarey main kuch na kuch galat kehti hain aur wo bhi badon ka lihaz karkey humesha chup rehti hai, Lekin iska matlab ye nahi ki usey bura nahi lagta hoga. Bas abb aur nahi, main aap sey aakhri baar keh raha hoon Mamiji, aayinda aapney agar Sonakshi ya phir kisi aur ke baarey main bhi bura bhala kaha toh aacha nahi hoga" he said as Mamiji hung her head down while Ishwari was flabbergasted, the Dev she knew never shouted on any family member let alone any elder but from the last few days he had raised his voice, once again her fear and insecurities regarding Sonakshi flared up.

"Lekin Dev, Bhabhi toh bass yeh keh rahi thi ki Sonakshi aaj abhi tak aayi nahi hai" she said in a rude tone which Dev did not miss

"SONAKSHI AAJ SE KAAM PE NAHI AAYEGI MAA" he replied as everyone was shocked.

AT BOSE HOUSE

As they reached inside the other Bose family members welcomed them, it was the first time that anyone from the Dixit family apart from Dev had come to their house which had made them very happy. After some general talks Asha said "Sona, Tum inn teeno ko apney kamrey main le jao. Main tum logon ke liye coffee bhijwati hoon" as Sonakshi nodded and along with the sisters proceeded to Sonakshi's room.

"Wow Sona Di, Kitna aacha room hai apka. Ekdam cosy cosy sa homely wala feeling hai yahan" said Riya as they reached Sonakshi's room while Neha and Nikki agreed to her as Sonakshi replied "Thank you Riya"

"Sach main Dr. Bose kaafi accha ghar hai aap ka" said Neha while Sonakshi nodded her head lightly acknowledging the appreciation as just then Saurav entered the room "Sona, Wo tujhey Maa bula rahi hai" he said as Sonakshi replied "Kyun Dada?"

"Wo Neha, Riya aur Nikki aaj pehli baar ghar aaye hai na toh Maa unkey liye kuch Bengali special Khana banana chahti hai toh iss liye tujhey bula rahi hai" he said but before Sonakshi could reply Neha cut in.

"Saurav Bhaiya, humarey liye aunty ko khamakha itni takleef karney ki koi zaroorat nahi hai" she said as Saurav replied "Arey takleef kaisi, Tum teeno aaj pehli baar humarey ghar aayi ho toh aisey thodey na jaaney denge, aur waisey bhi Tumharey bahaney main bhi apney favorite items banva loonga" said the eternal foodie Saurav as everyone laughed.

"Correct Saurav Dada, aapney bilkul sahi kaha. Aur Neha Di, mujhey toh Bengali cuisine kaafi pasand hai. Toh main toh ye opportunity jaaney nahi doongi" said Nikki and she continued "Saurav Dada, chaliye main aati hoon aapkey saath, Riya Di aap bhi chaliye" she said as Riya agreed while along with them even Sonakshi went to get the coffee for Neha.

AT ISHWARI NIWAS

"Ye Tu kya keh raha hai Dev, Kaam pe nahi aayegi matlab? Sonakshi ne naukri chodd di kya?" asked a stunned Ishwari though somewhere in her heart there was happiness that Sonakshi would not be there in the house anymore.

"Usney Naukri Choddi nahi hai Maa, Mainey usey kaha hai ki wo apney career pe zyada dhyan de" said Dev as Ishwari looked even more perplexed and asked "Matlab?"

"Dekh na Maa Sonakshi pichley 4 mahino se yahan kaam kar rahi hai aur uska kaam bas yahan iss ghar main simat ke reh gaya hai jabki wo pehley jab Hospital main kaam karti thi toh kitney logon ki khaaney ka unki tabiyat ka khayal rakhti thi, Toh mainey hi usey kaha ki wo phir se Hospital join kar le" said Dev as Mamaji asked.

"Par Dev Beta Ishwari ki tabiyat, Uskey khaaney ka kya?" he said concerned for his sister.

"Mamaji Sonakshi har haftey Maa ke reports ke hisab se uska diet chart banake bhej degi aur phir jab bhi Maa ka check up karna hoga ya toh wo yahan aa jayegi ya phir hum wahan Maa ko le jayenge" said Dev as Mamaji nodded.

"Aur phir Sonakshi ko bhi kuch courses karney they toh uskey liye bhi usey waqt mill jayega. Aur Waisey bhi baat toh kuch hi dino ki hai na Mamaji phir toh Sonakshi humesha ke liye iss ghar main aa jayegi" he said with a smile reiterating the fact that it was only Sonakshi who would be his better half and the future daughter-in-law of Ishwari Niwas.

"Theek hai Dev jaisa tu Theek samjhey" said Ishwari as Dev smiled, getting up after finishing his breakfast he took the blessings of his elders and left for his office.

As soon as Dev left Radharani went to Ishwari "Accha hua Jiji ki wo Bangalan iss ghar se chali gayi, ab aap Dev ke saath zyada se zyada waqt guzar sakti hai" she said viciously as Ishwari stood quietly, somewhere a tiny bit of guilt and sadness gnawing her heart but why was it so?

AT BOSE HOUSE

While at the Bose house Neha was roaming around in Sonakshi's room observing various things her cupboard, her medical books, the paintings of Bose & Tagore which hung on the walls and finally her eyes settled on the photos which hung on one of the walls, the photographs were of the Bose family.

There was one with the whole Bose family in it, one with only Saurabh and Sonakshi in their childhood as she watched the unbridled laugh and joy on their faces, one where Sonakshi was dressed as a tree for a school Drama as Neha laughed seeing it, then there was one where Sonakshi and Saurabh were completely colored probably taken during Holi and another in which Sonakshi was tying a rakhi to Saurabh. So, lost was she in looking at the photos that she did not hear Sonakshi enter the room.

"Coffee" said Sonakshi as Neha turned towards her and smiled, taking the cup from her hand she turned back towards the photos as Sonakshi closely observed her wondering why Neha was looking at them continuously.

"Kaafi achi photos hai Dr. Bose" she said after a few moments sipping the coffee as Sonakshi smiled and replied "Sonakshi" while Neha looked at her in surprise as Sonakshi continued "Tum mujhey Sonakshi bula sakti ho Neha" she said as Neha smiled.

"How does it feel to have a complete family Sonakshi. How does it feel to have a happy childhood? How does it feel to have your wishes fulfilled or not struggling for the basic needs Sonakshi" asked Neha still looking at the photos as Sonakshi was taken by surprise, she did not understand why Neha was asking her such questions, she stood quietly not knowing what to answer as Neha turned to look at her and could see a questioning look on her face.

"Aap yahi soch rahi hai naa ki main aap sey aisey sawal kyun pooch rahi hoon?" asked Neha as Sonakshi nodded her head in agreement.

"Pata hai Sonakshi, jab hum chotey they Papa ke jaaney ke baad se hum logon ne kaafi struggle ki thi. Maa ghar ghar jaakey kaam karti thi, bhai toh padai aur kaam dono ek saath kartey they. Riya aur Nikki toh chotey they aur main unka khayal rakhti thi" she said as slight tears glistened her eyes remembering her childhood as Sonakshi's eyes became moist as well, she had heard all this from Dev but every time she heard it she felt the pain in her heart as well.

"Mera bachpan ka sapna tha Sonakshi ki main ek fashion designer banoo, lekin haalat kuch aisey they ki mujhey toh padhney ka mauka hi nahi mila aur pata hai iskey liye main Maa aur Bhai ko dosh deti thi ki unki wajah se mera sapna toot gaya" she said as Sonakshi just kept quiet listening to her.

"Pata hai Sonakshi Papa ke jaaney ke baad se humari family kabhi ek complete family thi hi nahi, wo kya kehtey hum ek Dys...Dysf..." stammered Neha struggling to find the right word as Sonakshi replied "Dysfunctional?"

"Haan hum ek Dysfunctional Family ban gaye" she said as Sonakshi gave a sad smile while Neha continued.

"Aap yahi soch rahi hai naa ki main aapsey ye sab baatein kyun kar rahi hoon?" she asked as Sonakshi nodded her head in agreement.

"MAINEY CAFÉ' MAIN AAPKI AUR BHAI KI BAATEIN SUN LI THI SONAKSHI" she said as Sonakshi looked shocked.

I am trying to keep it as realistic as possible but if you do not find it then please do let me know through your comments, I will try to improve and make it more realistic.
