Not necessarily unpopular, just opinions

None of these are hate so don't worry uwu

1. Shipping isn't that bad.

Now, a lot of people have been bashing shipping recently, and it's honestly pretty pointless.

I understand that idols are real people, and that there are some people who take shipping WAY too far, but most of the time it's just for fun and completely harmless. So people need to stop acting like we're devil worshippers or something.

2. Blackpink doesn't deserve the hate.

There's been a lot of hate towards them recently, and I honestly think it's pretty dumb.

Yeah, okay, maybe they don't have as strong of a stage presence as other popular groups, but they still try. And keep in mind that they're not as experienced as most super popular groups, they only debuted in 2016 and YG has barely given them any comebacks.

A lot of people didn't like their American television debut, and I get why. Their performances weren't perfect. But it's a whole new type of audience, and they were probably super nervous, and you don't know what's going on behind the scenes. I've seen a lot of people comparing it to BTS's American TV debut, and while I agree that their performances were much stronger than Blackpink's, they were also more experienced. So I think people need to lay off a bit.

They're all talented and sweet people, so don't hate on them. Constructive criticism is great, but if you're just going to say "Blackpink is untalented and lazy" and not say anything constructive, then the door's that way 👉🏻🚪

3. The "oFfEnSiVe" unpopular K-Pop opinions trend should stop.

I'm all for sharing opinions in a kind and respectful way, but it seems like people are just putting "offensive" in the title so that they can insult idols and get away with it because they're sO uNiQuE aNd EdGy HeE hEe!1!1!1!

4. Shipwars and fanwars are dumb.

The groups that you're putting against each other have no beef, and the ships you're fighting for probably aren't going to be real anyway. So stop. Calm down. Have some hot chocolate and chill.

5. Mamamoo is underrated and deserves to be one of the top girl groups.

Yeah they have a couple popular songs, but other than that, I barely see them get any appreciation or attention from people who aren't Moomoos, which sucks because they have all the talent and personality ☹️

6. Shipping girl groups with BTS isn't going to bring the apocalypse.

I don't do this and obviously most of these ships are unlikely, but most people seem to overreact about it. Yeah, I guess it can be a bit cringey sometimes but honestly who cares? It's not hurting anyone so people should stop being mean about it.

Also, I've noticed that in fanfics (BTS fanfics to be specific), when one of the members is shipped with a female idol, people freak out, even if it's just a background ship or a ship to make sure that one of the members doesn't end up alone. Even if I don't ship it outside the fanfic, some of these have cute relationships in the book so I really don't mind it at all. However, it seems like when they're shipped with other male idols, people think it's adorable. Don't get me wrong, I do too sometimes. But it seems like people have a hatred of heterosexuality in fanfics or just girls in general, and it's pretty annoying to say the least.
