I start to cry. I run to our room crying and slam open the door. I stand at the door crying with my mom staring at me. "I, I, I saw the death board." I say crying still. "Who?" my mom says. "Jack and 8 others from Dragon Fever. So 9 of 10 people from Dragon Fever," I say. I hug my mom and tears stream down our faces.

"Where is Maya?" I finally ask. "She looked sick so I sent her to the doctor and she came back saying she had Dragon Fever so she went to the hospital. I go on my bed and lay there to cry. Then I fall asleep from crying.

Author's Note

Sorry this chapter is so short! Jack is Sofa's brother (who is dead) and Gale is best friend and the story is from Sofa's point of view. The hospital is also just a place where the people that are sick go (like a cold ) or hert. The hospital is also like a hospital.
