Sharon nervously rings the bell on the house she lived in for the last three years. She shudders and if she hadn't had Darrin at her side she would have bolted before any one could answer the door.

Darrin noticed her shudder and put his arm around her, it was enough. By the time Tristan himself answers the door Sharon is standing straight and tall once more and ready to face her ex.

Tristan doesn't notice Darrin at her side at first. "Sharon, thank you for coming over so quickly. Please come inside." There is a dark note to voice that Sharon didn't like at all.

"I don't think so, Townsend. There is no need for her to enter that house. You can hand over the credit card now." Darrin says in no uncertain tones.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Tristan snarls.

Darrin smiles rather nastily, kinda like a shark seeing it's prey just ahead and it being unaware. "Sharon invited us all along to go car shopping with her, but didn't trust you to actually give her the card or not cause her problems."

"I wouldn't do that!" Tristan nearly yells at the older gentleman.

"Yeah right," Sharon says once more getting Tristan's attention on her.  "Just like you fulfilled all the codicils for the marriage contract. You know, like treat me with respect, have those of family/friends and servants treat me with respect, etc, etc, etc."

Tristan flushes in anger and moves towards her.

Darrin takes a protective stance in front of her. Sharon puts a hand on his arm, "It's okay, Darrin, Tristan isn't going to hurt me at this time. Not with the cameras that are recording everything."

Tristan's eyes get wide, "You still have them recording?" He swears under his breath.

"Of course, until I receive the full settlement from the divorce they will continue running. After that, I won't have a reason to continue filming you. You will be nothing more than a bad memory of a bad decision on my part."

Sharon could tell that Tristan is angry and grinding his teeth together to keep from saying or doing anything to her.

"All you have to do is hand over the card or would you rather she buy the car and then send you the bill?" Darrin says softly, but the very softness makes Tristan take notice of Darrin more closely. Seeing the anger in Darrin's eyes he slowly moves to remove his wallet and from the wallet remove a card.

"There should be enough on the card to get whatever you want on that same model car. If you choose to get a different model I can't guarantee there will be."

Sharon takes the card that Darrin had taken from Tristan, "I'm sure this will be fine as long as you don't try to make problems for me." Sharon looks Tristan dead in the eyes, "For instance, should I try to use it and they say the card is stolen, that would not be a good thing."

Tristan looks startled. He had thought about doing that, but then he noticed the Northrup brothers were with her and decided it wouldn't be worth the pain they'd give him. He still doesn't fully believe that she is their sister. There has been no mention of their mother having a fifth child or there being a younger sister anywhere that he could find.

"Sharon, we do need to talk." Tristan says as they turn to leave.

"I have nothing more to say to you. Darrin or one of the others will return this card to you after we are finished buying my car." Sharon turns to him as she leaves and finishes with, "If you had just followed the marriage contract as you helped to write then things would have been much different, for both of us. You made your choices and I am just living by what you decided. I had hoped for friendship, expected respect and instead found hell. You made my life hell, mostly by not stopping the disrespect by others, but you also broke Penny's heart and she didn't deserve that. She truly loved you, but I don't think you have a clue what love really is.

"Instead of standing by my side you allowed a mean, vicious, nasty bitch to make my life a living hell. Now, she, you and your butler are going to be paying the price for that.

"Any further communications must be through my lawyer, Lawrence Shoemaker. Goodbye Tristan. I hope someday you are able to realize what your actions caused." Sharon turns her back on Tristan one last time and walks with Darrin to the car.

Darrin however turns his dark gaze on the younger man and he shivers in trepidation and it becomes full blown tremors as Darrin smiles at him. It's a smile so dark and wicked that he has no doubt that his troubles are just starting. He'd heard about how vindictive the Northrup family could be and after Sharon's works this day he has no doubts that it's in her DNA.

He steps back into his house swallowing hard to get it past the hard knot in his throat. Just what hell has he brought to rain down on him now?

Sharon smiling brightly goes to the car and the door opens for her by Joshua before he moves over to let her in.

"Now, it's off to go car shopping." Sharon says. She hadn't really liked it all that much before, but at least she knows what she wants and where to get it.

She had already instructed the driver on where to go. About half an hour after they left her ex's house they pull into the dealership. She waits for a salesman to come up to her, but they don't.

She looks around and finds several working but they look over at her and sneer before going back to talking to their coworker.

It isn't until Darrin joins her that they come over to talk.

"I think I've changed my mind, Darrin. They don't seem to think that I'm good enough to buy one of their cars." Sharon says it loudly enough that the salesman looks at her once more and before turning back to Darrin.

Darrin looks at the man before him and demands, "Are you ignoring a customer for a reason?"

"Sir, these vehicles are all very expensive. I'm sure that she can't afford one."

"You're right Sharon, they don't think a Northrup is good enough for one of their vehicles. Let's go to another dealership. I'll be making sure that the owner knows about how his sales people treat their customers."

At Darrin's words the salesman's face turns ashen. "Northrup?"

"Yeah, just because she doesn't waste her money on designer clothes and accessories doesn't mean she doesn't have the money." Darrin says even as Joshua glares at the salesman in front of him and the other brother's glare at the other sales people.

Darrin and the others surround Sharon and usher her back to their car.

"I told the driver to take us to the next dealership that sells this type of car. He said it will take about an hour or so to get there."

Sharon says in  a soft voice, "Thank you."

The brothers are all furious that her day was ruined by those asses that wouldn't assist her.
