"Wow, that was far more painful than I meant for it to be. Z once more I am sorry. Guys, if I ask a question and you don't want or feel comfortable answering, please say something. I never want to cause anyone such unintentional pain."

"I noticed you said unintentional," Darrin says but unsure how she'll react to him now he hides his amusement.

"Oh, there is generally no unintentional pain given by me, if I do, please let me know and I'll apologize. But the pain I generally give is very intentional and very thorough." Sharon says but is looking Darrin in the eyes as she does so. "Although, right now, I'm not so sure that I'm really wanted as part of this family. I think I might have over stayed my welcome at this point."

The others are quick to reassure her but she is waiting for the one that has yet to speak and slowly the others come to realize that as well.

"That's what I thought. Thank you for the chance to get to know you all a bit better. Z if you would let Delaney know my number I would appreciate it. I just need a few minutes to pack and I'll let you all get back to normal." Sharon says and leaves the rest of her uneaten food.

The brothers are staring in anger at their oldest brother. Finally he sighs and follows Sharon to her room.

"There isn't a need for you to pack. I am sorry for what I said earlier. I do want you to be a part of this family. I guess I have more than a little of father's pride and you are very good at destroying pride. Please, stay and give us another chance. The others likely won't ever speak to me again unless it's business related if you leave. If you can't forgive me, please stay for them and I'll stay away from you."

"You know, Darrin, I was beginning to like you. Then you come in demanding answers that are very personal and painful of one of your brothers and you show that they are indeed your brothers and not mine. No matter what you say, I'm not really one of you. There is you and there are your brothers but I don't think there is room for a sister in there anywhere." Sharon finishes packing up her things before looking back at Darrin.

"I'm going to leave now. If after you think things through you and your brothers and you still want to get to know me, you know where to find me." Sharon tells him and picks up her things. Darrin is quick to grab some that she didn't have a good hold on.

"Sharon, please, the others are more than sure that they want  you in their lives. I am sure that I want you in my life. Stay, please."

"That's the thing, though, I'm not sure I want you." Sharon says and starts walking away. Z takes the photos from her and gives Darrin a dark look as he leaves with her.

"You fucked up, Darrin. Now she doesn't want us as part of her life. We've waited so long to get her here and in just minutes, seconds really you made it so she doesn't want to have anything to do with us. She doesn't need the job, she doesn't need our money and she doesn't need more disrespect in her life. So just how are we going  to get her to want to come back to us?" Joshua says disgusted before leaving the penthouse.

"You know how much she was disrespected while she was married to Townsend, what the hell were you thinking?" Michael, the quiet brother that had never talked back to him before demands before he too leaves the penthouse.

"Shit!" Darrin says allowing his anger at himself to take over. By the time he's done the room is fully destroyed and his anger isn't lessened even a little. He goes to his room and changes.

In the little gym the hotel has for guests Darrin gets on the treadmill and starts running. As he does his anger lessens and he's finally able to think things through. He starts forming a plan on how to win his sister's forgiveness.

Before Z leaves after talking to Sharon for some time there is a knock at her door. Opening it Sharon says with confusion. "Yes?"

"Are you Sharon Carmichael?" The stranger asks.

"Yes, I am."

The man nods and speaks into his phone she hadn't noticed him holding. "Right, it's the right apartment bring them up." Then he hands her a tablet and says, "Sign here please."

"What is this?" Sharon asks more than a little confused.

"I guess someone is feeling either very lovey dovey or very guilty about something." The man with the tablet tells her before motioning to the people that step off the elevator.

Sharon stares in shock as the elevator goes down and shortly comes back once more with still more people. The people are all carrying vases of flowers and potted plants, bouquets of balloons and vases with flowers and balloons. Then come the people carrying the toys. Soon there isn't room to place any further vases or bouquets or toys.

In the background she could hear Z doing his best to not laugh. "Excuse me, sir? Is there much more?" Sharon asks astounded that her house could hold so much.

"Yes, about three more car loads." The man tells her distractedly.

"Okay, how about we take those to the hospital and have them given to the children and elderly that are there."

The man thinks about it and then looks once more into her room. "I guess that would be okay as long as you take the cards that are in the deliveries."

"Fine, I'll go down and get the cards, but seriously, could you take the toys at least back and deliver them to the hospital pediatric ward?"

The man smiles as he notices Z going through and removing the cards that are attached to each arrangement. "I'll get my people here and do that if you will go down and get those other cards and accept something we haven't brought in yet. The gentleman that ordered this was rather emphatic that you get the last item."

A little lost at all this Sharon nods and heads down to the street. She makes her way to where the delivery people were. They being helpful hand her some cards and as she gets closer to the vehicles others hand her more cards. Once she gets to the vehicles she has her hands full of cards when a delivery person steps out of the vehicle with a stuffed animal, she thinks it's a dog that is actually bigger than she is.

"What the hell?" Sharon asks as the man comes closer, "I was told that you agreed to accept this if we take the other stuff to the hospital."

"I'm not even sure I can lift that." Sharon says eyeing the huge animal.

The man smiles at her, "I will be more than happy to take this in for you. I also want to thank you. My little sister has been hospitalized for weeks, getting a new toy will absolutely make her day."

"I'm so sorry to hear about your sister being in the hospital. I hope she will be getting better soon."

The man looks away from her with tears in his eyes, "No, she has stage four leukemia. The doctors don't give her much time to live."

By now they are nearing her door. "What's your sister's name?" Sharon says sadly.

"Kelly Starsworth." Sharon finds her purse and hopes that there is cash in there.

She finds some cash but is upset at how little there is. "It's alright, Sharon, I have tipped those that came in here." Z tells her.

Sharon nods and hands the cash she did find to the one that carried the giant animal in for her.

"I know that your whole family is likely helping to pay the medical bill. Please, let me help  as well." The man stops his protest at her words.

"Thank you, Miss. That's very generous of you." The man leaves torn between a smile and tears.

"Wow, how much did you give him?" Z asks coming up to her.

"Not enough. Would you be willing to give me a ride to the hospital?" Sharon still doesn't have a car, she expects to have one soon though. She knows that Tristan is out on bail and she warned him that if she doesn't have the money and car within three days that she'll be taking him to court on breaking the divorce contract.

"I would be honored." Z says and can't wait to see what his little sister will be doing. While she goes to grab her purse and keys he makes a call and let's his brother's know they are going to the hospital.

"How did she like the things?" Darrin asks him anxiously.

"She sent more than half of them to the hospital. There really was no room in her place for all that shit."

"Was she pleased enough to forgive me?" Darrin once more asks concernedly.

"Yeah, or at least overwhelmed. You'll have to ask her how she feels about them." Z tells him and then hangs up before he can say anything else.

Z opens the door for Sharon before getting in himself. He notices that she is starting to read the notes. She starts giggling before outright laughing.

"What's so funny?" Z asks smiling as well. Her laughter is rather contagious.

"I'm an ass, please forgive me." Sharon tells him bursting out in laughter once more. It takes her a bit of time before she calms down. "That's what every single note says and it's signed, Darrin."

"Well, you can't say that he's lying now can you?" Z says a bit snarkily.

"Nope," Sharon says giggling once more. It doesn't seem to take any time to get to the hospital. Already Sharon is seeing many of the vases being delivered to various patients rooms. She had instructed the delivery men to tell the nurses to give them to those that don't receive visitors or gifts, especially the elderly.

Sharon makes her way to the bills payable department and asks to make a payment on Kelly Starworth's account.

"I can't give you any information on that account." The female tells her.

"I'm not asking for information, I'm telling you that I want to make a payment. I don't need to know how much is owed or what the account number is. You just have to pull up that information and take my card."

Finally the lady reluctantly agrees and asks how much she would like to pay.

Sharon immediately responds, "Three thousand." She wishes she could do more, but if she is going to make the fund to help the families of those in ICU she won't be able to.

"Then when you are done with my sister, keep the account up. I'll be making a payment as well." Z tells the shocked lady.

The lady takes the card numbly and runs it through half expecting it to be declined.

"How much will you be paying, sir?" The female asks the handsome and wealthy stranger before her.

"Twelve thousand." Z responds immediately not even looking at the female or Sharon, he's looking at the office and the personalized items they have up and sitting on desks.

"Yes, sir," The females says and takes his card. When she sees the name on it she becomes even more bemused.

"If it gets out I'll know who to have fired." Z tells her as he notices her fixate on his name.

"It's not worth me losing my job, sir. I won't be telling anyone. Not even those in this office."

"Very good." Z says as he takes back his card.

As they leave the room, "Twelve grand?"

"The others will pay me back their portion."

"What do you mean their portion?" Sharon hisses to him.

"Any time you help someone out here we'll be matching your donation. Their portion is three thousand each." Z tells her then waits patiently as Sharon stops in the middle of the hallway.

"Every donation?"

"Yep, now we need to figure out what Darrin spent of all those bouquets and toys you donated so that we can donate equally."

"You guys are insane, you know that?"

"No, we just missed having you in our lives all this time. It's one of the ways we are trying to show you that we love you." Z says then they run into the other brothers.
