|•Chapter 20•|

Words werent spoken between Jake and Tsìlpey that morning after, but that night Tsìlpey's life would be changed forever. Tsìlpey walked out of the Sully Mauri as she made her way to the Tsahik's tent, after what happend when she got sick, Ronal had an idea of what was happening but wanted to make sure.

Tsìlpey walked into the Tsahik tent as she brought her hand down from her head. "Oel ngati Kameie Tsahik."

A few healers were in the tent, Tsireya and Ronal were there. Tsireya gave Tsìlpey a small smile. "Hi Tsìlpey! Follow me."

Tsireya started walked towards a small room and went inside as Tsìlpey walked in with her. "You can wait in here for my mother." She turned around as she removed a string that kept the flap open to the room and closed it. Leaving Tsìlpey by herself.

She looked around the room as there were small shelf's of healing things already in the room. Pastes, needles. Other things as well. The flap opened suddenly as Ronal stood in the enterence. She walked in as the flap closed behind her. "Sit."

Tsìlpey sat on the mat that was laying down in the middle. Ronal sat in front of her as she started checking her out. Things like checking her skin,  how she reacted to somethings. Ronal had Tsìlpey lay down and checked her stomach and was chanting to eywa, saying prayers.

Ronal got up as she grabbed something from the stand and gave it to Tsìlpey. "Take this once a day. You are pregnant."

Tsìlpey looked at Ronal her eyes wide. "I-" tears started to form as she looked down at her stomach. She was pregnant. She was going to be a mother. Neteyam was going to be a father.

She looked back at Ronal who smiled at her. "Come back if you are having any problem's with anything. I will check in with you and the child every month until your last month and then it will be every week."

"Thank you Tsahik." Tsìlpey said as she got up and walked out with Ronal. Tsìlpey wiped the tear that started going down her cheek. The only thing that was across her mind was 'how will she tell Neteyam?' Tsireya looked concerned as Tsìlpey gave her a look telling her she was alright. Just then a warrior came running in.

"Tsahik! There's a dead tulkun come quick!" The warrior said as Ronal dropped her things and walked out quickly calling Tsìlpey's name to follow. We ran to the beach as tonowari met us with Jake, Neytiri and Neteyam. They called their Ilu as Neytiri rode with Jake and they rode out to where the dead Tulkun was.

Birds squawked as they made it closer to the dead Tulkun. Waves were crashing agaisnt the Tulkun hard. Ronal gasped in shock as she got off her Ilu and started to swim to the tulkun. She got up by the Tulkun's eyes as she led out a sob and screamed.

"Her name is Ro'a." Tonowari said ears pinned back

"She was my Spirit Sister." Ronal sobbed out. "She was a composer of songs. Much revered. We would sing together. She waited many breeding cycles to have this calf. The clan were so happy for her. What is this, Tonowari?"

"What is this?" Ronal screamed out. Jake and Neytiri rode behind the Tulkun as Neteyam and Tsìlpey followed. Beside Ro'a was a dead Tulkun baby, by one of her fins and on the side of Ro'a poking out was a red beeping sensor.

And that's when they raced back to the village.

"My Spirit Sister and her baby have been murdered by the Sky People!" Ronal yelled out. Villagers were exclaiming angrily.

"This war has come to us. We knew about this hunting of our tulkun people. But it was over the horizon, far away. Now it is here!" Tonowari yelled out angrily. Villagers were snarling

"No, you don't..." Jake started. "You gotta understand how the Sky People think. They don't care about the Great Balance."

"We don't answer to Sky People!" A man yelled out

"Listen. Listen to him." Neteyam said holding the red sensor from Ro'a in his hand.

"The Sky People are not gonna stop. This is only the beginning. You gotta tell your tulkun to leave. You gotta tell them to go far away!" Jake said looking around at the Metkayina villagers

"Leave?" Roanl scoffed. "You live among us, and you learn nothing!"

"We will fight to protect our brothers and sisters!" Another man yelled out sticking out his tounge snarling as other's follow.

"No, no, no."

"If you attack, if you fight, then they will destroy you! They will destroy everything that you love." Jake yelled out in desperation. Villager's were shouting angrily as Jake looked for something to make them listen. Jake spotted the sensor as he grabbed it from Neteyam and got up on a net by Ronal and Tonowari and brought it above his head. "You tell the tulkun that if they're hit by one of these, they're marked for death."

Tonowari sighed as Tsìlpey went by Neteyam and grabbed his hand tightly. "And call for me, I'll silence it. Saving their lives, that's all that matters. Right? Saving your family." Ronal put a hand around her stomach as Tsilpey looked down at her stomach. protecting her family. Her unborn child.

"Tell the tulkun." Tonowari said lowly. "Go!"
