Lui x Shu (Part 1)
Shu rubbed his tears away, picking up Spriggan as a shadow covered his eyes. "You regret it, now that I've broken Spriggan." Lui said smirking. "Spriggan is-!" Shu started before pausing and remembering what happened in the battle with Wakiya. Shu gritted his teeth and looked down at the stadium.
"You, you weren't the one who broke Spriggan." He said angrily, but not at Wakiya, just at that simple fact. Lui began laughing. "Spriggan, will definitely return. And when he does-" Shu looked at Lui, determination written all over his face. Lui just laughed, but in his mind he had several thoughts. A new rival, a rival that has proven how worth. How much more do you need to lose to break completely?

Shu sat on the dull green grass, the wind playing with his snow white hair. He thought back on the battle, the way Spriggan broke. He flinched at the sound of Spriggan falling, the tip still spinning, the last of its power determined to win.
"I pushed him, to hard. Was I... not meant to win?" He asked looking up at the sky. "Or... am I supposed to get stronger?" He said softly. Instead of the usual reassuring of Spriggan he received a laugh, a laugh that meant Lui was here.
Shu stood up looking around wildly, seeing no one. "I'm... no. You have to focus." Shu said shaking his head. He rubbed his eyes. Tired, I need to go home. He thought as he went on his way. He opened the door and saw a note.
Kurenai Shu, you proved your worth. You have a long way to go if you ever think that you can put up a good fight for me. I'll look forward to what the next tournament brings.
There was no signature. It didn't need one. Shu knew exactly who it was. Who else could it be? Lui. But why a note? Shu thought.

Lui was to embarrassed to actually go say this to Shu. For a long time, suppressing his feelings. Lui Shirosagijo does not show love. He doesn't even know what it is, never having learning or experiencing it. He didn't exactly want to either.
Except for him. Shu Kurenai.
Lui felt butterflies in his stomach everytime he saw the red eyed blader. Screw butterflies, he felt the whole zoo erupt in his stomach.
Harsh words always lashing out at the Spriggan user, unable to help himself Lui broke Shu down little by little. He can't stop it. He can't help it. He didn't want to embarrass his self. He could barely string two words together around him. Blushes always secretly creeping up his cheeks when he saw him.
The thing is, he won't admit it, won't show it, won't express it. So... what exactly was he supposed to do?
