It was like any other day, Levi would wake up early and make the two of them breakfast in bed while Erwin would sleep in. IT was fair enough I suppose, his work took a hard toll on his body during the week so at the weekends he decides to reward himself.

Levi came through, shaking the larger man ever so gently to wake him up. As he does so, he stares at the glittering silver ring in his left hand with a small diamond on top causing the smallest of smiles to appear to his face. It happened around a month ago, he could clearly remember the blonde down on one knee beside him in a fancy restaurant, wearing a tux, looking up at him with cool blue eyes and popping the question.

Erwin stirred under Levi's touch and he slowly blinked his eyes open. Sitting up, he sees his beautiful fiancé standing above him with a small smile that he only ever showed Erwin.

"Good morning, babe," Erwin says in a scratchy voice from sleeping as he holds out his arms.

Levi walks into his embrace and Erwin plants a small kiss on his forehead. Levi then mumbles, "morning." He pulls away for a second and drags Erwin out of bed, only in his boxers, and says, "hurry up and get ready. I'm making breakfast and we're going out today to get tuxedos for the wedding."

Erwin nods understandingly, his messy blonde locks falling on his face. He sweeps them away as he he steps out of bed and gets ready.

Around an hour and a half later, the two were walking down the bustling streets, people passing, everyone a totally different character. Rain poured from the sky in heavy floods soaking the two lovers throw their skin. Levi dragged Erwin to a small shelter he saw nearby and they stood under watching the rain.

It was around noon when Erwin looked at his watch saying, "the shop that sells the tuxedo's will be opening soon."

Levi nods and suggest they take a taxi there as it was too far too walk to the shop plus it was pouring of rain.

Erwin nods agreeing as he sees a taxi parking up across the road and he sprints out the shelter to catch it. His feet clash on the puddles making heavy splashes and soaking the bottom of his jeans.

He doesn't bother to look both ways when he sprints out into the road to catch the taxi when he hears someone scream, "WATCH OUT!"

He turns to his right and sees a bus speeding towards him and before he could react he was on the ground in a pool of crimson blood.

Levi's eyes widened in horror as he saw his lover laying in the soaking streets, completely lifeless as blood leaks through his shirt. Upon instinct, he races forward and pushes past people and the crowd surrounding him.

Someone was already calling for an ambulance when Levi drops to his knees in front of his fiancé. Erwin's blonde hair clung to his face, slightly stained ruby and his white shirt had now been died the colour of his blood. His legs were twisted in a horrible position while his lungs failed to breathe in and out air.

Levi had tuned to deaf to the shouts and screams around him when a small tear falls from his silver eyes in despair. He stares in horror at the man laying in front of him and he starts to sob recklessly until he felt a pair of arms on his shoulder pulling him back from the body.

"Stay back, sir," a woman with large glasses and reddy brown hair says as she examines the body. "I'm a paramedic."

Levi sits on the edge of the pavement as he sees the ambulance. Erwin's body was rushed in the ambulance and Levi runs to the back doors of the it.

A girl with long blonde hair and large blue eyes stares at the man and asks, "what is your relation to this man?"

Levi gulps and says, "fiancé."

The girl bids and let's him in the ambulance before the other paramedic from before slams the door and the ambulance speeds off.

Levi had stopped sobbing and was sitting next to Erwin, holding his hand as the paramedics start their work and place an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose.

It was now half past five, the clock above Levi ticking loudly as he waited upon the news of his lover.

The same girl from the ambulance walks through the doors and her eyes rest in Levi.

"Sir," she says with a sad look on her face. "I have some news about your fiancé."

Levi stands out of his chair so fast that he gets blood rush but when his head clears he croaks out, "y-yes?"

"I'm afraid to say he's been killed."
