Mei sat on her couch watching TV and eating cereal when a news flash appeared on the TV. She turned it up as the news anchor started speaking. "We are sorry for interrupting your programs, but we have come in with breaking news." Oka was watching with one of her best friends; Ryuto, when it came on. "There was a car crash in downtown Akademi, at about 1PM today. The victims were rushed to hospital; only 3 survived. The victim who died of blood loss and severe injuries was... Budo Masuta. Aged 16."

Mei stared in shock as something on the TV appeared: "In loving memory; Budo Masuta. 2001 - 2017" with a happy picture of Budo, smiling. Mei dropped her cereal and started sobbing uncontrollably as she heard the news about her boyfriend.

Oka and Ryuto both stared at the TV in shock, tears rolling down their faces. Oka was curled up loudly crying. Her best friend and childhood friend was gone. "Its n-not fair!" She said in between sobs. Ryuto was there frozen in shock. His and Oka's best friend was dead. "Oka, we all know that it isn't fair... At least Budo is in a better place." He hugged his best friend tightly; refusing to let go.

Mei got up and started crying again. She went up to her room.

She sat on her bed for what felt like ages crying. She looked on her bedside table to get her phone (it was beeping) and saw it. A picture of Budo in a frame. He was with Mei smiling and laughing at a random restaurant. She flipped the picture down as if it would help her stop crying. She picked up her phone and looked at the text. From the his mother. "Hi, Mei. I bet its hard for you on the other end. Just here to tell you we already have a funeral prepared. Tomorrow. Heh. At times like these we are always prepared. Xx - Yumi Masuta" Mei started to dial a number. Ryuto picked up.

Ryuto saw Oka's phone ringing and curiously picked it up.

Ryuto: Oh hi Mei.
Mei: Hey. Did oka get the text from the parents?
Ryuto: Let me check.... Oh yeah tomorrow.
Mei: Is oka ok?
Ryuto: Nah. Her heart is shattered. Locked herself in the bathroom crying.
Mei: ....... I gotta go......

Mei hung up. She decided to just lay in her bed. She dozed off thinking "tomorrow is another day" (Ayeee a FNaF 4 reference)
