[just imagine a girl sitting next to him]

MY CLASSMATES and I finally boarded the bus as we sat ourselves down on its vacant chairs. Not forgetting to take a seat beside the one who is closest to us. In short, our friend. Era Unnie, and I sat on the middle row, she was kind enough to let me sit beside the window as she knows I like to gaze outside.
I already heard my classmates getting out their snacks as the sound of zippers being slid open, and plastic material crinkling filled the tiny space of the bus. But, before they can even start eating, Ms. Min, our adviser stopped them. "Uh-uh, not yet. Stop what you're doing or I'll confiscate them."
Ms. Min said with a condescending tone. My classmates frowning, some letting out groans as they put back their chips inside their bags. "You better not be hiding some!" Ms. Min warned us as her toes were now on a ballerina stance, peering over our heads to see if we were hiding any, away from her line of sight and once she was sure, she nodded her head twice as she lowered her feet, a grin painting her lips.
"Very well, let's get to changing your seats now." Ms. Min announced, her eyebrows raised, lips pursed into a thin line with its end pointing upwards as her eyes passed by all of us. Another set of groans and silent complaints followed, however, it was much louder now as more of us were displeased, including myself.
I looked at Era Unnie with a pout on my lips as I linked my arms with hers, causing her to look at me. A curious look on her face, she stared at me for a few seconds, and finally understood why I was sulking. A chuckle leaving her lips. "Come on, it was already expected." I sighed as I removed my arms from hers and said, "Kind of."
Though a lot of us were against the idea that Ms. Min proposed, we knew that we couldn't do anything, but obey. The only thing we could hope for now is she will place us with someone who we can vibe with.
And of course, she didn't. Which is the reason why the bus is now so quiet. Since the ones who are seated next to each other weren't comfortable with both of their presence.
I was walking to where my partner was seated, passing by a frowning Era Unnie as she looked outside the window, not daring to acknowledge her seatmate's presence for the whole ride, Jaeyun. It was a rare sight to see Unnie frowning, so unknowingly a smile reached my lips. After passing by two seats, I'm finally in front of, Jungwon, my seatmate for whole the ride.
"Hey, looks like we're seatmates again," I said as I tried to show him a smile, but abruptly stopped after seeing him looking at me with his usual blank stare, before gazing back outside the window. I didn't think much of it as I was slowly growing accustomed to his cold treatment, therefore, I decided to just put my bag on the shelf above our heads.
I'm not that petite, to be honest, but I found myself struggling to reach the top shelf. Why did they have to put it that high? I asked myself as I continued to struggle. I was hoping that Jungwon would help me, but he didn't. Though in exchange, the guy sitting opposite from us noticed my pitiful self so he decided to help me.
I thanked him before I sat myself down. "Ok since everyone is now seated, we may now go." Ms. Min announced as she sat in front, behind the bus driver. I knew this was gonna be a long and quiet ride, so I decided to just lay back on the chair as I closed my eyes, my ears not failing to pick up the faint sound of an innominate sound blasting through Jungwons ears. The word sleep slowly taking over me.
____________
It felt like time passed by too fast as I was awoken from my slumber. I looked around with my eyes barely opened, seeing my classmates already preparing to leave the bus. Upon realization, my eyes widened almost immediately as I attempted to stand up. But, I only found myself getting dragged back down by a heavy object on my lap. I looked below me and was surprised to see that my bag was already resting on my thighs.
I looked to my side, and saw Jungwon already standing up. He wasn't wearing his earphones now. Instead, it was hanging across his neck. "Don't think so much about it, the guy sitting opposite of us was glaring at me earlier for not helping you-" I let out a chuckle which made him stop talking, he looked at me with furrowed eyebrows, probably wondering what I found funny.
"Thank you, Jungwon." I thanked him as I showed him a smile of gratitude. Which he only returned with a nod before he started heading out of the bus. I then stood up from my seat as I wore my backpack behind my back. Finally ready to go. I looked outside the window, and saw Minjung and Minnie waving at me from outside. Their hair getting messy because, of the wind. I smiled back and waved my hand.
"Yah, you're taking too long. Come on now." I heard Era Unnie complain from a distance. I looked in front and saw her standing by the door. "Sorry, coming." I apologized before walking out of the bus with her. The chatter of the students, and teachers checking our attendance filling the place, some busses were still arriving one by one. Though, a majority has already arrived.
Era Unnie and I, were the last ones to get out of the bus, therefore, we were at the back of the line. With Jungwon, and Jaeyun in front of us. After a few minutes of our teacher's checking our attendance they have finally finished, so now they were making sure that we were in a straight line as they led us to our next destination, the amusement park.
I looked around my surroundings, not failing to see the towering builds of rides, which didn't have any momentum at the moment as there were no passengers. I tear my eyes away from the sight above, and instead lowered my point of view, seeing the different kinds of mini-games we passed by.
Then suddenly, we came to a stop. My face colliding with someone's back. Which turned out to be Jungwon's, who was now glaring at me from the side of his eye, seeing his infuriated expression━I immediately, apologized.
"Here we are." An unfamiliar voice announced. I stopped looking around and decided to listen to the one speaking. It was a teacher of a different class. "As you can see here, we have multiple doors right?" The teacher asked. The heel of my feet began raising as I was struggling to get a view of what was in front of us, since we were at the back.
I managed to get a glimpse and saw a rocky wall in front of us that was decorated with moss and vines and it has... 5 doors? I'm not quite sure. "Yes." The students said in unison, their voices lacking any kind of enthusiasm. "Well, that is because, we're in for a maze!" The teacher announced excitedly, a bright smile reaching her lips as she raised her hands in the air.
But to her disappointment, none of us seemed pleased. Well, except for Era Unnie, and Jaeyoon who looked like they were in for the ride. "With that said, we will group you into 4 people, now since the majority of you are 20 students per class... That means 5 teams will be competing for this maze." A male teacher was now the one talking, and upon hearing the word competing. I could feel everyone getting competitive as chatter started resonating through us again.
When our teachers saw our positive reaction, I could see a lot of them let out relieved sighs as the male teacher continued what he was saying, "Now dear advisers, you may now group your classes." Any group is fine, as long as I'm with Era Unnie, I thought to myself.
...
...
And as if it were some kind of fate we were grouped with Jungwon, and Jaeyun. I wasn't bothered at all by our members, but it seems like the three of them... Were quite disappointed as their lips were all etched into a frown. Which was making me want to react the same as them. "Seriously? A group of dummies would be more pleasing than being with you." Jaeyun complained, speaking in english after saying, seriously. Which I did not understand at all.
"And who says, I'm pleased to be in the same group as you?" Era Unnie countered back, with a glare in her eyes as she looked him up and down. Era Unnie's being rather amusing today, she's never really interested in engaging in fights. Since she thinks it's childish, but here she is arguing with our transferee. Meanwhile, Jungwon and I were innocently watching them fight, not wanting to interfere with their little querelle as we know we wouldn't be any help.
Though, to our luck. Their fight was stopped by Ms. Min's shout. "Ok, you may now enter the maze. Good luck!"
WAH! How I miss going on field trips huhuhuhu. I remember being like Jungwon, (I'm not cold btw) having my earphones in my ears the whole ride HAHAHAHA. Because, why not? Listening to music while in a car or bus just hits different.
Anyway, sorry if this update was sorta boring huhuhuhuhu, and as always if you see any grammar mistakes feel free to tell me. I would really love to improve.
BTW THERE'S A SURPRISE AT THE END OF THE MAZE.
That's all! Thank you for reading. Don't forget to vote❤
