JUNGWON'S P.O.V
I SWIRLED my chopsticks in my ramen as I blew some air onto it. And once I thought that it was safe to eat, since I no longer felt that much heat bouncing onto my face. I stopped swirling my chopsticks around as I lifted some of its noodles in the air, bringing it close to my mouth as I slurped it up. Some of its remaining liquid splashing onto my face, so I got out my handkerchief from the pockets of my sweats and wiped the sides of my lips clean. Getting a glimpse of a girl sitting one seat away from me, while doing so, a cup of ramen in her hands.
Though, I didn't mind her presence and just kept eating my noodles, letting it warm my mouth, feeling my body temperature rise. My thoughts then drifted to Heesung Hyung, if he finds out that I ate ramen without him, that guy will cause a scene. I hope he doesn't visit- My thoughts were interrupted, when I felt someone's eyes on me. Seriously, who would stare at someone who's eating? I asked myself as I looked up at the window in front of me.
My eyes meeting a familiar pair, and once I recognized to whom they belong to, I almost spat out the noodles out of my mouth. Which only ended with me swallowing it all at once, without even chewing it properly. And it didn't feel pleasant. "Jungwon?!" Eunjung exclaimed as she dropped her chopsticks on the table. "Y-you?!" While I shouted as I looked at her from head to toe, with furrowed eyebrows.
I saw her eyes going to the side, therefore, I followed it and saw the people inside the 7eleven looking at us, frozen in their spots. Feeling embarrassed is an understatement at this point, I thought as I looked down on my feet and slowly turned towards the window again. Why did I have to meet her here? What the hell? Heesung Hyung would be much more of a pleasant sight.
"Sorry, for causing you disturbance hehe. We just didn't expect-" I saw Eunjung turning her head toward me before continuing what she was saying, "-to see each other here," She added as she got off her seat and bowed to the people that we disturbed. I'm surprised, she can even communicate with them. I thought as I turned to look at her, finding her already back on her seat as her hands covered her entire face.
"Gosh, that was embarrassing.." I heard her mumble to herself, not noticing myself nodding to what she said. Then suddenly, she slapped herself, my eyes widening at her action. "Let's forget about that, I know they'll forget it anyway," Why does it look like she's convincing herself? After that, she suddenly, looked at me. Which made me avoid meeting her eyes.
"Hey, what are you doing here by the way?"
"Isn't it obvious?" I asked after taking a sip of my ramen's soup, still not looking at her. "That you're eating ramen?" She said though, it sounded more of like a question. I put down the chopsticks on the table and slowly clapped my hands. "Congratulations, you got it right." I congratulated her sarcastically as I slurped up the last of my ramen, humming afterward. Then, tossing it to the trash can beside me.
"You're done?" She asked yet another dumb question, so I decided to just ignore her as I stood up from my chair, getting ready to leave- "Can't you stay for a little while?" She asked, turning my head in her direction, looking her in the eye, with a raised eyebrow.
"And why should I?" I asked tilting my head to the side as I wrapped my arms around my chest. "I don't really like being alone-" She explained, looking shy as she looked me in the eye then, looking away after. Which was pretty amusing... Because, this is the first time I'm seeing her like this. "-and it was kind of dumb of me to go out this late at night... Considering, that I'm a girl."
She finished explaining, with a hopeful look on her face. Well, she is right... Her decision is pretty dumb. Now, do I have to help a dumb girl? Not really, but I don't wanna deal with the guilt afterward, when something bad happens... "Fine, you better hurry up." I agreed as I made my way back to my seat earlier.

EUNJUNG'S P.O.V
I gotta say, that I never expected Jungwon to agree with me. But, I'm more than grateful that he agreed. To be honest, I'm not really afraid of what the night brings, however, I can't deny the fact that some guy would find a lonely girl walking in the middle of the night as his prey. I looked at Jungwon, who was behind me, with earphones in his ears. The both of us were currently in a bus heading towards our home. We were accompanied by an office worker and the bus driver from earlier.
I then motioned for him to take out his earphones for a second. He seemed reluctant to obey what I said, but he eventually did it. "What is it?" He asked in his usual monotonous voice. "Thank you, Jungwon. Is there anything I could do to repay you?" I asked him, with clasped hands. "None." He turned me down... Using only one word. Well, he is a man of few words. I thought as a frown spread across my lips.
But then, a question popped up in my head.
"Oh, by the way, we ride the same bus... But I do not see you here in the morning though. I mean in school days."
"Why do I have to answer that?" He asked about to insert the other bud of his earphones in his ear. "Because, I will not... Stop asking you over and over!" I exclaimed, with my hands across my chest as I raised my head up. Jungwon rolling his eyes afterward. "I shouldn't have agreed with you... I go with my mom and dad to school, in the morning... Since their workplace is not that far from our school." My eyes widened when I heard, that he goes to school by car. I never saw him getting out of a car before... I thought he just walked to school. "Wah, that's so cool!"
He turned to look at me, his right eyebrow raised. "How is that cool?" I looked away from him and looked at the ceiling of the bus instead, tapping my fingers on my lap. "Mhmm, I just think it is." We used to have it before, but Dad had to sell it for our family expenses. "You have a weird taste, for things that are cool," Jungwon said as he isolated himself from me again, by using his earphones, letting its sound overshadow my entire existence.
Just then, I noticed the bus stopping as the middle-aged bus driver looked at me. I looked outside and saw that I was already at my bus stop. My eyes widened as I hurriedly wore my backpack, hurrying out of my seat, heading towards the exit. But, not before waving goodbye to Jungwon, who just looked away from me.

Chatter filled the classroom as different groups of people engaged in a conversation. A normal sight to see especially, when classes haven't started yet, Eunjung was by the door along with Leira as they spoke to Minjung and Minnie, who were outside the door. "This girl treats Heesung like a lesson, she can't take her eyes off him." Minjung teased Minnie as she swung her arm on Minnie's shoulder. While the younger pouted as she crossed her arms around her chest, sulking.
"What? I can't help it, he's much more interesting than any of those lessons." Minnie voiced out, a wide smile on her lips as she looked down on her feet, swinging her body up and down. "Mhmm... You should come visit us then, when we practice." Eunjung suggested as Minnie immediately looked at her, eyes shimmering in excitement.
"Really-"
"No," Leira interjected, with her feet tapping on the ground. "I get that you like Heesung, but you can't let him distract you from your studies-" Leira said as she shook her head. While Minjung removed her arm from Minnie's shoulder and nodded at Leira's statement.
"-you were complaining last year that you should have done better. Then, make sure to not repeat it twice and Heesung wouldn't like it either when he finds out that you're failing some subjects because, of him" Leira explained. Eunjung looked at her Unnie, who never fails to surprise her with her maturity. We're so lucky to have her as our friend, Eunjung thought.
Just then, the bell rang. Because of this, the students covered their ears not finding the sound that the bell emitted pleasant. It causes an almost endless ringing sensation in their head. That they do not appreciate. While the other students, who were visiting their friends in other classrooms immediately started running for their lives, among them were Minjung and Minnie as they ran along with other students hand in hand.
Once Minjung and Minnie were no longer in sight. Eunjung and Leira started going back to their seats, not wanting Ms. Min to see them still not seated on their respective chairs when she arrives. Soon enough, the students heard the familiar sound of heels colliding with the floor, followed by the door sliding open as Ms. Min entered the room, with a smile on her lips and when she finally reached her table, she slammed her hands down on the table, startling them. "Ok, class, I have an announcement before we start our new lesson today."
As Ms. Min said that, chatter started filling the room again. But, not for long as she pressed her finger on her lips, shushing us. "Thank you, now for the announcement... We're gonna have our field trip next week, so better prepare your money."
Eyy, thank you for reading today's update. I'm so excited to write the next part because, field trip is one of my favorite things that a school has. Like, AHHHH I miss face to face classes so hecking much and writing this book makes me miss it more huhuhuhu.
