(Y/n) pov:
'Eyepatch' that was his code name, the department has been after this ghoul for a while.

On my way home from a long night of researching ghouls in the area, it was dark and i had my quinque as always as I walked down the dark sidewalk and alleyways, I tried to hurry home as fast possible.

I felt like i was being watched, little did I know my hunch was right in a way. I was being watched by 3 people, 2 being of hunger and the 3rd being of caring for me.

I turned down another alleyway and 2 pairs of red glowing irises stared into my eyes. Into my soul.

I brought out my quinque and readied it. I had a sword quinque, the ghouls came at me and I was able to dodge their attacks. I swung my quinque at them, cutting one an missing the other. They both growled and brought out their kagunes.

Koukaku and Ukaku. I was able to shield myself from the rain of crystal shards, but not able to dodge the sharp bladed shell aiming at my stomach.

When it was blocked by a rinkaku, I was stunned.

Kaneki's pov:
I blocked the other ghoul's kagune from hurting (y/n), I wasn't going to let these two hurt her.

I had fallen in love with her, she was my whole world. My eyes glowed and I gritted my teeth behind the mask, my snow white hair sway in the wind.

These 2 were surely going to die tonight,I had a crazed look in my eye as I grabbed the one with an ukaku kagune and used my kagune to grab their limbs and ripped them off the body. Blood splattered onto the walls and floor, I dropped the limbs and the body fell lifeless. I then glared at the other ghoul, I rammed my tentacle into his chest and pinned him to the ground. I looked back at (y/n).

"Turn around." I said in a husky voice.

She stood there frozen and growled.

"Dammit! I said turn around now!" I shouted.

She snapped out of it and turned around, I turned back to the ghoul and started to eat him. He tasted awful, but fixed my growing hunger.

When I was done I wiped my mouth and turned to (y/n), my kagune disappeared and I turned her around. She was scared, I couldnt tell if it was from me or from what happened.

"....Why?" She asked.

"Because I love you. No one is ever going to hurt you." I said.

(Y/n) looked into my eye and saw the bloodlust in me, I pulled her closer to me.

"I wont ever hurt you." I whispered in her ear. "Your mine."

She hesitantly nodded, I smirked.

"I'll kill them all for you."
