In a graveyard, there was no one, except a man in his black coat. It was going to get dark in the grey winters of Guangzhough, a big city in the southern part of China.

He stood with his head bent down and his eyes fixed at the grave in front of which he was standing. Tears rolled down his cheek and fell on the cemented mounding of the grave. The name read Mrs.Sonia Gupta Bakshi (1992-2017).

The weather was chilli and grey. Thick clouds were forming and it was sure to rain in any time as it is common in Guangzhough to rain during every weekend. Little drops of rain started to escape from the clouds and started to hit the ground when Jai realised that it was dark and the churchyard will get closed within an hour. He took an last glimpse of the grave as memories started to flast at the back of his head.

"Jai!" Shouted Sonia as she came running to him.

"What happened? You look excited." Said Jai hugging Sonia.

"Yeah I am. I really am." Said Sonia.

"And may I know the reason behind my queen's excitement?" Asked Jai playfully.

"Well surprise. I'll tell you tomorrow as it is your birthday tomorrow." Said Sonia still excited.

"As you wish ma'am." Said Jai.

"Where the hell are you Sonia? I'm waiting here for the past hour." Said Jai in the call.

"Just a minute here I am. Look back here I am." Said Sonia.

Jai turned back to see Sonia coming to him with a bright face. But as she was approaching, her smile faded away and her eyebrows furrowed as she ran past Jai and pushed him and he fell on the ground and then there was the sound of a shot and she fell over Jai with a bullet in her chest.

"I'm sorry Mr.Shekhawat your wife is no more and as she was only a week pregnant, I could neither save your child." Said the doctor.

"What? She was pregnant?" Asked Jai amazed.

"Yes. She had planned to surprise you on your birthday but I'm sorry that all these events took place." Said the doctor as she walked away.

Jai pressed his eyes tight as a continuous stream of tears started to flow down from them. It started to rain heavily and it felt as if the sky was also accompaning Jai in his grief. He got fully drenched in the rain as he started to walk slowly from the graveyard and headed towards the streets.
