Facing the Storm
this is basically how our good ol world destroyer became the way he is ig. I suggest coming back to this chapter after you finish the main story, i just put it as the first chapter to make things make sense chronologically. Also so it didn't annoy me it wasn't in order.

(one month before the events of YDNAI)
The male stood on the roof of the building, his brown cloak up. If anyone recognised him and who he was, he'd just say it was a business deal. It'd be a good lie. He was meeting with the man he jokingly called Mr President after all. Well, that, and 'Mr President' was the leader of the probably narcissistically named Schlatt & Co. It was pretty flawless, but it was plausible that, yes, someone could overhear. But that was a minimal chance and a chance that he was gonna take.
He heard footsteps approach from behind him, "You asked for me, Jim?" the American accent of Mr Jschlatt, leader of this current world, asked.
"Please, Schlatt, call me Techno. There's no need for that name anymore. And yes, I did ask for you," Techno answered, lowering his hood and turning to face his friend.
"What is this about? Some shady business deal?" Schlatt asked.
"No, well, sorta. It's partially that, but not entirely," the pig answered.
"Then, what is it?" the business man was curious by all this.
The pig let out a small sigh befoere speaking, "Don't you think that this place is a bit... boring now?" he asked Schlatt, looking his friend dead in the eye.
"Well, yeah, but what does that have to do with anything? We can continue living here, though, can't we?" Schlatt answered, a bit puzzled.
"Well, we could. But what will happen when the minority of people who find this place boring become the majority?" Techno then asked.
"Well, we'd go back to seperate servers, right? Where are you going with this, Techno?" Schlatt asked.
"Well, what if that came earlier?"
"Earlier? Wait, you don't mean-?"
"Yes. Yes I do. I mean, what if WE caused enough damage and forced the world to reset?"
"Force a reset? I don't get it."
"Simple. We cause damage with withers, whilst we have good armour so we ourselves don't actually die, and, well, the world we be forced to be deleted, we won't have to worry about boredom or anything."
"What... what caused you to think like this in the first place?" Schlatt was rather confused, and rightfully so. I mean, what do you expect when your friend just says he wants to destroy the goddamn world.
"Well, I'll tell you what caused me to think about this plan."
(Techno's P.O.V, a month ago)
I was on my way to the meeting spot. It was something us workers for Schlatt did every now and again. Now I, I was his personal bodyguard, nicknamed Jim Jimmerson. It was a strange name, sure, but both of us agreed to it one time in that private RLCraft server. The other workers I didn't so much care about. It was the same old thing practically every week.
That got me thinking, things seemed too repetitive now. At first it was a new experience, but slowly it became more and more repetitive. I think the most recent original thing was SMP Earth but here we were, in a world with a bunch of people. Not so original, huh? God, I wish I was back at Hypixel, but being a bodyguard was a full time job these days.
Would it really even matter if I showed up to the meeting anyway? I doubt they'd even care. I had grown a bit of a reputation for only really interacting with Schlatt as these were people I didn't really know. I let out a sigh and turned around. Why not explore some unexplored areas? We hadn't exactly moved beyond the stronghold and this town, surely there were some unknown places in this world. I don't know but I could probably live in solitude for a bit until I was ready. I had the gear, after all. Why not disappear for a bit? And that was exactly what I planned.
(back to present day)
Schlatt was silent for a minute before talking, "So... that's where you've been this past month. Out exploring," he connected the dots.
"Yup, it surprisingly doesn't take long to go out far. I've found all sorts," Techno responded.
"I can expect that, we haven't really explored too much," Schlatt nodded.
"I was able to gather more gear, more items. I daresay some people living here here might not have seen them in their lifetime. I also gained some... sources that are sure to help us out," Techno stated.
"Us? You mean-" Schlatt trailed off.
"Of course, my friend. Will you walk with me? Will you come along?" Techno asked, stretching out his hand. Schlatt hesitated for a moment before shaking the pig's hand.
"Of course, Blade, pleasure doing business with you," Schlatt grinned. For a moment, Techno thought he saw a bit of an evil glint in his friend's eyes, which made him smile as well.
"Very well then. For a while, I'll be preparing with my contacts for something nobody will expect. For everyone other than yourself, it'll be as if I've disappeared. You'll know when the time is right. Gather a group of up to 6 other people and head out," Techno commanded.
"Very well, Mr Blade," Schlatt nodded. Techno grinned in response, pulling his hood up. Schlatt wastched as the pig ender pearled away quite far and turned back, "It's time for a new world."
