Chapter 3

so like, should I draw this version of Bad, Skeppy, a6d and Schlatt?
-----------------------------

The stranger ran along the slabs, causing the group to walk backwards slowly down the stairs, "What are we supposed to do?" Bad asked.
"Oh well, y'know, see if this stranger is actually gonna attack us or something," Schlatt stated.
"Well, they did set up that wither wave, so I doubt they're friendly," a6d responded, slightly agitated.
"Yeah but uh, nevermind," Skeppy began, but didn't bother to finished. He didn't really have anything to say about the current situation that wouldn't make it worse. Typical Skeppy, huh.

The stranger jumped off of the wooden slabs, landing in front of the wall that once held the books that only added questions to the puzzle of what the hell the base even was and why it was there in the first place. The four drew their weapons once more, admittedly on edge, "Oh I do hope the welcoming party wasn't too much of a problem for the group of you. I know the others didn't handle it all too well," the stranger spoke, almost taunted. Their voice was unrecognisable, due to the echo and distortion. All they knew was that it was someone with a deep voice, which meant it was probably a male.
"If by welcoming party you mean the wither waves, then I'd like to inform you it was so much fun," Skeppy said sarcastically.
"Wow, is Skeppy actually not being thick for once?" the stranger taunted once more.
"Why I oughtta!" Skeppy threatened, Bad pulling him back by his hoodie.
"Calm down Skeppy, there's no need to get angry," Bad stated.
"No reason- He's literally insulting me!" Skeppy yelled.
"In all honesty, who doesn't?" a6d asked.
"Yes but when you guys I know it's a joke," Skeppy replied, "This guy is literally taunting me!" he then yelled.

He broke out of Bad's grip and ran towards the stranger, attempting to hit him with his sword. The stranger lifted his leg and kicked Skeppy in the chest, causing the blue male to bounce back to the group, "Ah, as weak as always. I'm surprised you made it and people like Mega didn't," he taunted once more.
"Who are you?" a6d asked the stranger.
"Does who I am really matter at this point?" the stranger asked in response.
"I mean, in all honesty, yeah," a6d answered.
"It was a rhetorical question, idiot," the stranger sighed. Schlatt had been eerily quiet, that or he just didn't think one of his funny quips were appropriate for the situation, which they really weren't at the time.

"Can we all agree that this guy is mean?" Skeppy asked the others.
"Sure" Bad shrugged.
"How are you guys this calm?" Schlatt asked, though he also was rather calm.
"At this point, they aren't exactly doing anything bad. Mainly just taunt- Woah woah!" a6d began, before pointing at the platform. The stranger had placed soulsand in a T shape and had placed two out of three wither heads.

Skeppy ran up to him and tackled the stranger to the floor, whilst Bad dismantled the nearly completed structure.
"Wow, good teamwork," Schlatt commented.
"Yeah, and you could help," Skeppy responded.
"Look, I'm an ex businessman and the current leader of where we live. Do you think I would do anything to get my hands dirty?" Schlatt asked.
"Yes," Bad answered.
"It's called a rhetorical question," Schlatt sighed, looking over at Bad.

The stranger threw Skeppy off and stood up, "Drats, that was one of my backup plans in case you guys actually got in here and discovered this place. This room actually," the stranger mumbled to himself.
"Skeppy! You alright?!" a6d called up.
"Should be, yeah. I think our main concern is Mr Mysterious over here and if he knows anything about Techno's disappearance," Skeppy answered.
"Yeah, I mean, he did have the books with things about us and Techno. Either he's a fan or a friend that we don't know about," Bad pondered.

Bad and Skeppy moved back over to the other two, "At this point, I don't even care that you dismantled the Wither structure. All that really matters is that you are here in one piece. I, of course, had expected the other three to be here too," the stranger spoke.
"But, there were only four books," Bad stated.
"Now anyway. Once the other three had been weakened and retreated, I took their books back," the stranger explained, "The four books you found were shaped like the recipe for a pair of boots, correct? There were three more, making the recipe more like pants."
"But, how did you know they left?" Schlatt asked.
"Isn't it obvious, one of you was feeding me the information the entire time. One of you are a spy," the stranger answered, turning his back to the four.
"W-what? Who?! Tell us!" Bad demanded.
"I won't tell you. How about I show you. Come forward old friend," the stranger smilef under the shadow covering his face.

The four looked each other, all of them wondering if he was telling the truth or not. Of course, they didn't trust the others, just in case they were a traitor to the group and had been feeding information to the cloaked stranger, "Come on, don't be shy," the stranger taunted once more.

None of the group thought another of them would actually move, seeing as it didn't seem believable that one of them was actually a traitor. They all trusted one another and what fan would be old friends with one. I mean, if they were like that, wouldn't they have not helped at all. Nobody moved.
