Just a little bit of love: Toya Todoroki (Dabi) × Reader part 2
Dabi looked at his phone and saw the blip of your dog's collar, but first, he went to a crappy abandoned building that still had running water and put his stuff down. They put the stuff he got away, then looked at his phone again. He wasn't going to get anything out of this, really, and he was debating whether or not to even help you, but then he thought about killing you again. Burning you alive would be too easy. Maybe he would inflict the most pain he could on you before slowly bringing you up. Watching you die slowly and feeling your life leave your body would be amazing to feel. First, he needed a reason to come over to your house. He turned on the radio and made it go to the station you worked for, and you were playing commercials until he heard your voice.
"Okay, now it is time for Teddy Swims Lose Control. It's one of my favorites," you said.
"Why Capricorn?" Asked a man.
"Well, Mark, there are a lot of people in situations they can't control, and they feel their world falling apart. This song makes people feel like it's normal to lose control," you chuckled as the song started playing, and Dabi started listening to it.
He lay on the couch and smiled after feeling the song. All the things he did to please his father only ended up like this. All the things you did to make people like you but only end up blind and scared with no living family. Did you know he was going to listen to the station you worked at?
Once the song was over, he out his phone and pulled up to the directions to the house your dog was at. He downloaded the app to the radio station, mostly to wait to see when you signed off to go home. It took him a bit to get to the house, but when he did, he saw the place was in a rough neighborhood and the house was run down. People looked at him as they were smoking, drinking, or just hanging out. He saw a couple doing a drug handoff and was immediately interested. He went over to the drug dealer and immediately made a blue circle of flame.
"Have any Rohypnol?" He asked as the drug dealer looked at him terrified.
"Rohypnol?" He asked shakily.
"Yeah, you know it's a date Rape drug. I'm not going to use it for that purpose. I'm just using it to scare a friend of mine. Has a drinking problem," he explained as the guy handed over a small bag of capsules and backed off.
"Take them, it's all I have. It's on me," he said nervously as Dabi smiled.
"Thanks, don't sell drugs to kids," Dabi said as he let the guy go.
He ran off, and Dabi looked at his phone again and followed the tracker to a broken house with a chain link fence. He jumped over the fence, noticing the Beware of Dog sign, and he kicked out the door and walked in. He saw three people drinking on the couch watching American football, and some people were shooting up drugs in the back.
"Someone stole a blind girl's dog. I thought I was evil," he said.
"Get the fuck out of here!" The man screamed.
"Where's the dog, Demon!" He called.
"You messed with the wrong guy!" A drunk guy growled as he tried to hit Dabi, but he dodged the attack and set his hand on fire.
"Really? I'm just here to kill the dog. You take my fun, then I'll kill you," he said as the mad screamed.
"Shut up. I'm watching the game!" A drunk man yelled.
"Get the fucking dog it's in the back," he screamed.
"Great," he said as he threw the guy on the ground and stepped over drugged-out people, then went exploring.
He went into a bedroom to find two people doing it on a dirty mattress that was on the floor.
"Classy, wear a condom guy, she might have Herpes," Dabi said as he left the room and then went into another bedroom.
He found your dog in a small cage with a muzzle on it. Your dog looked messed up, but it wasn't recent. He had scars, and he sighed as the dog looked at him with sad eyes, and Dabi opened the door. He undid the muzzle, and Demon came out of the cage.
"Wow, she likes damaged guys. You look like shit," Dabi said, seeing how scared your dog was.
Demon looked at him, and then Dabi sat next to him, annoyed.
"I want to burn you, I do, but God, she has made it difficult. I think Y/n is crazy maybe even a psycho for wanting a dog looking like you, but then again, she can't see. You know I envy blind people because they can't judge you by your looks. I mean, if she were to even look at me, she probably would have been my first kill. I tried to kill her, by the way. But I don't know. I just can't do it well Maybe now I can. I mean, I have a date Rape drug. Just put some in her drink and take her to an abandoned house. Burn her and the house down, then start my rain of terror. But I like she's not scared of me... oh, well, I got the drugs. Now I got you, so I'll just kill you both together once she's done working. Two birds with one stone," he said as he picked up the dog and then went home with him.
Dabi made sure Demon didn't go to the bathroom in his apartment and bought a small bag of dog food to give him. Your dog was starving, and he was tempted to torch your dog, but he didn't want your dog dead before he could hurt you, too. Once you got off work, he headed to your house. With your dog on a rope, mostly so people wouldn't call the cops for an unleashed dog.
He rang your doorbell and sighed, waiting for you to answer the door.
"Come on, Y/n, I want to get this over with. Two birds with one stone," he muttered as a beautiful blond girl came to the door, and her smile quickly turned into pure terror.
"I found her dog," he said as the girl looked at him terrified.
"Thank you," she said as she was frozen in fear.
"Is Y/n home?" He asked.
"Y/n, it's for you!" The woman said terrified.
"Stacey, who is it?" You asked as he grinned at you evilly.
"Hey, long time no see. Found your dog," he said as you smiled.
"Thank you!" Demon, come here, boy. I'm so sorry you got taken. Are you alright?" You asked as Daki looked at the fence.
"You didn't get any notifications of me coming into your yard?" He asked.
"No, all my stuff is in my purse. I just got home. It was great timing," you smiled as you petted your dog.
"Want to come in? I'm making tea. Well, Stacy made tea before picking me up," you said.
"Perfect," he said, "I like tea, but I do prefer beer more."
"I don't have beer; you will have to bring your own," you said as you let him in.
Your guide pulled you aside as he closed the door behind him.
"Two for one," he thought he was going to enjoy killing you.
"Why would you let in a stranger?!" She asked.
"He isn't a stranger. I met him this morning," you said.
"Y/n, he looks like a serial killer," she stated.
"This is why I like being blind, I don't get to judge people by their looks, just their actions," you said as you got away from her.
You went over to the cabinets and grabbed some cups of tea.
"So, how was your day?" You asked.
"Fine, nothing too exciting. What about you?" He asked.
"Fine, I did have a rude caller. Apparently, I don't sound like a girl on the radio, and he flat out said that I need to take my Trans self off the air," you said.
"You don't sound feminine enough? Huh, that's a new one," he said.
"Yeah, then I had some guy high as a kite call saying some scarecrow fire demon came in his house and set him on fire. He was told this wasn't 911, so I guess he called 911 later, and cops went to his house. He got busted for crack and a bunch of other things. I guess he also ran a dog fighting ring. At least that's what I heard from the police radio," you said.
"Huh, all because he thought a scarecrow attacked him," he said as he looked at Demon.
"No wonder he wanted you," he thought as you got the hot pot.
"Hey, I know this is an odd question, Dabi, but do you have any scars?" You asked as you went to grab your cut as well.
"I do lots of them. My quirk burns my skin," he said.
"Oh, that makes sense, Stacey said you looked like a serial killer, but so do I, just most of my scars are covered up by my shirt. My foster parents wanted to make sure they got their money for having me," you said as you tried to put your cup on the counter but you missed making it drop on the ground, scaring you.
You stepped backward, but you tripped over a box, and the tea got all over you, and the teapot hit the floor. He was about to laugh at you but took this as the perfect time to kill you.
"Fucking shit," you said as he helped you up and was about to set you on fire but saw burn marks on the back of your arm he never noticed before probably because you were wearing a long sleeve jacket in the dead heat.
"Who did this?" He asked, touching the burn mark.
"My seventh foster family; I came out of my room during a dinner party. They told me not to because I was covered in scars and ugly, but I was hungry. They didn't feed me all day because I broke a dish the day before. Came out, and his co-workers praised him for taking me in. They asked me questions. I, of course, lied to protect myself, but even though I did good, he burned my arm on the stove. He's not alive anymore. He was speeding and hit a tree," you explained.
"You don't lie about your scars," he said.
"No reason to, hold on, let me change clothes," you said. You went to the bedroom. Three seconds later, he heard you hit the ground.
"Stacey, you overwatered the plant again!" You hollered as he got up and went into the bedroom to see you shirtless.
Anger filled him seeing cigarette burns, human bite marks, whip marks, regular cut scars, and burns. You even have rope burn scars, making him rethink killing you. You tried to get up on your own, but Dabi helped you up, and you could feel the scars on his hands.
"You are not Stacey. Sorry, you had to see me like this," you chuckled.
"What color of shirt do you want?" He asked.
"Doesn't matter. I'm wearing jeans," you said as he got you a shirt.
What he went through seemed like nothing at all compared to what you went through, and yet you were still kind. He didn't know why you weren't angry at anyone for what they did to you or became like him something stopped you, but what?
"Hey, get out of here!" Stacey growled.
"It's fine he helped me up," you said as she put a towel down.
"You need to do laundry. You're out of towels," she stated.
"Okay, I'll do it," you said.
"How many foster homes were you in?" He asked.
"Thirty-four, then I aged out," you said as he saw two embryos in picture frames on your nightstand.
He saw the different dates and realized you were fourteen and sixteen at these times they only had the same year twice and a dash in the middle, meaning they didn't live. He wasn't going to ask you about them. He lost the desire to kill you because you were living, and it was painful enough. No matter what he did, it wouldn't compare to what everyone else did to you already.
"That's a lot, and here I thought my life was tough," he said.
"Yoursl was, we all handle experiences differently. Pain is pain, and we deal with it differently. Some of us become killers while some become radio show hosts," you chuckled.
"So you are saying I'm a killer now?" He asked as you touched his arms.
"Nah, you are too nice to be one," you smiled as you then touched his face.
"Yeah, too nice," you said as he smiled a bit.
For now, he was going to keep you alive until you annoyed him, and then he was going to kill you. He was probably going to kill Stacey first, though, he didn't like her at all.
