Two introverts: Tamaki × reader part 4

You were now exercising every morning and night with no one knowing about it to try to get yourself into shape. You only ate alone and missed lunch often because you couldn't bring yourself to eat with people around. But then Tamaki started making you the same thing to try to get you to eat something. Your food had been postponed before, but you didn't care. If you died, you died, but he was trying to get you to eat.

At first, you just looked at it, but after a couple of weeks, you started eating with him mostly because you were working now and you needed the calories. Miro and Nejire made you get out of the dorm room classes as often as you could even though you didn't speak or do anything with them. You still never smiled or laughed or even made sounds other than sighs most of the time. Your heart was still broken, but maybe you were healing.

Other people from different schools even slammed the mob that attacked you because you were already down and didn't have anything to fight for. Your friends told the media that your quirk was destroyed by the car that hit you. Any time they got a bit of spotlight, they would slam the crowd that even went to the school to get you kicked out. You didn't know that they did that, but the teachers took care of it and also slammed them heavily. There was still hate circling you, but you were trying. Your hair was lightning up slowly, and Tamaki didn't make it a big deal because he didn't know what that meant.

You tried to get the nerve to talk to people who weren't your parents now. But it was hard, and the mere thought of it scared you to death. You were on patrol even though your powers were no longer usable. You were with Tamaki, and he was a nervous wreck. You tried to calm him, especially because you were trying to build up the courage to talk to him.

"I don't even know why they want you here. They are putting you in danger," Tamaki said softly as you shrugged.

"Your hair has gotten lighter. Is that a good thing?" He asked as you shrugged.

"I wish you talked, I know you don't want to, which is fine, but I never know if I make you mad or uncomfortable, or really anything. It's stressful," he said as he put his hood down.

You pulled his hood up, making him turn red and look away. You smiled at him, and he looked at you shocked since he had never seen you smile before. He saw a small strand of your hair turn pure white. He was shocked and turned away, realizing your hair turning back into white was a good sign. Maybe it was your mood that was improving, but he didn't know or know how to ask you without making you uncomfortable.

You made him look at you, making his face turn bright red, and you almost laughed as he was getting nervous and embarrassed.

"You aren't going to do anything weird, are you? Are you mad at me?" He asked as you were about to talk to him when you heard screaming.

"Gun!" Someone yelled as pure chaos started to fill the street.

Gunshots rang out, and a pure evil laugh. Once most of the people cleared out, it was just both of you and Tamaki.

"Well, isn't it the zero hero? What the fuck gives you the right to take the lives of all those people? You are supposed to be a hero!" the man yelled as you put up your hands.

Tamaki was about to grab him when the guy snatched a man and was holding him at gunpoint.

"You don't have to do this. She didn't do anything wrong. She did her best. Let the man go now," Tamaki said as the man chuckled.

"You people never listen to reason! I lost everyone I cared about that day. My wife, my three kids, my home! I lost everything, and she still gets to be called a hero!! How is that even fair? She didn't lose anything important that day, but I did! You "lost" your powers, please, you don't want to use them! Well, now you are going to have to. There is an elevated railway with no breaks and a bomb that's going to go off in the square. Which one is real?!" He yelled.

"She's not a mind reader! You put a bomb I'm the square?!" He asked.

"Thousands of lives are at risk here. A plain black backpack hidden under a bench and the elevated railway that goes through this city! Both could be real or just one. Chose!" He yelled.

You looked at the man he was holding and the way he described both of them. They both had to be real. So, while Tamaki was trying to calm the guy down, you took off running to the railway.

"You dumb bitch!" He screamed you looked behind you and summoned a broken sword and hit him with the butt of it knocking him out and continued to run.

"Y/n, your quirk doesn't work! You're going to die!!!" He yelled as you continued to run.

He took off in the other direction, and he immediately started calling anyone and hoping they were going to help you, but no one answered.

"Come on!" He said as he was looking at the benches.

"Hello?" Kirishima said as he was in his room.

"I need help! A crazy guy put a bomb under a bench in the square and did something to the electric railway. That cuts threw the city! Y/n went to the railway way, but her quirk was broken! She isn't going to make it if she tries to stop it!" He said, panicked as Kirishima started waking everyone up.

"I don't know what to do. Where is the bomb?!" He panicked as he was trying to save you and save the people here.

"It's okay. Where are you? We will be there as fast as we can," Kirishima said as Tamaki started panicking more.

"I don't know! I don't know! Where is it?!" He panicked as he saw a bench with a black backpack under it.

"Oh no..." he said as he dropped the phone and went to the backpack.

The electronic railway you were going to be out of control and going almost two hundred miles per hour, and it was only picking up speed; people were screaming as the brakes refused to stop the train and the emergency brake wasn't engaging. You got on the tracks and saw the tram coming your way.

Before you knew it, you got hit, and you were trying to make it slow down to no prevail. Your shoes started giving out, and you were going straight to the energy dock area. But the sudden stop would kill most of the people on board, and you had to stop it before hundreds of people died. You weren't stopping it, and at this moment, you were excited you were going to die as a failure. But then you remembered your friends. Even if you didn't say anything or try to engage with you, they were doing their best to help you. Tamaki talked to you sometimes, but most were waiting for you to do anything signaling him. You wanted a conversation. But you never did, so it was like he was talking to himself most of the time. He went out of his way to help you even made Mirio follow you to make sure you were alright and tried to stay up to probably talk to you. They were the reason you wanted to be better. You needed to be better for your dead best friend and yourself because you couldn't live with the guilt anymore. You had people that had your back and wanted you around. They wanted you, and they cared. You were just going to let all of their kindness, and their attempts go to waste.

"I want to live!" You yelled and started putting everything you had into stopping the train. You closed your eyes as your wings popped out and armor appeared on your feet and legs as well as your hands and arms.

"For the first time in my life, I want to live! I don't want to live just for myself but for my friends who stood up for me and refused to let me go! I'm not going to let them down! If I die, so be it, but I will not let these people die because I keep feeling sorry for myself! I will do my best to live for them!" You screamed as Tamaki found the bag and opened it to see that Bob only had three seconds left on it.

"Oh God!" He said as he grabbed it and threw it up high into the sky.

"Everyone, get down!" He yelled, making everyone get down and scatter as the bomb went off.

You were waiting for the impact, and to your shock, there wasn't one. The speaking stopped, and you opened your eyes to see you were mere centimeters from getting crushed to death. You kept your hands on the tram and looked down to see your armor was back.

"Y/n!!!" Kirishima yelled as Tamaki went to the roadside and saw you.

You did something.

You fell to your knees, and everyone was looking at you shocked seeing your wings were back as well as pieces of your armor.

"I thought her quirk was broken," Shoto said as Tamaki looked at you shocked.

Your wings were bright as well as the armor you had on. Your hair was still dull, but it was white. You sat there for a moment before looking down at your friends.

"Y/n! You did it! You did it!" Kirishima screamed as he went down to them.

Your friends started helping them off the tram while you sat there breathing hard and bleeding from small injuries you got. Tamaki sat next to you as you were in a state of shock.

"Mommy, look, it's Valkery! She got her wings back!" A kid yelled as she ran over to you and hugged you tightly.

You didn't know what to do because you weren't hugged by a stranger in so long. You were used to getting screamed at not hugged.

"Liz, get away from her now!" A woman growled.

"Can I have your autograph, please!!!" The girl begged as you smiled at her and sighed at a poster that was older than her.

"Stay away from her, you murder," the woman hissed as the girl looked up at her mother.

"But Dady said it's not her fault that people are just mean," she said.

"Well, that's why Daddy doesn't live with us anymore, he lies," she scoffed as you sighed weakly.

"I'm proud of you. What made your armor come back?" Tamaki asked as you hugged him close.

"What's happening?" He asked as his face turned red, and a picture was taken of the both of you.

"It's not what It looks like! I hate being out I'm public," he muttered as he hid his face in embarrassment.
