It took you a couple of weeks to wake up again, and once you were awake, your two younger brothers were all over you. Thanks to your efforts, you saved over fifty lives, including Neji's. You didn't like Neji due to the fact he was serious all the time or only had sex on his mind. But you took his place so he wouldn't die a horrible death. Neji went on missions now and again and always came back in one piece. You wanted to rub it in his face when he got hurt, but he never got that bad.

You never talked to him after that, thankfully. Right now, you are sitting under a waterfall training. You weren't wearing a bra, but your hair covered you well. The water was cold, but you had grown used to it and almost fell asleep in your spot with how relaxed you were. You were hidden and invisible due to your jutsu and the tree coverage. You were about to move when you saw Neji, which made you sigh.

"Please, no, he's going to judge me for being topless," you thought as Neji started taking off his vest and shirt.

"Is he going to take a bath here? Really, so much for my training," you thought as he took off his bandages and headband, revealing his curse mark.

He started practicing with his hair down and shirtless, making you sigh in relief. You watched him for a while and liked how he was training. Sure, it was basic skills, but those skills were essential. After a while, he had to take a pee break, which made you chuckle because he was such a shy guy. He didn't bother to use his byakugan to see if anyone was around because Neji thought he was alone; little did he know you were there.

He washed his hands in the river below, which surprised you, but so did your brothers since you taught them that. You watched him briefly before falling asleep under the waterfall training.

"Neji!" Julien yelled as Joel looked for you behind a bush.

"What are you two doing here? Shouldn't you be with your sister or parents?" He asked.

"Y/n said she was going to train this morning here, but it's lunchtime already, and she hasn't returned. Sometimes she falls asleep while training," Joel smiled.

"That's not training; then it's napping," he said.

"Hey, our sister works hard to do her job! Sometimes, she needs a nap," Joel said.

"I'm sure; let's see if I can find her," he said as he used his byakugan to look for you to see nothing but the waterfall acting weird. Nothing was there, but the easier was hitting something and moving around whatever it was before going down.

He went to the small cliffside and saw your clothes lying in the neatly folded grass. You must have brought a spare set of clothes and were sitting under the cold water, dead asleep. He went over to you, getting wet in the process, and felt how cold the water was and shivered as he went in front of you and grabbed your shoulders. Your invisibility disappeared due to you doing it while you were sleeping, revealing you were topless, making him scream. You screamed in response, and both fell into the water below, making your two younger brothers panic.

"Y/n?!" Julien asked as you came up, and Neji came up after you.

"What the hell was that?!" You yelled.

"Why are you naked in a public place?" He asked.

"I'm not naked; I'm wearing underwear, you freak! No one was here when I arrived, and I was invisible!" You yelled.

"So, men could come here! I came here to train not to look at a naked girl," Neji yelled at you.

"I was well hidden; you perverted byakugan user! You freaked out because you saw a pair of boobs?!" You yelled.

"Your inappropriate behavior is going to rub off on your brothers! You're lucky they aren't girls because they will end up as ladies of the night because of you!" He said as you slapped him hard across the face.

"How dare you! If you haven't noticed, I am a woman, so I must be unpredictable. Me being naked has nothing to do with them, so you leave them out of this. I train for intense situations, cold being one. The fewer clothes I have on, the colder it is! If you were focusing on your training, boobs wouldn't affect you at all!" You said.

"I wasn't expecting you naked! No wonder you don't have a boyfriend; you keep acting like an improper lady, and you will be single till the day you die!" Neji said as you slapped him harder.

"Unlike you, I don't need a man in my life. I don't want one right now either because protecting my family is important to me. If the guy doesn't like me for who I am, then I don't need him," you explained as he held his face.

"Don't slap me!" He said.

"Then don't judge my training; it's difficult and strange for a reason!" You growled.

"I'll beat you in a fight!" He said you looked at him.

"All I have to do is show up naked because you won't fight a naked woman or a guy, for that matter!" You said as you started to head to the shore.

Your younger brothers had gotten your clothes, and you started putting them on. Neji looked away, annoyed, but then began to head to shore. He got his shirt and vest but looked at you awkwardly as you rushed more than he did. After you were done, you took your brothers away from the area and headed home.

"Women! I will never understand why they want to be right when they are wrong sometimes. No one wants to see breasts unless they are other girls or they are married men. I sure as hell don't. I would like to focus on my training strictly, not on women. They are just a distraction," he muttered to himself.

But after trying to train, he started to feel bad for what he said to you. Especially telling you that your inappropriate behavior would have led your sister to prostitution if you had any. You were hidden away, and the only reason he found you was because he noticed the waterfall acting strange. He could have just yelled for you when he saw your clothes lying there. The water was freezing, and he had no idea how you could have fallen asleep under it.

"I'm not apologizing," he muttered as he sighed, feeling guilty.

"Why must my subconscious be annoying?" He asked as he decided to apologize to you for what he said.

He tried to find you, but you were nowhere to be seen. Maybe you got sent away on a mission, and now he was probably never going to be able to apologize to you. He decided to take a bath in the bathhouse to calm his thoughts.

"Hey, Neji," Naruto said as Neji sighed weakly.

"Hi," he said as he got into the water.

"What's the matter with you? You never are this sad-looking," Naruto pointed out.

"I caught Y/n training, and I startled her. She was minding her business and sitting under that cold waterfall outside town. I told her she needed to stop being indecent in public, but she was invisible, to begin with. I don't know why, but I feel like I should apologize to her even though it was her fault for being nude," he explained.

"Oh, her brothers were looking for her and asked where that waterfall was. Her brothers were so mad at you that it was kind of funny. They both wanted to fight you for making her angry," they are with Hinata on the girls' side of the bathhouse right now. They should know where she is. I wish I could be on the girl's side right now," Naruto said as he thought about Hinata on the other side.

"No, you didn't!" He said as Naruto smiled weakly.

"We are getting married soon anyways; it was kind of a spear-of-the-moment thing. I wanted to wait, but wow, Hinata is beautiful," Naruto said.

"If I catch you too alone again, I'll kill you!" Neji growled.

"Not my fault. I love her! Maybe if you had a girlfriend, you wouldn't be so jealous!" Naruto said.

Neji barely survived that war. Something saved him from dying; those spikes would have killed him, but they were burned in mid-air, and he survived. Now that he thought about it, your ames were powerful; did you do that? Did you save him unintentionally? He hated you more now than ever, thinking you were better than him and making him endure that war. You must have been out of chakra after that massive blast. If it weren't for you, a lot of people would have died, including him.

"I'm so sick of her!" Neji growled.

"Hey, she is your cousin!" Naruto said.

"Nlt her but Y/n! Remember that fire blast that shielded shorts from the wood spikes? She made it; I know she did!" Neji growled.

"It doesn't matter who made it. You lived, and that's all that matters," Naruto said.

But if he had died, then he would have fulfilled the one purpose he was born for. You bought him time, and he had so much burning resentment for living, and now he had to find a new purpose for living. He never really had to worry about it until now. Everyone was finding love but him. Tenten and Lee were awkward, but they were starting to date. He had no one. He wasn't angry about that but was now trying to find his destiny that wasn't dictated by a curse mark. It was frustrating and annoying. He had to set those feelings aside for now and be the bigger person and apologize to you.

He wrapped his lower half in a towel and went to the girl's side, which made Tenten scream while Hinata looked at him, annoyed.

"What the hell!" She growled as both boys looked away from him.

"We aren't talking to you! You made our sister mad for some reason," Julien said.

"Yeah, you meanie head! We said we were looking for her, but you didn't have to make her mad. Boys are mean!" Joel said.

"Hey, you are boys too!" Neji scoffed.

"No, we are kids, that's different! She was minding her own business, but no, since she was training to tolerate colder climates, you had to say put on some clothes. Put on your clothes; no wonder you don't have a boyfriend," Julien mocked.

"I made a mistake, and I want to apologize to your sister. I was wrong; she was training, and I scared her," he said.

"She's out right now and won't be back till later," Joel said.

"Where?" Neji asked.

"None of your business; you aren't her husband or boyfriend, so I don't have to tell you anything," Julien said.

"Excuse me, I'm older than you," Neji said.

"So? Are you my dad? Are you my mom? No, you aren't my family, so I mustn't tell you anything. plus, you were rude about it!" Julien said.

"Why, you little!" Neji growled.

"Can you please tell him where your sister is?" Hinata asked.

"Sure, she is in the woods hunting. She wanted snake for dinner," Joel said.

"See, not so hard you say please if you want something. Thank you afterward; it's not hard, proper manners, too bad you don't have any. If you did, maybe my sister would go out with you. But you're a jerk, and my sister is way too good for you," Julien said.

"I will never date your sister; she's awful! I just wanted to apologize to her for being wrong!" Neji yelled.

"Hey, don't yell at them!" Hinata said.

"They are being jerks!" Neji said.

"Now you know how our sister felt," Julien said as the ground shook.

To their surprise, you game through the men's side through the wall and another part of the wall. You landed on all fours with a knife in your mouth, making everyone look at you shocked.

"Hi y/n!" Joel said as you stood up and looked at them.

You were covered in blood that wasn't yours, and you glared at Neji.

"Being a pervert, Neji?" You asked.

"What happened to you?!" Neji asked.

"Not like you care now; if you excuse me, I am getting my dinner," you said as you quickly went back outside, only to hear screaming.

Neji was about to go out there and help you, but to everyone's shock, you had a snake under your left arm, beating it with your right as it plowed through the building.

"Back the fuck up!" You yelled as you started pushing the snake back and violently hitting it.

"That's my sister!" Julien cheered as you were fighting it outside again.

You kicked the snake up in the air, then did some hand signs.

"Air style bull charge!" You yelled as you headed butted the snake down into the ground killing it.

"Sorry about the building; this thing went after me, and I didn't want to start a forest fire," you said as Ino and Sai came running to see what was happening.

"That was awesome!" Joel yelled as he came out with his lower half wrapped up.

"Joel, you just had a bath; I will cook this for us tonight," you said as you were ringing out the blood from your shirt.

Neji wasn't paying any attention to the conversation, but for some reason, seeing you pick it up and put it over your shoulder was intimidating. But also made him realize he was the real problem as to why you two couldn't get along. The first time you met, they were there in your personal space, and to throw them off without hurting them, you did that stuff to scare them. It worked, too, and since you knew Neji would be harder to convince to go with you, you tried to do the same thing you did to Naruto to him. But he had been training to fight you after you embarrassed the hell out of him in front of everyone. You knew them before they knew you. He thought severely of you, but as soon as you found out his name was on that list, you fought as hard as you could to take his place so he would have a chance to live, even though you had a lot to lose.

"Y/n," Neji said as you paused.

"What? Snake blood is going places it shouldn't, so make it fast!" You growled.

"I'm sorry about earlier today; I did bother you while you were training. I noticed your clothes, and I should have called for you rather than doing what you did. I'm also sorry for what I said to you. It was out of line," Neji explained.

"It was, do it again, and you won't have a dick anymore, got it," you said.

"What?" He asked.

"You heard me; I'll cut it off and make you eat it," you said.

"I apologize, and you tell me that! What is wrong with you?!" He asked.

"Like I said, I don't need a man to make me happy; your apology doesn't mean anything unless you also show how sorry you are. An apology is only as good as the person's intentions," you explained as you started dragging the snake along.

"Get her some flowers; she likes those," Joel said.

"Never give a girl flowers when they are angry because if you do that, it doesn't mean anything. You should give a girl flowers for no reason," Julien said.

"Then he should help her cut up the snake," Joel said.

"I think I will leave her alone and give her space," Neji said.

"What, why?" They both asked.

"I annoy her, that's why. Next time we meet, hopefully, we will be on the same page. For now, we aren't, and sometimes, if we want to show how sorry we are, we leave them alone for a while," Neji said.
