"Hey, Y/n," Lee said as you smiled.

"Hi Rock! I thought you were going on a mission," you said as you were cooking, waiting for the others to return from the store.

"I finished it with my team already," he said as you smiled.

"You always finish early; here is this good?" You asked. You got out a spoon and put some curry on it.

"It is, but it's supposed to be spicier. Well, I like mine spicy," he said.

"Good thing I sent the boys to the store," you smiled.

"Once you are done with that, can you bring them to the practice area?" He asked.

"Practice area?" You asked, confused.

"Yeah, I got challenged by a sand village guy wanting to prove himself. So before you came around, there was another sand village guy who challenged me, and it was a tight match. But I ended up losing it, and he crippled me. But I got surgery to fix all of it. It won't happen this time," he said as you looked worried.

"I can be there and stop the match if you want," you said.

"No, thank you! Guy and my team will be there. I will be fine, I'm just letting you know so you don't come running to save me," he smiled.

"I'll get the bandages and things ready for you then," you smiled, but deep down, you were afraid for his well-being.

"Thank you! I better go before I'm late. I'm going to give it my all!" He said as he hugged you and then left.

"So when you kissed him, he didn't say anything about it?" Sakura asked.

"Nope... but it's okay he's still a great guy. I'll tell him maybe, but I don't want our friendship to be ruined," you said as she sighed weakly.

"I know how that is. I still can't believe you fell in love with him, though I was sure Naruto or Kiba would be more your type," she chuckled.

"He's nice, I didn't know I loved him until we practiced almost all night, and I told him something I really shouldn't have because it's the main reason why I'm here. It's not the arranged marriage thing either. I just... trying to explain it is hard, especially because it could kill me. I had to hide the truth from all of you about it, and I don't like lying to people," you explained.

"I know, but sometimes you have to. I'm glad you told someone, though. So what is this big secret of yours? Is it about your forbidden jutsu?" She asked.

"Yeah... hopefully, you never have to find out the hard way ever," you said.

"Who brought the spice we brought the spice!" Naruto yelled as he came through the window with Sasuke.

"Nice! Now let's finish this up and take it to Lee," you said.

It took ten minutes, but once it was finished, you put some into a container, and all three of them followed close behind you.

"Hi, Ash!" You said as the crow started flying close to all of you.

"It's so weird you have bird friends!" Naruto chuckled.

"How about that venomous snake she gave water to recently? You don't think that's weird?" Sasuke asked.

"Snakes are cool, birds are just weird," he explained, and they entered the building and went to the observation level of the arena.

"So after -" You paused as you saw Lee standing there.

You knew something was wrong just by looking at him, and the sand village guy was still going after him. You dropped the box and quickly went to Lee before even Guy or anyone else could intervene in the situation.

"Nova blast!" You yelled after doing the signs for it. Before anyone had any understanding about what was happening, the sand village guy was gone.

The arena dirt floor was now sharp glass shards, and a massive hole was in the side of the area, making everyone shake in terror.

"Lee!" You yelled as you went over to him and saw the only thing that was holding him up was sheer willpower, making you tear up.

"No, no, Lee, you said you... you said you were going to be okay," you said as Guy was about to touch him, but you punched him in the face hard.

"Stay away from him! I know I'm not a ninja; I know you have your ways, but let this get this far! He's hurt badly if you can't tell. If you go near him, I won't be easy on you," you said as the sand village man tried attacking you, but you grabbed him by the neck without fully looking at him.

"I said stay away from him. You should have stayed down," you said as you started hitting all of his pressure points and then did one-handed jutsu.

"Sandstorm," you said as dirt came up from the ground and took him away through the glass and outside.

You turned your hands green and touched Lee's body, making you cry.

"You can't move him... there is a bone that shouldn't be there. If you move him, it will kill him," you said as Guy looked at you, shocked.

You didn't have to look at your friends, knowing they were angry and sad. Worst of all, a lot of people who weren't on missions were here to watch Lee fight. Now they were going to watch their friend die.

"We still need you, I still need you," you said as you took out a necklace and put some of your Chakra into it.

"Naruto catch!" You said you through a part of the necklace at Naruto.

"It has enough energy to heal a fatal injury, disease, and poison. Don't waste it," you said as Kakashi looked at you, horrified.

"You can't do that, jutsu!" He yelled.

"I can, and I will. I am your mission; well, he's mine. My Jutsu is strong enough to save his life, and I will use it when I see fit! He will die if I don't do it, and I'm not letting him die like this. I would do it for any of you! This is not a battlefield. This was supposed to be only practice. I can heal him, but it comes at a great cost to me. All of my Chakra, if there is not enough, then a part of my spirit. I will feel everything he felt when he got hurt, but three hundred times worse, and my recovery time will take a long time. Two and a half weeks are for non-fatal injuries with his; it will take longer, or I'll die. That is the coat of my Jutsu, and I think it's more than a fair trade for him to be alive.

Don't let him do any jutsu for two weeks after I do this. Don't touch me if I have the black symbol on my back and tell my parents I'm not afraid of what they think of me anymore. I chose to do this it was him or me, and I chose him like a real ninja would. Medical jutsu... instant full-body healing jutsu!" You said as you did the signs for it and hugged him. The white part of the yin and yang sign appeared on your right hand, while the black part appeared on your other hand.

Your Chakra started leaving your body as the sign slowly came together on his back and turned into the pure white side while your back had a pure black Ying and Yang sign. Your veins started to turn black, and the pain started coursing through your body as beautiful lights started coming from the sign on his back. The flowers would bloom, and light seemed to dance around the come back to heal his body.

It was beautiful, and Guy could see Lee's injuries disappearing like nothing ever happened to him while you were taking all the pain. The color in your eyes was gone, and only white remained as your veins turned black, and then so did your eyes. Your hair turned white, and when the light was almost gone, you let go of him and took steps back as pure agony surged through your body.

"Y/n!" Naruto screamed as your other friends were holding him back as they looked at you in horror. You collapsed at Lee's feet after your skin turned deathly pale.

As soon as you hit the ground, your hair turned back to normal, and the black veins disappeared once the mark disappeared on both you and Lee. Your body was twitching due to the pain, but Lee was going to be fine because of what you did.

"Is she breathing?!" Kiba asked as Guy was going to check for a pulse but saw the mark was still somewhat there.

"Don't touch her, yet the mark is still there a little," Guy said as he touched you anyway and felt what you felt for a split second until he pried his hand off of you.

The mark disappeared, and Guy looked at Kakashi as Kakashi checked for a pulse.

"She's barely alive. Take her back to the hospital now," he said as Ash was squawking madly at them.

Naruto picked you up and looked at Guy angrily.

"This happened before! Just because it's a good fight for Lee to prove himself doesn't mean you can't stop it from ending up like this!" He growled.

"If she dies saving him, I hope you will be able to live with that!" Naruto added.

"Naruto, it was her choice," Sasuke said.

"What choice did she have?! If he moved even an inch, he would have been dead. He wakes up and tells us goodbye before dying?! Do you think she would have accepted that from anyone? No one stopped the fight, and Lee probably couldn't stop the fight quickly enough before he ended up like that!" Naruto growled.

"I watched the fight. He was doing good, and then it was over," Kiba said as Kakashi sighed weakly.

"I'll stay here with Lee, take her," Guy said as Naruto quickly took you away.

Lee woke up a couple of hours later, lying on the area floor, and he sat up quickly.

"What happened? Did I win?" He asked.

"How do you feel?" Guy asked.

"Like I had not only the best sleep of my life but also like I could run for days!" He said.

"Curry! Where is it?" He asked, smelling it on the floor upstairs.

"That's good. You lost the fight," Guy said as Lee looked at him confused.

"But I feel great! I don't even hurt anywhere, so how did I lose?" He asked.

"The sand village guy dealt you a deadly blow. It broke a bone, and if you would have moved an inch, it would have killed you," he said.

"What, but I don't hurt? Who healed me?" He asked as Huy looked away.

"If I heal someone, I'll feel their pain but three hundred times worse," you said as Lee started to look at Guy with tears in his eyes.

"Promise me you will never do that, Jutsu!"

"I can't promise you anything," you said as Lee started crying.

"No! No! She would never do that! She is under protection detail! She wouldn't..." he cried.

"She did she's in the hospital right now. We don't know how long she will be there because you were badly hurt. Your entire left side was affected from what I saw," he said as Lee got up and took off the hospital.

When he got there, crows were everywhere. He went in and went to the top floor. He went to your room, and all your friends were quiet. when Lee got there, it hurt to see you lying in the bed from doing that jutsu on him.

"It's just practice, don't worry," he said as he thought about it.

"I told you not to go against Rock Lee or Naruto," Gaara said as Lee saw Gaara leave the other guy's room.

"You look well, good job, Lee," Gaara said as the other guy was screaming in anger.

"I won that fight! That stupid bitch did this to me! She protected him before I could kill him!" He screamed as Lee went into the guy's room and saw you broke every bone in his arms, legs, and hands.

"How dare you! She is a great fighter and a good friend of mine because you decided to cripple and kill me. Instead of just knocking me out, she had to use forbidden jutsu to save my life, and now she's probably going to die!" Lee yelled.

"Oh yeah, that full-body healing jutsu is only possible through the song clan. Only a mere handful can use that jutsu without dying before the completion of the jutsu. Since she's one of them, people will want her badly,y, and you won't be able to protect her. A life for a life is what I have to say about that! Now she's done that. How many people do you think will find out she is here? She fixed you up nicely, but the recovery time is awful. The pain is even worse. Once I get out of this, I'll make sure she won't do any jutsu ever again, but you know, someone may even beat me to the punch!" He laughed as Gaara quickly held Lee back.

"No one is going to miss you if I kill you. You are already in a lot of trouble for
Forging a pass to be in this village and attempting to kill a... rival and a friend of mine. You reveal she is here. You will be dead before entering our village," Gaara said.

"You wouldn't," he said 

"Oh, but I would, and you know better than anyone that I would. I'll have someone else pick you up and take you back. Now that you made a very big mistake that caused her identity to be revealed and made her a target, I'm going to clean up your mess. If you breathe a word about her, you're dead. I will find out, and no matter where you go or no matter where you hide, I will find you, and I will kill you. Do you understand me?" He asked, and Gaara's eyes seemed to be looking into his very soul.

"Yes, I do," he said shakily.

"Good also, by the way, if that girl dies, you die too, so you better hope she lives. Otherwise, your death will be very painful," he explained as he took Lee out of the room and closed the door.

"I'm sorry I came here too late. How is she doing?' He asked as Lee paused.

"I don't know, I saw her for a minute before hearing his voice," Lee said.

"You should be grateful she is even breathing. It steals the casters' souls if they don't have enough Chakra to heal the person," he said as he followed Lee to your room.

"Stals there, soul?" Lee asked as he faced him.

"Yes, without the Chakra, the jutsu will convert the so into Chakra, killing the user; I bet she didn't tell you before doing it," Gaara said.

"I was unconscious when she did it," he said.

"Gaara?" Naruto asked.

"Sorry I'm late, but now you will have me to watch over her, too. Her powers are dangerous, and even if she has no Chakra, all they have to do is force her to convert her soul into Chakra or, in even worse cases, her body," Gaara said.

"Wait, you know about her, Jutsu?" Naruto asked.

"It is the rare jutsu you can do; no one really can live through it unless they have a lot of physical, spiritual, and strong mind to do it. The pain they feel normally kills them, or they don't have enough Chakra to do it, so they die," he said.

"Y/n did this twice, once for her brother and once for Lee," Naruto said.

"Twice? I hope she lives. No one on record has completed that jutsu without losing something important. There is sanity or mobility. If she is as strong as you say, your village is in great danger," Gaara said.

"How much danger are we talking g about?" Naruto asked.

"Would you like to have a village to come back to?" Gaara asked.

"No way," Naruto said.

"Doing her jutsu revealed where she was to any spies you have in this village. Now, she's unable to fight for herself. She will be a very easy target," Gaara explained.

"What are you going to do?" Naruto asked.

"Protect her as much as we can. Since Dune snuk here illegally to fight Lee and made her use her jutsu, I will stay here until she wakes up, maybe a couple of weeks after, depending on how she is," he said.

"Do you think he is a spy?" Lee asked.

"No, he's too stupid to be one. If I wanted her, I would have hurt one of you badly in private after watching you all to see who she is with the most. Make her do her jutsu, then take her," he said.

"Even if it killed her?" Naruto asked.

"The song's bloodline is strong doing that jutsu even once leaves the body empty of chakra or worse, soul. Someone may want to bring someone back from the dead, and if so, with her bloodline and power she has, it would be possible to," Gaara explained.

"Bring someone back from the dead?! You mean like their soul and put it in her body?" Sakura asked.

"Yes, you have no idea what her bloodline is capable of. Have the right things, and you can bring back several people just draining her blood and soul," he said.

"Well, thank goodness you're here... no wonder she didn't tell anyone... this just went from bad to worse," Naruto said.

"It has indeed," Gaara said.
