Pride: Shindo × Male Reader part 2 [Ao3 Request #2]
Before you stepped foot in the apartment building, you saw your parents with crossed arms, and your sister smiled evilly.
"Finally, got yourself disowned. You're a disappointment to not only yourself but to everyone around you. Get out, we don't want you here," she said as you were going to try to reason with them, but you were cut off.
"Everything under our name is not yours anymore leave," your father growled as you had no choice but to leave.
You went to your bank and took out all the money you were saving for college, which wasn't a lot, but it was something. You bought yourself clothes and a phone but didn't put any of your friends' numbers in it because you knew they weren't your friends anymore. Your heart was broken, but there was nothing you could do besides grab a bus ticket to your grandfather's house. He lived on a farm on the outskirts of town, and you knew he would take you in. He had a soft spot for you and always had because you were the only one who wanted to visit or talk to him.
You arrived at the bus stop and then went to the bus stop closest to the farm. You had to walk a mile to the farm, but once you made it, your grandfather was on the porch. You opened the gate, and your grandfather got up to see you. He knew something was wrong because you didn't have anything with you.
"Y/n what happened to you?" He asked as you sighed weakly.
"My parents found out I was gay also I had a quirk. A very useless quirk that turned out to be useful for once. Can I use your phone? I need to call my work and see if I still have a job," you said as he nodded.
You called your work, and you had no job to return to because you made the men in your place uncomfortable well, just your supervisor as far as you knew, so you were fired for not showing up for work today even though you didn't have work today.
"Y/n, come here," your grandfather said as you sat next to him on the couch.
"Me and your grandmother were an arranged marriage. I am also gay and she knew that. I loved her so much, though, because she never forced me to do anything I didn't want to. Your mother and your two uncles are amazing, and I would never change having them because I got you. Life is never fair and will never be fair. People will hate you no matter what and will find reasons to. I never cheated on your grandmother even though there was a man I fell madly in love with. He was married to a woman, but we both knew we couldn't be with each other. Times are changing, and if they want to hate you for something that isn't your fault, then let them.
You are the greatest grandson I could ever ask for, and no matter if you have a quirk or if you're gay it doesn't define you; It's just a part of you. You can stay here, and you can work on the farm for a while until you figure something out," he said, making you smile.
But your smile faded as soon as he left for another room. You were heartbroken and angry at your coworkers for making fun of you and bullying you, your parents for putting in your head that people with quirks and gay people were not even people, and the villains for making you reveal both sides of you that you kept suppressed for so long.
You were mad, and all you could do was be mad. You lost your friends, your job, your family, your home. You lost who you were and wished you never released your quirk. All you wanted to be was a normal nobody who was average in school but graduated early because you made sure to take every class you could to do so. You had no time for anything other than school and did summer school on top of everything else. All your hard work meant nothing to everyone, including yourself.
All your friends went to your workplace and found out you quit, but one intern who was worried about you said you were fired for being late. You were on time every day except for once three months ago due to a family emergency. You called to let everyone know, and even then, you got sick of your parents, so you went to work. You were only three minutes late that day, so their firing you was bogus.
Shindo was angry. Not just a little angry but so angry that he could level the place to the ground. You risked your life several times to fix people's suits during a tough battle so that their drawbacks wouldn't kill them or get them killed during the battle. You got in the way a lot, too, but that was beside the point you saved people, but just because you were gay you got fired for making people uncomfortable in the workplace.
He went to the CEO's office and burst through the doors while everyone was trying to hold him back.
"You fired my best friend for being gay!" He yelled as the CEO looked at him confused.
"Who?" He asked.
"Y/n! You know exactly who he is, and I bet if we dig a bit, he can sue you for everything you got!" He yelled as he got everyone off of him.
"You have no grounds for your accusations. Leave before I call security," he said as he went up to his desk and used his powers on it.
It quickly fell apart, making the CEO freeze.
"Yeah, well, actually, we do. You will give him his old job back but with a raise, and if you don't, well, I know some people that would level this building to the ground. You may supply parts to our suits and build some, but the truth is we can go somewhere else. It might be more expensive, but I wonder if you're cutting corners here. Maybe I should take a look around and see what else you are hiding," he said as he went pale.
"I will..." he said as Shindo smiled.
"Clean up your act or I will, and let me tell you, I won't be nice about it. Everything will be leveled, and I mean everything, also exposed to the world. Don't kill people with your greed," he growled.
"Anything else you need?" He asked softly.
"Y/N's home address," he said as he nodded.
"Stacey, can you please give me the home address of Y/n L/n please," he said after searching for his phone.
When they arrived at your apartment, people were moving your stuff out. In boxes that weren't labeled.
"What are you doing?!" Shindo asked as he took a box from one of the movers.
"Problems here?" Your father asked as he looked confused at your apartment.
"Where is he!" He yelled.
"None of my concern, he's not my son anymore it made its choice," he said as he realized your parents disowned you.
"He saved five hundred people that were on that beach! Don't you care he did that? He even saved me! If it wasn't for him, everyone would be dead. I would be in the hospital, possibly dead or dying, and so many other people would be in the same shoes. This place may not even be around. He is also not an it. He is a guy who has feelings. Where is he?" He asked.
"Hopefully dead somewhere. People like him don't have feelings. They aren't people. All of you are freaks who deserve to be locked up in a lab and experimented on or, better yet, killed off. You should all be sterilized for not being a pure human being. Now, if you excuse me, I have to clean out an apartment," he said.
"What are we going to do? He left his phone on the beach, and he's not at these two places. He doesn't like being in public with us," Izuku said.
He didn't say anything as he went into your apartment and started going through your stuff, trying to find out where you went. He found an MP3 player that had hundreds of songs that were filled with nothing but love and joy. Some songs had weird names, and some were intense and angry, but there were only a few of those.
The movers moved your bed, and he noticed a floorboard that was a slightly different color. He lifted the floorboard and found a massive porn collection along with other books. Some of the pornos you had were concealed by a fake cover. He sighed heavily and realized you were forcing yourself to start, but no matter what you did, you were gay.
"You know what funny I knew already he was gay. I found this floorboard before," he said. There is a lot of new stuff in it, though," he said.
"Then why did you ask for his address if you already knew?" Izuku asked.
"Because I thought maybe he would put another address down if he was receiving mail like this, but I guess he made sure to hide it. It was obvious he was gay to me, but what I didn't know was he was forcing himself to be straight," he sighed.
"How did you know?" He asked.
"Because I like both girls and guys. I never knew his parents hated gay people or people with quirks, I guess that's why we never came here. I needed something back that he borrowed, and I found the floorboard," he chuckled as he paused.
"Hey Izuku, what type of music do you listen to when you're angry?" He asked.
"Heavy metal...." he said.
"We need to find him before his quirk hurts someone. If he's mad enough, he might start singing to get some anger out, but he might lose control," Shindo said.
"I'll call everyone from 1a to see if we can find him! We can see if the school can make a suit for him," he said.
"How are we supposed to make a suit for someone who has been hiding their quirk? We don't know what his weakness is!" He said.
"His mood he thinks he lost us to who knows what he's going to do now or where he's at," Shindo said as Izuku looked at him terrified.
